It’s restaurant week again! Discovering this new restaurant at The Murray, a new chic spot in Central! Elegant and spacious environment setting you down into the causal fine dining scene with ease. 3-course dinner | $398ppStarted off with warm whole wheat and multigrain baguettes complemented by their homemade seaweed butter. Then came with the amuse brouche - the crispy fish skin was light and such a brilliant appetizing snack to kickstart the meal while the avocado mini tart offered you some freshness (the tart base was a bit dull and dry though).The first course was hand picked crab cake with lime mayonnaise, very refreshing and light starter. The crab cake was slightly pan-fried forming crispy crust which was a very nice touch.As the dinner progressed, it only got better and better! The main course, White miso black cod, was surprisingly delicious, the cod was perfectly cooked with enough crustation. The miso sauce had a slight sweet tone but not too overpowering, well balanced with the creamy celeriac purée. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The grilled striploin steak was tender and succulent, pinch of seasoning was enough to let the natural beef flavor sang through prominently without much need of a sauce.Last but not least, it’s the showstopper dessert time! Both desserts looked stunning, they were so photogenic I can’t help but did a series of foodporn photoshot 😂 First the yuzu mille feuille served with lemon sorbet was so refreshing with tartness from both sorbet and yuzu cream perfectly complementing the crispy pastry - which was one of the lightest, flakiest, puffiest I’ve had in a while. Finally the showstopper - baked apple tart. Stunning, delicate and decadent, a dish full of contrast. Warm tart topped with cool vanilla gelato, baked apple tartness balanced with sweetness of caramel. The complementary vanilla sauce was too sweet for my liking so I left it off. Overall, it reminds me of apple tart tatin, not sure if I like the soggy tart base 🤔 a tasty dessert nonetheless. An enjoyable night with incredible food, nice service and comfy ambiance, and more importantly at great value! They are planning on a weekend brunch menu to be introduced in Apr, will definitely be back for that 😉 繼續閱讀

3 courses set dinner 🍴worth to try 未上starter前,有三款麵包俾你㨂,分別有普通牛油同紫菜牛油搽包食,鹹鹹地,幾得意!之後個amuse bouche 係有泰國風味既蝦,應該係有啲泰國herbs , 幾醒胃Appetizer:- Hand picked crab cake 🦀 :蟹肉鮮甜,一絲絲既蟹肉,個汁係lime mayonnaise 酸酸地, 好食- Creamy broccoli and bacon soup 🥦: 將西蘭花打成湯,由侍應即刻斟出來,吾會令到啲煙肉淋哂- Endive and green apple 🍏:呢個係我最鍾意食嘅,啲蘋果夠爽脆配上啲醬汁好好食Main course :- White miso black cod : 呢個餸原來係呢度嘅signature,果然出色,好少black cod 肉質咁彈口,因為black cod 應該都係急凍,個miso sauce 又唔會好鹹- Grilled striploin steak : medium rare , 夠淋,但牛味不是太重- Ricotta and spinach cannelloni : 粗生水管麵,內藏茄子同芝士,配上蕃茄醬Dessert : - Yuzu and vanilla Mille feuille : 拿破崙夠鬆脆,夾埋D柚子cream 同lime sorbet, so fresh ,呢個係我嘅至愛😍- Baked apple fine tart : 蘋果tart 上配左球自家製的雲呢拿gelato , 蘋果酸酸,雪糕甜甜,好match , 可以因自己喜好淋上雲呢拿sauce - Majari chocolate cream- 呢個賣相好靚,仲好有層次感,底層係mix berries sauce , 中間嗰層係朱古力蛋糕,最頂頂係好滑朱古力cream , 仲有幾塊紅色既朱古力脆片,好有口感! 繼續閱讀

其實呢間餐廳,我係佢新開既時候食過好好味,個牛既炭燒味令我一直都好難忘,但係琴晚再去食,好失望。基於上次真係好好味,又超抵食,我當今次係例外,不過其實都有原因,因為佢要配合Hsbc 既優惠,只有一個餐可以點(當然有得三選一)個價錢$398嚇到我以爲睇錯🙄但係我黎得食飯,我就想食到好味既野食佢因爲配合個優惠,將個成本減低,而影響到個食物quality我寧願比返$1300一位,但食到好既食物啦我會過左匯豐優惠 7/4再去過既比多次機會你 繼續閱讀

We read the reviews on this restaurant and decided to give it a go for our 7th year wedding anniversary, however, the service was terrible and the staff was unprofessional. We felt like we were being rushed to finish the dinner as they served bread, amuse bouche and the appetizer altogether!!! It doesn’t feel like a fine dining experience at all. Also, no one introduced the food when served. We opted for the wine pairing option, but the Sauvignon blanc served was not cold and there was no sommelier to introduce the wine and to explain the pairing experience! I specifically called to confirm that we are celebrating our anniversary and they mentioned that they will prepare something accordingly during the dessert time, however when dessert was served, nothing was prepared re: our celebration and I had to ask them to double check on my booking details. They didn’t apologize to me at all for missing out on the details and just took back the desserts and put on a chocolate garnish with writings on the same dessert (my apple tart was already soggy when it was served the second round! ) this is not the kind of service we expect from such restaurant ! It definitely ruined our celebration Food wise, it was average, but the overall dining experience was terrible. we won’t return again! 繼續閱讀

服務真係唔差, very attentive. 之不過每款主菜上到4/5 百, 我對佢係有d 失望...坐低冇幾耐就即刻送上小食, 係mini tomato basket, 都幾refreshing. 跟住再送上 on-the-house 嘅一口牛, 肉質好鮮嫩, 可惜個醬甜得滯, 蓋過咗肉味.兩個人, 一個叫咗sea bass, 一個叫咗Angus sirloin 同個salad for share.Sea bass 係正常嘅, crispy skin, lightly seasoned, sides with sautéed veggie with a hint of tomato sauce.但係個sirloin 就... 即係咁, sirloin 已經係算lean meat, 佢同你係煮嗰時已經去咗個cap fat (後來問咗個煮法先知)... 但係上碟又擺咗舊自家製但係又淡茂茂嘅herb butter 係sirloin面度. 我其實好想問佢即係想點? Sirloin 因為low fat content 已經相比起ribeye 肉味冇咁豐富. 今次仲要去埋cap fat先煮. Sigh... 真係浪費左舊angus.其實怪都係怪自己唔警覺. 問recommendation 時佢已經講咗個lamb chop 係去油邊先煮, 所以冇咁羶. 個時冇諗咁多, 只係一心諗一定唔要個lamb chop. 一係lamb chop 來貨唔靚所以好羶. 一係個廚諗多咗. 但係勢估唔到sirloin 連煮嗰陣時都要去埋cap fat... 可能間餐廳係走健康路線掛... 都唔知可以點同佢兜.Salad okay. No compliant.甜品個friend 叫咗個巨版 raspberry macaron. Well, 因為真係冇乜得好揀. 佢話個chef de cuisine 係個法國佬. 但係個 outer shell 就硬繃繃, not flaky at all.Again, 食物質素有待改善. 每人一千係俾個環境同埋熱心嘅服務. 繼續閱讀
