Long time no eat Thai cuisine. Done some research on openrice and found this place with quite a number of good comments. Although it was quite a small restaurant, the interior decoration was pleasant and modern while seating was reasonably comfortable despite the fact that it was full house on a Friday afternoon! We decided to order two Premium Lunch sets plus Thai Style Salad Bar with Shark Fin Soup in Clay Pot. There were quite a lot of choices of mains.I think the choice of food at the salad bar was reasonably sufficient. Choices included 青木瓜沙律,泰式無骨鳳爪沙律,香辣豬肉碎生菜包,肉碎茄子沙律which you could see on this photo. They were ok except for the chicken claws which were quite tasteless and not soft enough. Other choices not in the picture included 蝦餅, Deep Fried Eggs Salad Tradition Thai Style (which was not so good as the eggs were too dried), and some cooked vegetables with some oil but not overly oily. They were of reasonable but unfortunately not particularly outstanding quality to fill up your stomach! There were two choices of soup at the salad bar. The Tom Yum Vegetable Soup was real vegetable soup with no prawn/meat which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise the taste was ok but obviously with a lower degree of spiciness to cater for the preference of Hong Kong people. This soup was better than expected with 香茜, 皮蛋 and pork because it was very clear and more healthy so offered a good balance to the spicy and deep fried Thai food.Here you go the signature shark fin soup! They were so hot when served. There were really quite some real shark fin and loads of crab meat. The Chinese mushroom in the soup was very smooth. It was a very good soup which was better than those served at many Chinese restaurants! Highly recommended! I just added some 香茜 and 芽菜 to give it a little bit of texture after the first few sips without adding anything to the soup. I didn't try the vinegar or the green spicy sauce as the soup itself was good enough.This was one of the mains we ordered. These were really freshly deep fried soft shell crabs in really appetizing chilli paste. The soft shell crabs were so big! The chilli paste was just slightly chilli and tasted really good. Highly recommended too!This was another mains we ordered. We were told that Phanang curry was made of coconut milk and I liked it as it was slightly sweet. There were loads of beef briskets but not all were tender enough. That said, this dish definitely was a pass and was above average after considering the curry.These naan were all you can eat at the salad bar. Unfortunately I couldn't really tell the difference between the two because the garlic naan was not good enough. They went along really well with the chilli paste and curry from the mains. But when i took more for the second round it became too hard already.The 蝦餅 were not refilled after the first round and they served vegetable spring rolls instead. They were really freshly deep fried but there was nothing special. I think there was not enough ingredients. The sweet and sour sauce tasted good though.There was only 1 type of fruits but 2 types of Thai desserts to choose from at the salad bar. Water melons were cold enough and were good to balance the spicy and deep fried Thai food. The desserts were not worth trying because they were both tasteless. You couldn't tell what you had eaten after eating...A drink was included in the set. Both of us ordered iced Thai-style milk tea. Not particularly outstanding. In conclusion, the shark fin soup was really signature and the mains were quite good, while the salad bar was reasonably ok to fill your stomach. Service was nice too. Would definitely recommend this place for some good Thai food. 繼續閱讀

今日舊同事約我食飯於是我們去了上環一間泰國菜館這間泰國菜館是在holiday inn 酒店裏面的。環境都很不錯格調高雅,燈光柔和,我們選擇了戶外的的座位,坐得都很寬敞舒服。招牌煲仔翅 (一人份量)大大舊既魚翅呀。冬陰公湯 (一人份量)味道酸酸辣辣好開胃,真材實料有什菌,蝦及香料。特色拼盤 (魚餅,雜菜春卷,豬頸肉,蝦餅,雞翼) 有三個醬配這個特色拼盤沾來吃。香茅辣椒炒雞河粉,香茅辣椒炒得好惹味,河粉好滑。蝦醬炒通菜,比較重味左小小,不過都ok。泰式香茅茶, 香茅味好濃。 繼續閱讀

今個晚上又做無飯煮婦,就在老公的工作地方附近吃點東西吧!想食泰菜,OpenRice一下之下找到這家,當晚六時左右致電餐廳訂枱,他們說只有戶外,當晚只得14度,我說算了。可惜我倆仍想不到到那裡吃,就直接上餐廳碰碰運氣吧! 怎料,原來他們說所謂的Full了是這樣的,而戶外又不是我想像中的那麽差,不過算了吧,我們雖然只得兩人,卻被安排了四人座位,坐得舒服,餐廳不算很大,勝在格調高雅。 天氣寒冷,最適合飲熱湯,椰汁鷄湯($108),有四碗左右,店員為我們分碗上,服務不錯,此湯椰汁味濃,雞肉則鮮度未夠,其他配料如菇類都很足料,整個湯的味道不錯。 豬頸肉炒粉絲($228),非常足料,可供四至五人份享用,以很多泰國香料製作,惹味非常,但略嫌咸了點,另外豬頸肉爽口彈牙,老公似乎很喜愛,嚷著要帶家人來試。 青咖喱雞($128)配原味烤餅($58),青咖喱味道做到水準,雞肉亦是同一個問題,鮮味遜色了點,這道菜不太辣,加上烤餅佐吃,鬆脆無比! 由於要解渴,點了兩客椰青($58/個),味道清甜非常,尤其當吃罷濃味食物,椰肉又香又滑,不用點甜品了,再說我倆亦很飽了。 吃到後期才發現這家是米芝蓮餐廳,難怪食物的調味甚有功架,奈何回家後仍覺口渴,整體的餐飲體驗仍是不錯的,可以再來。 繼續閱讀

今晚和好朋友食泰國餐,之前朋友食過這間餐廳,今次隆重推介給我們環境優雅舒服餐廳系在酒店內,有好多遊客過來食晚餐這個沙律好食,茄子好爽,豬肉碎好惹味,大蝦彈牙爽口,但有少少辣豬肉,雞肉串燒都燒得好香,肉質滋味豬頸肉燒得好味,咬一口,外脆內軟這隻蟹真好味,多肉多膏,食不停啊好多蟹膏啊,滿足晒薄餅沾些冬陰醬汁,超級好食菜炒得好香,蒜蓉帶出香味每次都飲1664,cheer🎉好香蝴蝶花味,加块檸檬更清新桂圓好香甜,完全蓋住羅漢果果陣難聞味道馬家開飯節目原來有推介過這間餐廳 繼續閱讀

中午吃set lunch,包括Salad bar自助同一個main。自助沙律吧嘅前菜幾齊,包括幾個係menu到的前菜,冬陰功菜湯,白飯,印度餅,西瓜同茶加奶。冬陰功菜湯同個豬肉碎包生菜非常讚,但豬肉碎稍為有D辣,要食得辣嘅朋友先好挑戰。主菜叫做個青咖喱牛腩同個豬頸肉金邊粉,都非常之好食,而且份量好足。牛腩肥瘦剛好,青咖喱不辣,味道調得不錯;金邊粉甜甜地炒得非常好食。總括而言冇嘢好彈,服務也很不錯同埋好快 繼續閱讀
