A random and lazy afternoon Saturdays lunch. Walk in with a choice of window seats. I ordered the set lunch. Tasty ... handsome waiter (or the boss - hard to tell) asked if the miso soup was too salty. The soup is good - great service ! And chef follow up. 繼續閱讀

This is a relatively quiet place with some interesting takes on japanese / local food. I have been here a couple of times due to a recommendation from a friend. One was for their omakase menu and the other was for their yakitori/skewers.First for the omakase:The menu seems to change depending on the daily fish. What seems to be consistent is the quality of the fish. Apparently, they get their fish shipped daily from tsukiji. The preparation mixes from an authentic to a local experience depending on the dish. The highlight was the sashimi and the stars were the tai and the uni, relatively rare finds for a while, fresh cut Tai and Uni in its shell. Both were top quality. The chef also prepared a soup from the various seafood parts. This was remarkable. It is a complex taste with what seems like a ocean of tastes running through your mouth. The sushi was ok, on par with most Japanese restaurants in the upper middle echelon. Dessert was interesting, not the typical ice cream but a chocolate mountain.Skewers:The yakitori and skewers are super good deals. Well, at least they were when I visited. Their menu (and their prices) seems to change from time to time. Highlight was their take on various items wrapped in chicken skin. As fattening as it sounds, it’s actually not bad at all. The fats and oil were m melted away and you are left with a tangy and crisp blanket covering minced fish, chicken or whatever suits your palate. 前排睇到媒體介紹大坑呢間新開既日本fusion餐廳今日終於試到裡面裝修都幾特別唔同普通日本餐,比人一種好relax既感覺,幾個人食飽+飲酒埋單都只係兩千幾,價錢合理性價比高先黎頭盤日本新鮮空運原條魚既刺身視覺同味覺都非常滿足,食完個刺身之後個魚頭仲可以整埋魚湯,好鮮味刺身拼盤都好正全部都好鮮甜,味道同係日本食無咩分別燒物紐西蘭羊架,靚仔大廚整到個味道剛剛好仲有好多串燒,小食唔記得影相,佢地既串燒整到剛剛好脆卜卜非常值得推薦,回頭率極高既餐廳 繼續閱讀

嚟大坑搵食, 好多次都係食日本菜,因為呢度除咗西餐,有唔少高質素嘅日式小店,而呢個舖位嘅都幫襯過幾次,呢晚再嚟,發現原來轉咗手,睇過食評都唔錯,都係居酒屋嘅風格,行過又有唔少客人,又再嚟試試。食物方面有刺身,壽司,小食,仲有係Bar枱前即制嘅串燒,另有一大個酒櫃,可配埋即切嘅風乾火腿,好啱一大班人嚟飲酒傾計。我吔唔飲酒,都有好幾款Moctails供選擇,揀咗No. 13 Punch,試下有幾特別,原來同Fruit Punch 差不多,整體都好夠fresh。壽司先揀個壽司盛六貫,另散叫咗三件壽司,餐牌上有分六貫/八貫/十二貫,想知係咩就要問店員,佢就會拎個平板電腦過嚟話你知。我吔揀嘅六貫有五件放係竹碟上,仲有一件蝦壽司就同其他散叫嘅用咗另一件碟上,相信呢個應該只係師傅隨心地放得靚靚地。每件壽司都好精緻,好明唔係連鎖店嘅大量生產貨色,飯唔會好易散,刺身亦好新鮮同夠凍。好味嘅刺身令人不得不encore,揀咗三文魚腩五切,一睇就知好夠肥美,亦放得好有心思。五件啱啱好,太多又會太膩。小食方我吔揀咗海膽茶碗蒸,雖然係比較普通嘅菜式,但都食得出佢嘅廚藝,佢其他配料唔多,只有少許蟹柳同肉粒,真正畀你食佢嘅蒸蛋。如果份量多番啲而唔係半碗,應該會更吸引。想食啲菜,諗住叫個沙律食下,揀咗鱈魚乾柚子刺身沙津,有啲期望,點知令人失望,以為係有沙律菜嗰種,雖然個賣相幾特別,但完全冇菜,連柚子都應個只係個汁,冇見到有柚子肉,只係鱈魚乾包住啲刺身,味道係唔錯,但如果餐牌上寫清楚會好啲。另外我吔就揀咗好幾款串燒...........PRIME一口牛:食串燒當然唔可以唔叫牛肉啦,呢個個名仲好似好吸引,加上唔算貴 ($48),仲好夠肉汁,完全係抵食。鹽燒雞皮:我吔向來都唔係雞皮愛好者,但見餐牌上頭五款串燒都係雞皮類,就叫個最簡單試下,果然幾特別,店員仲強調雞皮有不飽和脂肪,係健康食物,食落又真係唔錯,燒嘅過程去除咗多餘嘅油份,食落唔會太油之餘又有啲脆口,真係值得一試。燒茄子:呢個又係比預期中好味,以為佢會係一串兩至三件嘅茄子,厡來係加咗燒汁,芝麻,蔥花,茄子燒到好夠淋,有醬汁之餘又唔會太濃味,好味!芝士白菌:食落似燒白蘑菇加上芝士,以為會有啲似錫紙包住嘅芝士焗白菌,佢嘅白菌燒得好香,但加上芝士感覺上有點唔太夾,也許只係燒白菌會好啲。三文魚鯺:呢個比較少地方有,就算有都只係好小的兩片,但呢度都算多肉,以$18嚟講好抵食,個邊又燒得好夠脆口。讚!燒三文魚頭:呢個係餐牌上冇嘅,我見佢有燒三文魚腩,連三文魚鯺,以佢餐廳嘅格局,冇理由冇燒三文魚頭,就好奇地問下店員,原來係有嘅,三文魚之外,仲有油甘魚等嘅燒魚頭。比較鐘意三文魚頭冇咁油,只係$45半個,就試下。可能係餐牌以外嘅食物,所以就要等下喇,同其他燒物一樣,都燒得唔錯,唔會好油,只係其中一件有啲過鹹,值得等二十分鐘! 繼續閱讀

一大至多年愛日本美食老友,一期一會必找日本美食,由朋友介紹下,尋得no. 13,正!鮮貨方面,選了一條赤羽太,意想不到的美味,這類小型石班魚一向味道較為清雅,但此次竟嚐到豐富濃郁之魚味,實在意想不到,另外師父亦推介另一鮮魚制作刺身,但想賣個關子,魚的樣子雖然怪怪,但實在鮮甜,魚大約斤半重,但只收$ 550,以日本鮮貨來說非常合理。串燒方面,這裏師父的功架十足!無論一口牛,牛小排,凡立貝等等…都調配了匹配的醬汁,把味道發揮至更高層次,更高境界,這次還 order 了 sakai 及日式啤酒,無以尚之! 繼續閱讀
