The restaurant settles in a ghostly alley of San Po Kong. At night, there is no one in the dark streets but a couple of black cats lurking in shaded corners, eyes widened to form pairs of white spots. They reside in the area for a while now. No one knows where they came from. The restaurant is next to an abandoned store. The dim lights from the restaurant entrance seems not very welcoming.Natalie and I went in. We live around the block and there’re not many options to choose from when it comes to food. We knew about this place online. We haven’t tried it before so we thought why not give it a try. The Bolognese spaghetti with dip-fried shrimps was awful. Very bland. There was no tomato flavour whatsoever. Consistency was watery. Minced pork was so few. The spaghetti was overcooked as well. Shrimps were equally terrible. They broke apart instantly when I lifted them up with my fork. Tasteless as well.At some point I thought to myself: ‘Did I just lose my sense of taste?’ I wondered. But my companion reassured me that me taste buds were fine. Natalie’s cold-served udon in sesame sauce was not awful, but the sauce was surprisingly sweet. It came with dip-fried shrimps as well. Guess what - they sucked too.On the way home, I looked into the sky as Natalie and I strolled down the quiet streets of San Po Kong. I simply wasn’t sure what I had eaten tonight. 繼續閱讀

十月十五日晚上七時十分order 這個併盤,黎道見到三隻鷄翼面落左D醬,已經覺得奇怪,一試,原來係勁辣辣醬,以前order過,不會落醬,用味碟另上,而且,有碟泰國酸辣伴碟,有位阿姐出來跟進,主動話換番三隻,可能佢通知左個老細,個老細係一名男子,佢問乜嘢事,又話一向都落辣醬,拎份menu俾佢睇,佢就話:「好啦好啦俾番你!」唔好以為補番三隻就可以算數!我退返俾你之餘,勁辣D鷄翼都唔勉強自己吃!咁,我臨走問佢,這餐廳接唔接受投訴,個男子話寫open rice! 繼續閱讀

走出東啟德體育館在新蒲崗尋覓醫肚的地方,最近就看到一個搶眼紅色招牌,就是這間近年多間連鎖餐廳Red Rice!環境也大,衛生一般,職員不多,忙於落單,簡單整理餐桌就已有另一批客人。中午時段客人多是鄰近工廠區的上班族,座位多,客人更多,幸好我只是一人,隨意找個空位坐下,點了份雞扒蛋包飯,凍奶茶。看見對面的客人的咖喱汁看似很吸引,所以也加了$2轉咖喱汁!蛋包飯是店內起家的菜式,蛋雖然是後加鋪上米飯的,但每一啖飯是特別之處,有點像珍珠米加冷飯炒完的效果,也像是意大利飯的米似的,口感豐富,再加上不過不失的咖喱汁,轉眼就吃得乾乾淨淨!另外煎後的雞扒皮碎,但好像煎得太耐較薄肉的部分較乾身!喜歡它有少許沙律菜相伴,既清新又有營養的配搭! 繼續閱讀

lunch搵食,大家各自叫唔同野~呢間之前已經食過,3眼仔煎蛋是重點,而且款式多,夠大份,不過我叫咗蛋包飯,我鍾意有麻醬沙律菜,飯底係西炒飯,可惜唔夠熱,豬扒都ok,但同事嘅巨人豬扒肉質好食過我嘅相撲豬扒(明明我款價錢貴啲)。。。其他野都ok,所有扒都好大塊,對得住個價錢~唯獨野菌雜菜蛋包飯,同事搵咗好耐,得一塊仔菇菇。。。(其實佢想食雜菌多過野菜😅) 好在我地啲扒份量多,分啲比佢食又點話~但下次我都係食返巨人豬扒好了~ 繼續閱讀

今日去到新蒲崗運動完之後,非常肚餓,就去了最近的茶餐廳食午餐。 這裡的午餐非常抵食,而質素也不錯。冬瓜粒雞肉湯飯 - 啖啖清甜的冬瓜湯,加上美味的雞肉,夏天消暑的最好選擇。雞扒蛋包飯配黑椒汁 - 雞扒仍然有很多肉汁,煎得不太老,蛋亦很嫩滑,配上黑椒汁非常冶味。相撲手豬扒蛋包飯配咖喱汁 - 聽名字已經知道豬扒是大大件,但煎得很好,配咖喱汁很有日本風味。黑椒豬扒鐵板烏冬 - 烏冬及豬扒放在熱辣辣的鐵板,送來時已經聞到香噴噴,非常吸引。 繼續閱讀
