We wanted a quiet place for dinner so that we can relax, chat and enjoy good food.Pici popped up in my mind because many of my friends recommended it. We arrived at 6:30pm, right after work.Our first time coming, so we had the tasting menu, which included two starters, three pastas, and two desserts for two people. Never did I think veal would go great with tuna - quite a new taste to me.
Generous portion of tartare, texture is smooth, not much tendon.
The cheese makes it even richer. A satisfying and fullfilling appetizer.
With slow-cooked beef cheek. Beef cheek is flavourful and tender.
The sauce is not creamy enough so the pasta and the sauce seem separate.
Porcini has its unique flavour and it's lingering throughout the pasta. Simple is good.
Salmon and cheese inside, the hint of sourness from cherry tomatoes makes a good balance overall.
We didn't expect much and they turned out impressively amazing! Both are rich and smooth.
Perfect ending.
