The modern earthy-toned interior design is themed with the signature Korean moon element—the name “solstice”, curved ceiling, moon lamps, wall projection of two moons as well as round-shaped ceramic tablewares. The chic interior alone has articulated the restaurant’s contemporary Korean identity. The meal started off with Chef Kim’s introduction of the food basket—sesame leaves, miyeok, sun-dried radish leaves and zucchini as well as tomatoes—ingredients on the menu.Lunch Menu1. Banchan - Gaji Namul🍆Reinterpreting banchan into a bite-sized tart2. Gyeran-jjim 🥚The smooth egg curd merges well with diverse textures and flavours of mushrooms, morels, thin crunches and buttery flavour of pine nut sauce.3. Saewoo-jang🦐With the addition of tomatoes, ice cream cheese and perilla oil, the dish has transformed the classic soy shrimp into a refreshing appetiser without losing the essence of the original plate.4. Jeonbok 🌊(add-on +148)The abalone slices are layered with radish thins and topped with garlic aioli, submerging in mussel foam and maesaengi (a kind of seaweed) sauce. One spoonful of the dish is enough to transport your palette to deep ocean, the foam, smooth moss, tender and yet springy abalone, crispiness of radish thins together give out complex and flavourful tastes. It’s a must-try dish!5. Han Jeong Sal🐖Highlight of the meal~the cuboid-shaped pork jowls are accompanied by siraegi (leaves/stems of radish that’s cooked with doenjang), rolled sausage, pickled burdock, onion as sides and soy-sauced radish strips rice.6. Bori 🍫It’s not just any other normal chocolate mousse and vanilla ice cream. The adoption of barley and tonka has added extra nuttiness and hints of berry and spice to the dessert!7. Petit fours🧁- yuzu mango tart- chocolate puffs topped with sesame creamIt’s pure bliss to be able to enjoy delicate fusion Korean food in Hong Kong.
