今晚意想不到小公主不要薯條,要求食Pizza。在街上找找,就在灣仔的些利街上找到一間專門Pizza餐廳名叫 "Motorino" , 同一條街頭上有不少西餐廳,氣氛不錯。"Motorino" 於 2008 年在布魯克林開設,最近Motorino 來港並選址灣仔的些利街上。雖然美國引入餐廳,但室內裝潢卻充滿法國味道。餐廳把整個法黎鐵塔搬進餐廳,法黎鐵塔的壁畫, 法黎鐵塔底部做成餐廳的天花,讓客人有置身法黎鐵塔下用餐的氣氛。餐廳採用半開放式設計,讓客人近距離欣賞廚師製作pizza的過程。當中最注目一定是這個烤爐,全黑色的烤爐再印上 Motorino的名字,非常搶眼。 烤爐用木柴生火,未食pizza 但已經非常辨。"Motorino" 的Menu 只有Pizza 及前菜及甜品作選擇,非常專一。Pizza 只有11款, $98~198,沒有厚批、薄批; 沒有大細尺寸選擇; 沒有芝士邊等花巧選擇。【Cremini mushroom $178】餅底即場做再加入配料,放入特製焗爐90秒就完成。出來的pizza熱烘烘,材料簡單就只有菇。批邊脆口,餅底煙韌鬆軟,質感有些似印度薄餅。【Chicken wings $138】雞全翼四隻,原本是辣的但可以叫餐廳走辣。味道沒有大驚喜,但平均每隻$35的話就覺得物非所值。【Meat balls $128】meat balls 本身味道不太足夠而且質感比較結實不太鬆化。味道沒有大驚喜,但平均每隻$43的話就覺得物非所值。小食種類少而且味道不過不失,但價格定位進取。相比pizza 比較出色,品質佳而且實惠。 繼續閱讀

今天同事生日,我們一行八人去了公司附近的薄餅店慶生。Motorino 開至世界各地,外國同事也説這是香港最好吃的薄餅。餐廳環境很有氣氛,星期五的下午非常熱鬧,所以要預早訂位唷。午市套餐較掋吃,$128 包括一個前菜、薄餅。加 $10 還有汽水。午餐的薄餅 Size 跟晚市一樣,所以真的很掋食唷!粟米和沙律也很高質,特别是粟米,有點墨西哥風似的,很惹味。我們也是點了很多薄餅 Share,大大塊餅底又薄又脆,不經不覺我也把整個薄餅吃掉了!整體所有 Pizza 也非常好味,喜歡芝士的可選 Quattro Formaggi ($178),是一個素食薄餅,有四種芝士在內,但我就覺得單調和有點膩。我就喜歡辣肉腸,其次便是蕃茄醬margherita,很新鮮開胃。有同事另外點了個雞翼小食,外面燒得香脆,內裡嫩滑多汁。伴上香草檸檬汁,酸酸的嘅清新又開胃。吃得興起時經理還送上意大利酒 Limoncello,真是驚喜!生日就當然要點個 Tiramisu ($68) 慶祝了。原來份量也頗大,蛋糕軟腍好味道。 繼續閱讀

是日team lunch,同事提議位於船街嘅Motorino。由於冇得訂位,所以我地提早12:30起行。到達時餐廳已經半滿。一坐低就被前方烤爐吸引。望住師傅轉餅皮,放Pizza入爐再拎番出黎。令我諗起以前好鐘意玩嘅Cooking Mama🙊望住唔算多選擇嘅菜單,我地決定要兩個Lunch Set 再加一個Pizza。Pizza - Margherita, Bacon and Corn, Cremini Mushroom (另點)Side - Roasted Sweet Corn, Chopped Salad個烤粟米好香甜,加埋辣醬又另有一番風味。但其實咩都唔駛加已經好好食。唔好睇佢側邊好似好濃,但其實佢一啲都唔乾👍🏻chopped salad非常新鮮加上Balsamic dressing令人開胃 面頭個一片Prosciutto亦唔會過咸,配上沙律恰到好處。兩個跟餐Pizza竟然同另外點一樣大細,lunch set比單點抵好多Pizza全體黎講比較鬆軟,芝士量不少。同以前試過其他薄餅餐廳比較,我都幾喜歡佢地嘅口感。只少唔係乾到要你不斷灌水三個Pizza各有好與壞Bacon and Corn其實呢個應該係最保守,但佢偏偏加左幾塊薄荷葉令到個味道有D衝擊....咁當然我係可以拎走片薄荷葉嘅~ 但我諗佢放得落去實有佢原因嘛🙈🤣另一保守Pizza - Margherita... 本人極愛Margherita,但呢個反而令我有少少失望... Mozzarella 量偏少,醬汁亦唔算勻均。🤦🏻‍♀️Cremini Mushroom爆多菇同蒜片,呢款Pizza冇醬汁但都唔係覺得好乾。反而個Italian Sausage我唔係好識欣賞..佢個顏色同質感都令我覺得佢唔係好熟。😶其實一個餐份量都算多,所以如果2個女仔去的話同朋友分享一個餐再加一兩個小食都夠哂  繼續閱讀

a friend booked the whole restaurant for the afternoon during a week day for a bunch of kids to have a birthday party, was super fun as they learned how to make pizza, and had a live magic performance inside as well. the staff were all extremely nice and accommodating, the chef was very nice and patient with the kids, would certainly go back again! 繼續閱讀

My friends were craving for pizza and they told me about this place that makes the dough from scratch, and has an actual oven to bake the pizza in. So I thought I'd give it a shot. So far, it wasn't a great start as the server served my wine in a dirty wine glass, so he had to give me a new glass of Chardonnay white whine. I first had their special salad, which was their grilled mortadella salad. I also asked for a mozzarella cheese as well. Though it was good, the salad definitely needed the mozzarella cheese or the whole salad would be heavy, oily and salty, which made me question why did they not just include the cheese on the salad rather than having it as an extra for the customer to pay more money?I ordered their margherita pizza. I've margherita pizza in the US and it was delicious, so I hoped it would live to its expectations. I also had the best pizza in Toronto, so I hoped I would get the same experience. Once I got the pizza, it was very hard for my knife to cut through the crust, even though the crust was a thick crust and it was cook perfectly. Once I bite into the pizza, the dough was not right at all. The dough was tough and I felt like I had to work extra hard to chew the pizza. There was more dough flavour than the margherita flavour. I also felt there was not much flavour in the margherita topping either. When I tried my friend's spinach and scamorza pizza, which was a white sauce base, even though she asked for a red sauce base, there was no flavour at all. She requested the red chili oil for the flavour, but when I added the oil, all I could taste was the chili oil and not the pizza itself. The pizza was very bland and no seasoning was added.Lastly, my friend ordered a tiramisu. I tried a spoonful of the tiramisu to see what it was like, and I noticed there were no lady fingers, instead they used a cake to replace the lady fingers. I was not happy with it, even though the flavour was good, it was not a tiramisu.Even though the place is known for making their own pasta dough and having its own pizza oven, I felt that their execution of making the dough was not there, and they need to work on adding flavour and seasoning on the toppings.
