First try Rubia for some #spanishtapas
The cold cut is exquisite, i think its better than those in picapica
The octopus is tender and the mashed potato is creamy and buttery
Tuna tartare with avocado has a very tangy taste, match perfectly with the toast on side

In fact the texture and the temperature is surprisingly good, nonetheless the taste is sooooooo strong and heavy that i could not handle.

Overall experience is fantastic though!

we went here with a group of friends for restaurant week for the set dinner. The food portion were very small, we compared it to the size with neighbouring tables, we suspect they are smaller due to restaurant week menu. For HKD488 per person, it shouldn’t be so mean. The venue is not that amazing for an expensive dinner, there are many better spanish food options in town with the same value. Restaurant Week always offers superb dining deals. This time, Rubia surprised my friend and I with huge portion of delicious food!I got this Duck Foie Gras Mi-Cult as appetizer. The slightly salted duck foie gras was so supreme! It wasn’t stuffing at all! We were absolutely stunned to see these huge plates of Buttermilk Fried Chicken to be served as main. The generous amount of sides definitely gave us a bit of fright for not being able to finish all the food. We don’t like to waste food, especially yummy one. And of course we couldn’t finish the whole plate, we were so glad that we could take away half of the food. The buttermilk fried chicken was great with the truffle all i oli. Love the seasoned fries. The butter lettuce and tomatoes made a nice salad.
Churros with Dark Chocolate and Baileys

This is the first time that I have Churros with Baileys in the chocolate dip, and it’s very mind-blowing!!! The freshly fried churros were already so delicious on its own with the crunchy dough sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. The dark chocolate and baileys dip just made it supreme!

Highly recommend you to give Rubia a try.

I would NEVER recommend this restaurant. Whole meal rushed like hving a meal in Mcdonald and its quality......hmmm i would say, better having a meal in MCD or KFC. I booked with restaurant week and the only available timeslot on that day was 2pm. After I arrived, the staff reminded us that they they will close at 3pm today. Such a friendly reminder !After I ordered, I tot I still have like 40 - 50 mins for the meal, NOT TOO BAD compared to MCD. I ordered Foie Gras and Rib Eye, tbh, the size of

I ordered Foie Gras and Rib Eye, tbh, the size of the foir gras was pretty generous but i would say it is tasteless, poured with olive oil which is too strong that almost covered everthing.


BUT TRUE, should not expect much for the starters. Unfortunately, Its cold inside, maybe thats the version of their medium rare. Hardly could I find any sign of grill. It feels like the meat was coming from a bowl of hot water.


Luckily, dessert was not bad.

Smoked Salmon, Truffle Bikini:又有驚喜!今次不是賣相,是食味!不要看貶三文魚三文治,的確出色!

Steak Tartare, Bone Marrow:賣相出色,骨頭作盛器,又有薄薄的小多士,不過個人對Tartare(免治類)不是太好呢!

Main是
Tenderloin:又又有驚喜!賣相真的平平!但食味、稔度、生熟度,恰如其分,好好吃!

飯後甜品
Warm Cheesecake:由於趕還檯,草草吃完,沒特別感覺!

Rubia是吃的好地方,不是傾偈相聚的好地方!
