好久沒吃西班牙菜了,城裡一直找不到特別出眾的西班牙館子,新收藏了Rubia便來試試。環境輕鬆愉快,每道菜的質量都很不錯,最終滿意而歸,下次一定會再來,嘗試更多的菜式!——-Seasonal tomato salad with smoked sardines. 整支番茄沙拉,夾著煙薰沙丁魚片,很有滋味,味道層次豐富,喜歡。Octopus gallega on potato cream 烤章魚搭配薯泥,章魚火候正好,肉質恰到好處,搭配細膩綿密的potato cream味道好極了。比前兩天在某意大利餐廳吃的烤章魚好吃多了。Gambas Al ajillo 橄欖油蒜味蝦,橄欖油很豐富但蒜味不足,可以多些蒜的味道。padron pepper 在這裡是side dish,跟牛排一起上。pepper個頭很大,不油膩,很好吃。Rubia Gallega boneless rib eye,五分熟,服務員提醒可能有點chewy,實際上味道非常好,口感也恰到好處,不像wagyu beef那種油膩的軟嫩,是一種外面焦酥,內部軟嫩的口感,個人很喜歡。配菜的紅椒很有味道,薯條脆脆的,沙拉也很好吃,這些菜如果讓我單點我也樂意。最後全部都被消滅的一乾二淨。甜品點了bakes hot chocolate cake with candied orange, hazelnut, and chocolate cardamom ice cream. 烤熱巧蛋糕搭配巧克力雪糕,蛋糕烤得太棒了,靠近盤邊的一圈微微酥,內部無比軟嫩,搭配巧克力雪糕,瞬間被消滅完。 繼續閱讀

Celebrating birthday with my friends, the ambience and decor are nice in the restaurant, the manager was very helpful, the food taste good, there was a small mistake made from the order and the waiter trying to argue with us and insist of putting down the plate, which was a bit awkward, but finally he agreed to change the dish, which we think he could have sent it back to kitchen right away rather than trying to say we ordered the wrong thing, thus the girl was giving us a little attitude when she has to bring the dish back. 見到OpenRice 呢間新開無幾耐既餐廳,主打西班牙菜,見食評唔相都好唔錯,疫情之下難得出街食一次飯,就千挑萬選左呢一間,但係食完我地都好後悔張個quota俾左佢餐廳既服務整體泥講唔錯架,侍應食每一道菜都會問你覺得點,但我覺得就真係too much,有少少煩。講到食物真係我地係下晝去的,注意佢地係無set lunch,全日都係a la Carte,呢個蝦既頭盤唯一做得好既地方就係夠熱。蝦一啲蝦味都無,感覺係雪藏蝦。 等二味八爪魚配有芝士薯蓉既tapas 可唯最出色,但呢味可以熱啲就好。芝士薯蓉好食,八爪魚正常。之後嗌左佢地最有名既dry-aged beef dish 侍應建議既5成熟度, 出泥既時候唔知係咪太細塊...我感覺只有中間個3/4塊可以食,其實都好乾以接近500蚊一客既價錢,我覺得有掉錢落鹹水海既感覺。鐘意食全熟牛扒既朋友們可以一試最後,亦都係食次泥既原因,warm cheese tart, 佢地既cheese tart有加blue cheese 制作相對比較濃,但如果唔食blue cheese 的話,我勸你唔好試啦 雖然叫warm cheese tart 上到枱cheese tart 都呈半溶狀態,但其實一啲都唔warm 又有被騙嘅感覺⋯⋯整體來講,400以上人均消費既午餐。有好多比佢出色既選擇。絶對沒有下次。 繼續閱讀

Who could ever resist a good old steak like this one?😻New to the steakhouse scene is Rubia, a spanish steak/tapas resto situated in the soho neighbourhood._Their 𝙧𝙪𝙗𝙞𝙖 𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖 𝙗𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙮𝙚 ($480) is a must-get! I recall trying rubia gallega steak back at Blue Butcher years ago and just falling in love with the breed for it’s exceptional depth in flavour. So I was THRILLED to hear that finally there’s a new place in hk that serves them!Aged for a slightly shorter time of 20-days, the rubia gallega served here doesn’t have as much intensity in terms of those blue cheese/nutty notes, but still delivers a wonderfully rich flavour. Plus I must commend how incredibly tender and fine the meat is😻 This piece of steak def scores in both the texture and flavour columns! Plus it’s served with hand-cut fries, smokey sweet Piquillo peppers and some crispy butter lettuce. Just like the spanish way!💃🏻_And of course, how could you not get tapas at a spanish resto?!Our vote goes to the 𝙤𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙥𝙪𝙨 𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖 𝙤𝙣 𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 ($135). The octopus slices are perfectly seasoned and just soso tender. And that potato cream underneath is absolutely TO DIE FOR!🤤_For desserts, be sure to try their 𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙢 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙬/ 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙚𝙮 𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 ($70)Unlike ordinary cheesecake, Rubia’s version is made with both cream cheesecake and BLUECHEESE! Now don’t be intimidated, cuz the bluecheese doesn’t overwhelm at all and is just SPOT ON, giving the cake another dimension in flavour. The only downside would be the whiskey ice cream which we thought wasn’t creamy enough, and had this strange bland and watery aftertaste😕 but the cheesecake itself surely makes up for it! Just look at how creamy it is‼️🤤_In short- lovely food, great vibes, cozy interiors, friendly staff, perfect for a casual date night/for a gathering with a bunch of friends💓 Thank you Chef @ and his team for serving us such an amazing meal!🙌🏼 繼續閱讀

Been to Rubia a few times since it’s opening in January and it has not let me down! Their staff is quite attentive and friendly, relaxed ambience and delicious food - I personally love the rib eye and tuna tartare! They serve from Spanish steak, huevos rotos (Broken eggs), shrimp, oysters to burgers and cheesecake! Super delicious food using fresh ingredients.
