I like seafood prepared in western style. As this restaurant is famous for its seafood platter, I invited my friend to go there for lunch.The restaurant is located on the 18/F of H8, a commercial building at Hou Fook Street, Tsim Sha Tsui. There are different kinds of eateries in this building.Captain's House is furnished in a modern and laid-back style. Seating is spacious and comfortable. The waitresses are helpful and efficient.We ordered a seafood platter with shrimps, live clams and live mussels. We chose lemon butter sauce. The seafood platter came in a big plastic bag and metal container. The waitress helped us shake the bag before opening it for us to enjoy. It was fun to see the shaking and mixing of food inside the bag, and exciting to see the colorful platter with steam coming out. We were provided with plastic aprons and hand gloves before we started to enjoy the seafood platter. The seafood was fresh and yummy. In particular, the clams and shrimps are flavourful. The lemon butter sauce added much value to the seafood. The sausages, maize and new potatoes inside the platter were nice, too.We enjoyed the signature Louisiana crab cake a lot. It was full of tasty crab meat, and was highly recommended if you like fried seafood.The Bolognese sphagetti was also a nice try. The taste and texture of the sphagetti was good. The big meat ball with melting cheese was tasty, but not too fat.As we had to work in the afternoon, we ordered mocktails instead of beer. Our choices, Mid Summer Dream (cranberry juice, apple juice, lime juice and Sprite) and Tuscany Sun (peach puree, apple juice and ginger ale), were refreshing and nice.Though we were almost full, we could not resist the temptation of sharing a dessert. We loved our apple pie with ice cream. It was well baked with plenty of sour and sweet apples. It was big enough for two persons to share and was a perfect choice.We enjoyed our lunch very much, and have no reservation to recommend this restaurant to you. 繼續閱讀

今次我lunch去到食,因為朋友唔食蝦所以無叫shakeshake海鮮,反而點咗漢堡包、炸魚薯條,有驚喜🔶白酒蒜蓉煮青口呢個好好食,個醬汁好香濃,帶有少少鮮甜,令青口好甜,入邊仲有用咗粟米去煮,增添甜味🔶路易斯安那特色蟹餅呢個必點,出面好少有呢個蟹餅,係呢度嘅特色食品外脆內軟,入面啖啖肉,真心足料!🔶自選漢堡(點咗牛肉+菠蘿+煙肉)牛肉五成熟,好大份好多汁,好有鮮味菠蘿都有燒過,好香口。煙肉都有燒,不過唔會太硬,配合返漢堡嘅軟熟不過可惜個漢堡冇醬汁,變咗味道淡淡的,無咩味如果有醬汁配搭嘅話會更加惹味值得一提嘅係份量超大,兩個人share食都夠飽🔶炸魚柳配薯條係外國最愛食呢啲,佢呢個炸魚柳好大塊,外脆內軟,份量都多,一定會飽!薯條都粗身大條🔶New York Cheese Cake個cheese cake一定要食,佢好軟淋淋好creamy唔同平時cake咁,而且份量都多,兩人share都可以🔶Fruit Punch , Sugar Kiss 繼續閱讀

每次經過厚福街都好想試下E間The captain's house嘅Shake Shake海鮮袋, 適逢年尾又聖誕節就好想食好d, 於是今晚就約埋朋友仔去試下☺️! 一入到去就覺得個環境怖置好美式, 入面大約有十幾張枱到, 枱與枱之間分隔幾遠, 所以坐得幾舒服!餐廳提供多款海鮮主食🍝, 小食🍤, 當然仲有佢地最出名嘅海鮮袋!除此之外, 仲有好多特色飲品🍹, 酒水🍸🥂同甜品🍰!Sugar Kiss🍹(左)由熱情果同紅莓混合而成嘅味道, 上面仲有蘋果粒粒🍎, 酸酸甜甜幾開胃!Blue Ocean🍹(右)Cocktail帶薄荷味🌱, 入面仲有荔枝肉, 味道幾清新!海鮮拼盤A海鮮拼盤共有ABC三個level, A可以揀3款海鮮, B可以揀5款而C可以揀8款咁多!! 由於小妹同朋友仲想留肚試其他野所以就點左A!入面有10隻蝦🦐 , 10隻蜆同10隻青口! 醬汁方面亦有3款可以揀:檸檬牛油, 卡薑蒜蓉同胡椒牛油!小妹就揀左檸檬牛油味🍋, 上枱果陣店員會即埸拋起個袋, mix好令牛油汁平均滲入食物當中, 沾滿哂醬汁之後再打開😯! 海鮮袋入面除左3款海鮮之外, 仲有薯仔🥔粟米🌽同香腸! 檸檬牛油汁令海鮮更加鮮甜, 除左多左一種清新感覺仲中和左牛油嘅膩感! 蝦肉口感結實,青口肥美, 蜆肉爽甜無沙! 海鮮袋size唔細, 2個人share一個Platter A岩岩好!😊路易斯安那特色蟹餅🦀蟹餅外層酥脆可口, 一切開入面, 蟹肉千絲萬縷, 滿滿嘅蟹肉呈現眼前🤤! 食落蟹味濃郁, 微微濕潤, 配搭上面嘅醬汁令整體無咁膩, 建議兩個人一齊share!香煎刺身帶子意粉🍝刺身帶子非常厚肉, 外皮邊位煎得好香脆, 入面軟硬適中, 口感鮮嫩!自家製番茄醬嘅番茄味🍅唔會特別濃, 味道比較偏甜, 而且唔會蓋過帶子原有鮮味! 值得一讚佢地嘅意粉煮得岩岩好, 食落軟硬度適中有彈性!😉Cream Brulee 🍮E到嘅Cream Brulee份量幾大, 面層焦糖幾脆唔會過厚, 燉蛋香得嚟口感嫩滑! 繼續閱讀

今天媽媽剛好去了尖沙咀買東西,下班以後就去找她吃既飯了。在附近搜到這間吃SHAKE海鮮的挺特別的,就選了這間店來試試了。去到餐廳以後就發現餐廳已經完成了佈置聖誕節的裝飾了,很有氣氛,情侶來就正好了!而這次很幸運的是店員剛好安排了我們坐在聖誕樹的旁邊,真的是太爽了!路易斯安那特色蟹餅(98元)這個蟹餅整個的都用蟹肉弄成的,內裡的蟹肉一絲一絲的,而在由於蟹餅經過烤焗的關係,蟹肉本身的水份大量減少,剩下全是蟹肉的精華,蟹味比新鮮的更加香濃,吃進口裡後都滿口都是蟹的濃香!而且全是蟹肉的關係,吃起來不費功夫,真係的爽,懶人必點!熱船展海鮮拼盤3種海鮮(398元)這裡最有名的餐點就是這個拼盤,可以選擇多款不同海鮮,再拌上特色醬汁,然後店員還會在你面前SHAKE整個海鮮袋,整個過程挺特別的!這次因為我們只有2人吃,所以只點了3種海鮮,分別是海蝦,活青口和活蜆,醬汁就選了檸檬牛油汁。海鮮袋除了有3款海鮮外,還有粟米,薯仔和香草腸,跟醬汁混合了以後都很好吃!鮮鮮方面,海蝦鮮甜彈牙,活青口有嚼勁味道鮮甜,活蜆鮮甜可口,再配上帶點酸的牛油汁,吃起來十分開胃!香煎刺身帶子意粉(155元)帶子用了牛油來香煎,約五成熟,外面微微煎香,內裡還保持住刺身的質感,吃起來既有點牛油的香味,又有刺身帶子的鮮甜味,非常好吃!而意粉基底為茄汁加肉碎,再拌而一點蒜蓉牛油的香味,十分惹味,而且剛上桌的時候還有熱氣的,真的是即叫即煮!Creme Brulee(焦糖布丁) (78元)飯後甜點怎能少!叫了一個焦糖布丁,這個是冷吃的,面上弄了有焦糖,而且最上面的布丁是暖暖的,而下面的是冷,有種冰火的感覺,哈哈!布丁吃起來很嫩滑,不會太甜,有雞蛋的香味,配上脆脆的焦糖,味道不錯!Sugar Kiss (58元)這杯是無油精雞尾酒,底味是以蔓越莓為主,百香果味為副,最上還有不同的生果,味道酸甜,帶點水果香!Fruit Punch (58元)這杯也是無油精雞尾酒,底味以菠蘿味為主,橙味為副,味道比較香甜,菠蘿味比較突出! 繼續閱讀

I had been super looking forward to the dinner date because the venue was The Captain's House! I remembered that their creative Seafood Platter was really delicious and special. There were three types of seafood platter at three prices of $398, $558 and $808 +10% with 3, 5 and 8 types of seafood included respectively. There were 9 types of seafood to choose from, including scallops, snow crab leg, baby abalones, crayfish, shrimp, live mussels, baby octopus, live clams, sea whelk. You could choose lemon butter sauce, cajun garlic butter sauce or pepper butter sauce to go with the seafood.In addition to the must-order Seafood Platter, we also ordered a few items from their a la carte menu, including an appetiser and a pasta to share. We chose the cheapest seafood platter with pepper butter sauce 胡椒牛油汁. When it was served to us, the server was so kind to offer to take a photo of us with the bag. So considerate of her! Then she tried to mix the seafood well with the sauce inside the bag, before opening the bag in front of us for us to enjoy our seafood. She also offered 4 disposable gloves for us to eat the seafood. Seafood Platter A (10 Shrimps, 10 Live Mussels, 10 Live Clams) at $398+10%As we were quite hungry this time, we picked the kind of seafoods of the biggest portion. The live clams were the best as they were super fresh and tender and juicy! They were not small and were served with shells! The live mussels and the shrimps were also served with shells but the disposable gloves kept our hands clean. The pepper butter sauce was better than I thought as the pepper flavour was just right and would not be overly stimulating nor spicy. It was just a little bit spicy. There were loads of diced onions in the sauce. Personally, I preferred the cajun garlic butter sauce which we tried last time though. That was super appetising and delicious. For those who didn't mind spicy sauce, cajun garlic butter sauce was really a must-try! That said, this pepper butter sauce was not bad at all. Maybe next time I should try out the lemon butter sauce.In addition to the seafood, there were 1 big Frankfurt sausage cut into 5 pieces, 3 sweet corn pieces and 3 big potatoes to fill your stomach. Quality was quite good too. I liked how their Frankfurt sausage was not overly salty at all.Louisiana Crab Cake 路易斯安那特色蟹餅 $98+10%In addition to the Seafood Platter, we were quite impressed by other food items! We ordered their Louisiana Crab Cake as our appetizer. "Rich Crab Meat, Mayonnaise, Coriander, served with Remonlade Sauce" according to the menu. It was so considerate of them to serve the crab cake on a mini teppan to keep warmth. It was probably one of the best crab cakes I had ever had. It was very crabby with tons and tons of crab meat. Every bite tasted nice of crab meat. The crust was well cooked so that it was a little bit crusty yet not overly oily. The spicy Remonlade sauce was very appetising and delicious. The coriander and those baby bean sprouts on top were great to add freshness. I just wished there could have been more to eat.Grill scallops spaghetti with homemade semi-dry tomato sauce 香煎刺身帶子意粉 $155+10%"tossed Zucchini, Fresh Basil, Onion, Sundried Tomato Pesto" according to the menu. There were three giant scallops which were pan fried so perfectly that the crust was crispy yet it was not yet fully cooked inside. It was super fresh and meaty. Yummy. I particularly appreciated how they added some very thin zucchini shreds to add texture to the spaghetti. The homemade semi-dry tomato sauce was delicious and there was more than sufficient to cover all the spaghetti. We ordered two mocktails to wash down the food.Pink Flamingo (Pineapple Juice, Milk, Grenadine) $58+10%The drink on the left looked super lady with some flower petals on the surface. It was a very good mix of milk with grenadine and tasted like yoghurt. Yummy! Mid Summer Dream (Apple juice, Cranberry juice, Lime Juice, Sprite) $58+10%The drink on the right tasted fruity sour which was mostly dominated by lime juice. It was quite appetising and could help relieve thirst. New York Cheese Cake $78+10%We were glad that we had ordered this because this Cheese Cake was exceptionally outstanding! It was made like a small mountain in a big portion. It was really like a type of thick mousse of cheesecake which was super smooth yet with a lot of cheese cake pieces to add texture. Flavour-wise it was very delicious and not overly greasy or sweet. It was decorated by some fresh strawberries, blueberries and the yellow berries (which I didn't know what they were although they were a bit hard and sour), and just sufficient chocolate sauce. It was one of the best and most creative cheese cakes I had ever had. Would definitely recommend it.Seating was comfortable with sufficient room and shields among tables. Service was warm and welcoming which made our stay very comfortable. The way they took care of the details of the dining experience e.g. offering disposable gloves, offering to take a photo for you etc. was definitely a bonus.
