晚餐後去ozone飲杯嘢,貪呢度環境唔錯。118樓仲有outdoor,不過都幾凍下。朋友叫左杯cocktail in bottle,樽仔裝住係幾得意,個présentation係靚嘅。我就係隔離嗰杯橙色嘅Ruby,有passion fruit、lime等,飲落好清新,甜味都幾勁,有啲似fruit punch。之後叫左兩隻生蠔,係white pearl,睇落大大隻,幾厚肉,食落好鮮甜,有淡淡的海水味,加埋隔離嘅紅酒醋就會有奇妙嘅chemical reactions, 不錯! 繼續閱讀

This rooftop bar is located inside Ritz-Carlton Hotel, on the 118th floor of the tallest building of Hong Kong. Certainly the highest bar in town, and maybe the world, one has to first take the elevator to the 103th floor before switching to another lift to the roof. Upon arriving the staff took us to our table. As the bar is popular we made the reservation in advance, but still we were seated right outside of the staff entrance, so throughout the night we were blown by the wind whenever someone open the door. With plenty of other tables not taken when we arrived, I cannot stop wondering how come we were so 'lucky'. The decor was magnificent, providing a vibrant, luxurious and hip ambiance. There is also the famous outdoor section but the day was too windy and cold probably to sit outside. But I am sure the view was spectacular and worth the extravagant price of the drinks and food. I ordered the signature cocktail to begin with, Dragon's Back. It was nice but I would say it was a bit too sweet. Ivy ordered the mocktail Emerald which was refreshing and good too. While the bar provided some truffle-flavored popcorn we could not just survive with those, so we also had a few tapas. The Deep Fried Prawn Popcorn with Sweet and Sour Sauce is essentially deep frying the prawn with batter, and then paired with a Thai-style sweet and sour sauce. Well, without the sauce the prawn is simply tasteless, but honestly I remind myself that this is a bar and not a restaurant so we should not be rating it on the same scale. Hoping the next one would be better in quality, the Braised Pork Taco in Mexican Style didn't disappoint. The pork is shredded and seasoned with chili sauce to give a kick to the taste, and it was wrapped in a taco and put on top of a lime cut in a way to hold it nicely. The portion is of bite-size making it easy to manage without creating a lot of messiness eating them. This tapas managed to savage some of my faith in their food. The last tapas is the Omakase Sushi Selection, including five different sushi: salmon, yellowtail, scallops, tuna and snapper. The fish are fresh and tasty, and overall they are surprisingly good. I like the scallops the most as it got great texture and rich in flavors. My only criticism is that the size is just too small, and even as finger food they were a bit too tiny.The service was good with the staff attentive, friendly and courteous. And I also ordered a half-pint Stella Artois in addition to the cocktail, with the final bill of $1,503 which honestly is expensive. Even considering the really phenomenal view the overall experience would not justify the price in my opinion. Took my mom here for Sunday champagne brunch on Mother's Day. Ritz Carlton being hyped as having the 'tallest hotel/bar/restaurant/spa" is just a marketing ploy really because it doesn't really mean it has the best view. Unfortunately for them, the clarity in Hong Kong is more often foggy than not. As the view is the biggest selling point of this place, I actually don't think it's worth it because it's closed off by large windows. Plenty of places in TST have a better view like Cafe Deco and Wooloomooloo at The One or Sevva in Central.The brunch itself was quite indulgent - I wish there were unlimited oysters. The Joselito ham was a favorite and their grill section is also good. Everything was good, but personally for me it was a one time experience. For comparision, I would go (and have gone) again to the Sunday brunches at W's Kitchen and Intercontinental's Harbourside and Manadrin Oriental's Grill - but not this one.  繼續閱讀

友人生日,一直都想上嚟試下佢出名cocktail加gin& tonic!!!Gin&Tonic一向都係我的最愛飲品之一,基本上去親邊度都係飲Gin Tonic,因為唔同Gin飲出嚟感覺都折現不同今次嚟到呢度,好驚喜好開心見到Napue Gin!依隻芬蘭既Gin係2015年被英國評選為世界最好的Gin。即刻諗都唔使諗就要嗌依杯Suomi。入口已經飲到佢既Raspberry味,配合Finnish Gin特別,有別於平時出邊是是但但求求期期倒埋一齊既飲品依杯係Le Jardin,英國Gin配合淡淡Lemon味,唔算濃郁但好易入味,適合平時唔鐘意Gin&Tonic既人試飲(其實Gin&Tonic好多女仔都麻麻)今晚風景好清呀!係118層高望落去的夜景 繼續閱讀

今日黃昏黎到全球最高的天台酒吧,484米高,第118層的Ozone,樓下上去要職員幫你禁Lift先上到去,轉一次Lift就黎到。5點鐘係落場之後再開門的時間,冇人咁濟,咁我地就搵個位坐下,聽下音樂,飲下野咁,音樂幾好聽,有節奏感又唔算太嘈,飲品方面我叫左杯Cocktail,好甜但係好好味,我覺得都算多,唔會好快飲完,佢仲送埋爆谷比我地,不過爆谷好咸下,我諗佢想我地快D口喝可以再叫第二輪飲品。侍應好好人,係一個外國人叫Oliver,佢主動同我地吹下水,可惜我英文就麻麻,虛應之算。出面仲落緊好大雨,我心諗一場黎到冇理由唔影相,於是冒雨衝出去影相,搞到成身濕哂,未日落的景色有雲,玻璃有水的關係,唔係好睇到出面有咩,不過由於四面都有玻璃擋住,唔算好大風,後來等到日落雨都停左,開始見到夜景,好似英雄片個類取景咁,最遠望到Megabox,維港兩岸,連埋尖東都睇到。價錢我覺得有呢個景同埋服務絕對係物超所值,5點至7點未放工傾計係好方便,冇咩人嘈住,臨走的時候都開始多人同熱鬧,有機會一定要再黎。 繼續閱讀
