不久前來過這家米芝蓮附屬餐廳享受過他們的西班牙菜,味道創意用料均上乘,尤其前菜特別出色,但拖了好久才POST上來,想不到竟然已經結業了,希望不是真的結業而是搬遷吧士多啤梨蕃茄西班牙凍湯,本來對凍湯的口感不很喜歡,覺得只是好像雪櫃拿出來未煮熱的蕃茄薯仔湯般,但加上了時令生果,咸香之中帶鮮甜,再呷有輕輕的茄味回甘,吞下去還有種清新而冰涼的感覺左起醃三文魚配烤松子,個人很怕煙三文魚的咸味,這種卻醃得剛好,烤松子烤過後有焦香,一口吃下雙重口感炸魷魚配蒜泥蛋黃醬,魷魚不過韌,彈牙而且新鮮,蒜泥蛋黃醬蒜味不足,但奶油味口感十分豐富,很不錯的點綴酥炸雞翼配希臘乳酪醬乳酪醬順滑甘甜,雞翼肉汁多而且嫰滑無比,可惜色澤不夠鮮明食用油可以更換得頻繁一點左起去骨乳豬配焦糖青蘋果,絕對的出色作品,外皮香脆, 肉質極致嫰滑,幾近即溶的豬肉油香平均,加上醃過的青蘋果的甜中帶酸,實在是驚人的MATCHING,可惜份量過少...右邊的烤挪威三文魚配大蒜蛋黃醬,又是用上了店家拿手好醬,三文魚沒有多餘油脂,7成熟的鮮粉紅嫰滑非常, 魚香十足切下去魚皮依然附著,證明了它的新鮮左起希臘乳酪醬泡沫調酒入口同樣甘香順滑,酒味不濃,

士多啤梨蕃茄西班牙凍湯,

本來對凍湯的口感不很喜歡,

覺得只是好像雪櫃拿出來未煮熱的蕃茄薯仔湯般,

但加上了時令生果,

咸香之中帶鮮甜,

再呷有輕輕的茄味回甘,

吞下去還有種清新而冰涼的感覺

左起醃三文魚配烤松子,

個人很怕煙三文魚的咸味,

這種卻醃得剛好,

烤松子烤過後有焦香,

一口吃下雙重口感

炸魷魚配蒜泥蛋黃醬,

魷魚不過韌,

彈牙而且新鮮,

蒜泥蛋黃醬蒜味不足,

但奶油味口感十分豐富,

很不錯的點綴

雞翼肉汁多而且嫰滑無比,

可惜色澤不夠鮮明

食用油可以更換得頻繁一點

絕對的出色作品,

外皮香脆, 肉質極致嫰滑,

幾近即溶的豬肉油香平均,

加上醃過的青蘋果的甜中帶酸,

實在是驚人的MATCHING,

可惜份量過少...

右邊的烤挪威三文魚配大蒜蛋黃醬,

又是用上了店家拿手好醬,

三文魚沒有多餘油脂,

7成熟的鮮粉紅嫰滑非常, 魚香十足

切下去魚皮依然附著,

證明了它的新鮮

左起希臘乳酪醬泡沫調酒

入口同樣甘香順滑,

酒味不濃, 極易入口

右邊朱古力橄欖油醬西班牙油條

熱辣的西班牙油條, 澆上白砂糖,

點一些苦澀中帶樁子香的巧克力油,

吸引力十分!

另外店家的特制SANGRIA也十分清新,

深沈的血紅色活像果汁,

橘子味濃帶蘋果香,

而且冰涼解渴,

的確很易醉人,

可惜的是沒有拍照...
題外話/補充資料: 祈禱希望店家找到其他地方搬遷吧!

It was relaxed and comfortable, and most of the staff shared a similar laid back yet professional attitude.When we arrived for dinner the restaurant was full, and despite having made a reservation we had to wait at the bar. I was very impressed with the setting. It was relaxed and comfortable, and most of the staff shared a similar laid back yet professional attitude.
When we arrived for dinner the restaurant was full, and despite having made a reservation we had to wait at the bar. Fortunately though, the bartender made for some intriguing conversation and was very polite about the situation, and we were soon seated at a corner table. Every table was sat by people who ordered the Groupon menu, which from what we gathered is a pretty generous deal for people interested in trying out many dishes without turning their wallets inside out. However, it seemed like the restaurant chewed more than they could swallow with the Groupon reservations, as, not only we had to wait after reserving a table, but the waiters were running all over the place, and the kitchen was in mayhem (there are windows to the kitchen and even without hearing the conversation we could tell they're having a hard time), causing our food to arrive pretty slowly.
Despite all of that, the food was of very high quality. We could tell the ingridients were fresh, and the chef made bold, creative yet comfortable decisions with the seasoning. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish that was served to us. My reccomendation would be to order a bunch of tapas to the table, and then fill up on a paella (the Mar y Montana is delicious!), and do not skip on the desert.
Now when it comes to drinks, you must try the red Sangria in Numero 15. you could spend 200$ on a 1 liter pitcher of sangria, or 140$ on two glasses containing essentially the same amount. I also went with the bartender's reccomendation and ordered a Mojito, and that was a fantastic decision. The Numero Mojito is made of all natural ingridients (no factory-made mix), topped with a layer of lime foam made in the place that really shoots up mix of sweet and sour that you want in a Mojito, bridged over by a generous amount of fresh mint.
The music seemed a bit indecisive, alternating between modern lounge background music, and popular old rock songs. We both enjoyed the latter more, although the modern background music fit the atmophere you would expect in such an establishment.
Although the restaurant has some room for improvement, the food and the drinks, and especially the staff's attitudes are all great reasons to come back and try more of Numero 15's food.
Also, shout out to the hot ex-military bartender, who makes for enough of a reason to come back on his own.

Arrived early but was seated immediately, no issues. They were going to seat me and my friend on a table for 2 near the bar but I noted it was directly under the air con so they were very accomodating and allowed me to take a table a little further away and it was perfect. We ordered the garlic prawn adn chorizo for entry. Must admit they were done slightly differnt to what I am use to.. The chorizo was in lengths rather than the usual round circles...with a dash of mash potato. The garlic prawn

The garlic prawns were fresh but needed more garlic.

I order the seafood paella which was done in black squid ink....must saw it was the first time I ever had squid ink on the paella, it was nice but nothing spectacular...

I will go back and try something else, as I think the paellas without the squid ink would be tastier.

手撕伊比利亞豬肋肉迷你漢堡拌芥末蛋黃醬: 漢堡不會太迷你,不能一啖一個,份量充足。豬肋肉鬆軟無比,而且充滿肉汁。溶了的芝士和芥末蛋黃醬,令漢堡更加juicy,芥末味道不算突出。

朱古力橄欖油醬西班牙油條: 跟韓國的肉桂條質感差不多,但西班牙這款加入了橄欖油,其實食不出橄欖油味道。油條上面有糖霜,味道偏甜,蘸旁邊帶苦味的朱古力醬後,味道出奇地配合,變到味道不會太甜或太苦。

今日同事提議食西班牙菜,tapas絕對是女士們夏天的好選擇。我們一進門被熱情的店員招待。我們一行六人各點了各自喜愛的tapas頭盤和主菜,但點菜後店員彷彿消聲匿跡,直至上菜才出現,好像是不想打擾我們幾位源源不絕的話題。我已忘記別的同事點了什麼,只是沉醉在自己的露荀炒雜菌和香煎三文魚。沒有想到西餐的頭盆也份量十足,單吃頭盆也感覺滿足。雜菌一入口載滿香濃的菇菌味,炒得剛好不會淋pat pat。說時遲那時快,主菜已端上,三文魚雖熟透,但卻沒有鞋十十的感覺,每一口也滲著魚油。看到同事的八爪魚燴飯和漢堡飽,賣相吸引,也不禁試一口!飯用高湯煮成,濕潤加上差不多每一口飯也有一片小小的八爪魚在裡頭,很快就被吃光。每人雖然只有兩道菜,但各人的肚子已經填得滿滿,沒有飽飽濟濟的感覺,卻也沒意欲追加點品。

第一啖的感覺已知饅頭有點失準,口感沒有平常那麼鬆化。慣常可靠的秘製泡菜醬汁這晚也忽然變得清淡,而且醬汁未有在黑毛豬扒上塗得均勻,可惜。

第一次試這𥚃的油封脆皮乳豬肉,但份量之小,有少許驚人。

三片差不多切成小正方形的脆皮乳豬肉經過十六小時的油封處理,再配以香梨和蘋果粒來減輕油滯,賣相普通,味道亦未見突出。

五款西班牙飯各有特色,躊躇不決之下,決定交由侍應發板。

侍應揀來的正是全晚最出色的菜式 - 雜菇豬面頰肉西班牙飯。整道菜的主角除了鐵窩上熱騰騰的燒飯之外,還有各式各樣香噴噴的雜菇。

米飯煮得十分入味,口感豐富得難以形容,放入雜菇、豬面頰肉等的材料之後,效果更加精彩。

I saw this place not too long after it opened up and mentally filed it away for a trip. We had headed out to a middle eastern place on Labor Day, only to find it closed for the holiday, so settled on #15 instead. We were surprised and satisfied.A liter of sangria costs less than three glasses, so that's what we went for. First to come was the sauteed mushrooms and asparagus. This was a pretty simple dish with bold and satisfying flavors. The mushrooms were meaty and toothsome without being chewy; the asparagus was crunchy and fresh; the whole was lightly oiled and not greasy. Great: A-

The scallop carpaccio was creamy and crunchy. The scallops were complemented well with avocado and a smidgen of wasabi. On top were some crispy bits-- fried shallots and pine nuts, if I remember correctly. I still think the scallop ceviche at Fofo is top dog in HK, but this is good stuff. B+

Wagyu beef does not impress me. In all likelihood, it's from America or Australia and it's just a cow, sold for more money than it's worth. Also, if you're going to slow cook it until it falls apart, you might as well just use any cow.

Moving on... I liked the empanadas. The exterior was less crispy than I would have desired and the beef inside, though tender and succulent, was pretty subtle and lacked any bold flavor. Even a little salt might have helped. Still, it was good. B-

I more or less had to order the "volcano balls"-- breaded and deep fried albondigas with cheese and spicy tomato sauce. The breading was pretty soggy from the get-go, but the sauce was actually noticeably spicy. The meat and the cheese simply were, and had little in the way of distinctive characteristics. I think they said the cheese was manchego, but there wasn't a bunch of it, and I didn't really notice any piquancy from that direction. Better than merely OK: B-

On the whole I liked the place. Although the things that most stood out to me on the menu were what I thought was weakest in the end, I was completely happy with everything. The small plates were perfectly sized. There was a clear commitment to quality food cooked right, and no desperate manoeuvres that characterize so much of the HK food scene (like ridiculous novelty combinations, exotic ingredients, or punch-you-in-the-face sauces and slatherings).

What's more, the service was great. I mean, there was actually service. They came by and re-filled your glass; they checked up on you to make sure everything was OK; everyone smiled... I almost forgot what city I was in. I thought the music was pretty chill too.

Overall: Good-to-great: A-/B+

Came here on a Saturday night after wandering through LKF and realising that everyone there was either a 30something male expat wearing a blue shirt or a fresh 18-21 year old and wanted to go somewhere a little quieter for a drink with my friend.. We were making our way up to soho when this place caught our eye! I'd driven or walked past it a few times and knew this was a perfect time to try it out! We sat at the bar and were quickly served a cheeky cocktail and food menu! We ordered the churros

We sat at the bar and were quickly served a cheeky cocktail and food menu! 
We ordered the churros and two cocktails.. 

Churros- having grown up with a large number is South American friends I know how these are meant to be. The taste wasn't too far off, more spices would have been great and the chocolate sauce was delectable! However what let me down was the lack of crunch! Churros are meant to be crunchy and crisp on the outside and dense but fluffy in the middle.. All these would have needed was another 30-60 seconds of crunching! However that said they were delicious and I'd happily order them again! 

Strawberry basil daiquiri - capital D licious!!! This was lovely! It wasn't rushed, wasn't slow but was beautiful! Based purely on the cocktails I'd be happy if I was brought here on a date! It was also a decent portion for the 88 dollars!! Loved it! 


Lychee Gin Cocktail - forgot this ones name but it came with rose petals so my friend was sold! It was actually quite lovely! The harshness of the gin was balanced really well with the lychee! Very refreshing! 


Estrella - finally I got a bottle of Estrella, at 55hkd it was pretty stock standard for the area.. But always a tasty beer! 

All in all I really liked the place and would love to come back some time soon! My only issue was that it was a bit tricky to get the service staff to look at uou if you're at the bar as they seem quite mesmerised by the tables! Which I see more as a positive! 

Would I recommend it? Hell yes!

Wanted to eat Spanish Tapas and came across this restaurant in Open Rice with not bad comments.Booked a table and managed to get a spacious one with a view over the kitchen. Staff were nice and helpful and the restaurant wasn't too crowded (a Tuesday evening).Volcano balls highly recommended super yummy!  Pork belly slightly below the quality as I'd hv expected from a nice tapas place (having not much taste just mainly relied on the sea salt and skin not crispy enough). Enjoyed the 30% off disco

Volcano balls highly recommended super yummy!  Pork belly slightly below the quality as I'd hv expected from a nice tapas place (having not much taste just mainly relied on the sea salt and skin not crispy enough). 

Enjoyed the 30% off discount (please check with staff if it is still on) so totally worth it! 

Would go again sometime!  Would be great if the menu can add in certain weekly/daily special items.

又是與HIM的約會,雖然今次地點較為吊腳,約在SOHO區 (甜魔媽媽生前的極愛搵食地!!),不過講真食好野有時真的要花些腳骨力,而其實由香港站走過來都不算遠了。  本來首站午餐的目標是主打法式輕食的La Cabane Wine Bistro,不過小店並不設訂位,人多沒有位,而且店內座位又以高椅為主,老實講不太適合揹著Chloe的甜魔媽媽,以及陀著小吉的文迪媽媽。猶疑一會後,五大兩小決定改去同樣是荷里活道上的Numero 15了;這裡前身是已搬去蘭桂芳的Mesa 15,看食評兩者似乎是姊妹店,不過Numero 15就不設lunch set;未知是否這個原因,抵達之時店內可是空無一人,就給我們包場了!店內樓底極高,裝修型格又有藝術感;雖然大部分都是高椅,不過靠近廚房也有兩張正常檯,成為了是日我們就坐的地方。與上回TAPAGRIA的午餐聚一樣,Numero 15又是吃tapas為主,看來HIM這個組合與tapas都幾有緣!有CEO在,點菜的工夫當然又落在他手上,首先品嚐新出的推介Slow Cooked Egg, Crispy 36-Month Iberico Jaamon, Smoked P

有CEO在,點菜的工夫當然又落在他手上,首先品嚐新出的推介
Slow Cooked Egg, Crispy 36-Month Iberico Jaamon, Smoked Potato Foam ($79)。慢煮的半熟蛋是浸泡在薯仔泡沫之內,吃時先將溫泉蛋搗破,那情景都幾吸引;不過那據稱是Free Range (自由放養) 的半熟蛋蛋味不算香濃,薯仔泡沫又比較淡味,比較突出的點綴是面層的黑毛豬火腿,吃時可以點上麵包。其實要比較的話,甜魔媽媽情願吃淡一點好過吃咸一點,所以也接受得來,見大家都不甚欣賞,就決定整碟接收了!!

接著是非常香噴噴的
Sauteed Prawns with Garlic & Chili ($119),大蝦肉質爽脆對辦,不過在濃濃蒜香下鮮味已給蓋過,而所謂的辣味嘛實在很溫和。如果定價便宜一些,也是道OK的選擇。

接著這款推介的
Bravas ($49) 就不錯了,其實它是經香炸的慢煮薯仔,加上自家製的辣茄醬及蒜泥蛋黃醬而成,成品熱暖酥脆又不油不膩,中間食感則軟糯微甜,加上調味後味道豐富微帶惹味,有種令人停不了口,一件接一件的魅力,很快就給清光了!

Volcano Balls ($99),忘了這價錢是兩件還是三件,總之店方為我們五人特別製作成3+2的組合上檯,頗為細心。其實它是釀有芝士餡的和牛肉丸,經香炸後拌以勁辣茄醬上檯,食感香脆熱辣、和牛肉質細嫩微帶芝味,最難忘是勁辣茄醬的火辣刺激,夠過癮!!

Slow-Cooked Iberio Pork Belly Bun, Kimchi Mayo, Picked Cucumber ($89/2PCS),用上了中式蒸包的外層,令媽媽想起The Night Market的割包,不過這裡的黑毛豬腩稍為瘦一些,給CEO嫌棄吃來實了點,甜魔媽媽就可以接受。撇開肥瘦度的不完美,其實媽媽很喜歡那泡菜沙律醬,帶一點迷人的香辣滋味,襯以新鮮的生菜頗好吃呢!

最後點了十分特別的"Ramen Paella" ($218),大家都知Paella是西班牙海鮮飯,但這裡將飯粒換上類似媽咪麵的脆麵上檯,效果新奇,但講到美味嘛,始終還是飯粒更能吸收海鮮的鮮味。而且這媽咪麵半脆不稔,一筆即散,吃時感覺還真古怪;反而同上的海鮮其實質素不錯,大蝦夠鮮,青口更是嫩口。

This is from the momofuku playbook: Slow-cooked iberico pork belly bun with kimchi mayo and pickled cucumber. The pork belly was melt-in-the-mouth, and paired extremely well with kimchi mayo (kimchi gave the mayo a good kick) and pickled cucumber (much better than plain cucumber). The bun was a bit too thick but had good texture and was useful for the clam juice (below).

You can never really go wrong spicy garlic anything. The spicy garlic clams with amontillado sherry was great. The clams were fresh, all open, and cosy in their cast iron pot, with delicious seafood broth at the bottom, which we drank up.

Hands-down winner of the evening: ** 12-hour confit crispy boneless suckling pig with sauteed apples and pears. ** The skin was SUPER CRISPY and cooked through, when the fatt layer turns into a crumbly layer of umami bomb. The meat was extremely tender, juicy, and hot. The small diced apples and pears accompanied perfectly. I can honestly say that this is the best piece of pig I have ever had. (It's worth noting that others have tried this dish on other days, and said that it was very nice, but not displaying the death-defying greatness of this evening. So whether you get to pig heaven does depend a little on luck).

Squid ink seafood paella. Was too busy eating, forgot to take a photo of the entire pan (which had 1 halved prawn, clams, mussels, squid). The rice was well done, al dente, flavours just right. (We did tell the chef not to make it too salty when we ordered). The seafood was all good, except the mussels - they were thin and tasted muddy.

The calamari was hot and crispy, but the batter could have been a bit thinner (it was absolutely fine but I'm a fan of barely-there wisps of batter).

I don't have a sweet tooth, so can't comment too much. The churros were hot and crispy, passionfruit is a nice addition to white chocolate. The banana toffee parfait was quite good, carefully constructed multi-layered with different flavours and textures (crispy, soft, smooth, chunky etc.).

I would recommend Numero 15 to friends and I would return for dinners with friends and also to try the better value-for-money set lunches.

我們也怕吃得不夠飽,最後也點了一西班牙飯。平底鍋很大,不過飯粒其實只是薄薄的一塊;飯粒煮得十分透徹,不太硬也不太軟,每粒飯也充滿了醬汁的味道。配菜是八爪魚和蘆筍粒,增強了飯的口感。唯一要挑剔的是它的味道略鹹,若果沒有這麼多醬便更好了。

至於甜品方面,我們點了炸麵條 Churros。每條 Churros 也鋪滿了砂糖,咬下去時較甜和脆口。可惜配上的是白朱古力醬加上帶酸的果醬,比較有趣!我還是喜愛傳統的黑朱克力醬多點。

整體而言,Tapas 的水平不錯,每件也是十分精巧的,加上餐廳輕鬆的環境,絕對是跟朋友 chill out 的好去處。

題外話/補充資料: 窩心的是他們可以跟據人數去準備份量,我們一行三人每款便有三件,不用爭,值得一讚!
