聽朋友講將軍澳中心重新裝修之後多咗好多美食餐廳,星期日放假同朋友去食lunch之後行街,見到呢間裝修好特別嘅西式餐廳,就決定喺度食lunch~餐廳以深藍色x白色為裝潢主題,整體感覺令我聯想起卡通大力水手🤣除咗單點之外仲,有非常抵食嘅lunch set,仲有比較特別的嘅Cake Set~Lunch set價錢非常實惠,由$80至$100左右已經包括左餐湯、飲品,亦可以加錢升級為特色飲品~呢度餐前並唔係麵包,而係黑松露墨西哥片,好豪華,黑松露份量都幾多,墨西哥片脆卜卜~是有餐湯係椰菜忌廉湯,口感幼滑煮食選擇左澳洲草飼肉眼8安士/五成熟,大大塊分量十足,冇用太多嘅調味,保留左原汁原味,肉質幼嫩~配菜有沙律同芝士三個粟米片~另外一個點左呢Moo特製澳洲和牛漢堡包/五成熟,中間漢堡扒厚厚一塊,咬落非常juice~夾埋芝士、番茄、菜、麵包一口咬落去,非常滿足~呢度嘅飲品都非常之有特色,我哋點左火龍果香蕉奶昔同埋Oreo沙冰,非常推介火龍果香蕉奶昔,天然有機,好Fresh,冇加糖味道唔會太甜~ 繼續閱讀

將軍澳中心最近翻新重開,有不少新食店進駐,而當中有間主打牛肉菜式的【Moo Beef Cafe】外型非常耀眼。餐廳有別於一般扒房的幽暗環境,這裡反傳統以白色為主調,白色的牆身配上柔和燈光,讓人感覺明亮舒適,走年輕時尚風格設計。【Moo Beef Café】走年輕時尚風格,自家設計了一家牛仔主角的icon,這家人的嘜頭出現於餐廳每個角落,令人印象深刻。叫得【Moo Beef Cafe】,餐牌中當然有不少牛的菜式。 招牌菜有牛扒三文治、流心濃湯牛角包、威靈頓……等。【Moo Beef Cafe】以牛為主,當然要點份牛扒。餐廳有五款推介牛扒,tender 、rib eye、sirloin、tenderloin and flat iron。 食牛扒通常都會揀肉眼或者西冷,近年卻流行一個冷門選擇 flat iron。flat iron 在牛肩胛骨附近,肉質柔軟程度拍得住牛柳,但因為中間有一條筋膜,所以一直被忽視。之前在其他扒房食過 flat iron,味道的確吸引,所以今次就揀了 【US Flat Iron $188】。表面做不到微脆效果,煎得過火令表面太過乾身。表面不尋常的灑滿黑椒粒,咬下去這個flat iron 牛酥味異常地強烈,店方可能為了辟去這味道才在表面上灑滿黑椒粒,不過效果不大。筆者本身對羊酥、魚腥的接受程度頗大,但這個flat iron 牛酥味筆者非常抗拒加上中間於紅色的肉色令筆者有些反胃。另外肉質嚡口又韌……雖然用的不是USA Prime....但沒有理由那麼差……【House burger 6oz $78】現在的burger 都比較豐富,肉厚餡料多又誇張。這個house burger 以為有驚喜,點知呈上的burger 外表平平無奇,burger內也沒有豐富的配菜。Burger厚度約在1厘米,這厚度才是傳統的burger 厚度薄。可惜burger 表面乾身,明顯肉質肥瘦比例偏瘦,脂肪不多因此不能滲到肉內,入口沒有juicy效果。另外入口肉質太散而且不太滑,不太吸引。叫得house burger 以為有驚喜,點知這個burger 外表平平無奇,burger內也沒有豐富的配菜。【南瓜露筍意大利飯 $88】這個金黃色的意大利飯顏色吸引,加上少許點綴錦上添花。意大利飯當然要用 Arborio rice, 意大利飯的質感是軟稔中帶點煙韌,吃下去的感覺與普通白飯不同。可惜這個意大利飯沒有煙韌口感,令外不太creamy不似正宗意大利飯。意大利飯味道帶甜,飯內有露筍粒,但南瓜就不太見到。店員指示筆者可以用barcode 下單,但筆者詢問有關菜式問題又需要走一些餡料及醬汁於是要求店員下單,時客人不多但店員表現出一副不高興表情……服務態度不太友善。食物質素又沒有大驚喜,只有餐廳裝潢比較吸引外,沒有什麼原因要再次幫襯! 繼續閱讀

MOOBeef Café位於將軍澳中心一樓走到商場的盡頭便到,路痴方向感差的朋友可於沿途查看水牌便輕易到達,平日來Café 人流較靜, 可慢慢欣賞Café內的環境,擁有一個寧靜的空間享受美食,簡潔的線條設計加上桌上燈,好適合中意打卡既朋友來朝聖。而Menu的設計也十分用心利用可愛的卡通頁頭像令Menu更生動活潑 🥳安格斯牛扒三文治 $128安格斯牛扒和三文治搭配起來, 口感十足,安格斯牛的肉質豐富 唔會好韌之餘三文治中間的醬料酸中帶甜非常MATCH🥰MOO特製澳洲和牛漢堡包(五成熟) $118和牛的肉質鮮嫩,好juice和牛可選擇五成熟 or 七成熟 而我比較偏向入口鮮嫩的和牛 所以揀左五成熟口感滑溜,係唔錯的選擇喔~😚雜錦莓莓搖擺 $45以簿荷葉和藍莓做襯托出夏日清新的感覺,雜錦的莓果以新鮮果肉打碎和yogurt 柔軟的酸甜yogurt 係口中慢慢溶解,有透心涼的口感😳牛油果香蕉蘋果奶昔 $38相比之下 牛油果香蕉蘋果奶昔好fresh 全天然有機,無加糖分非常健康 👍🏻Lena 秘製雞翼(6只) $56廚師在烹飪雞翼的時候留意到客人可能食雞翼時拆雞骨的困難,先把雞骨斬開方便客人食用,廚師很細心,加分~而雞翼新鮮味道濃淡適中 繼續閱讀

Met a friend for dinner in the Tseung Kwan O area as she lives there. We decided to try out one of the new restaurants that opened in Park Central. As she doesn't like Chinese food, we chose Moo Beef Cafe. The design of the restaurant was very hip. White and blue with all sorts of Moo mottos.Menu is in English and Chinese. Apparently they focus on steak and beef. Ordering is by scanning a QR code which will lead you to their menu page for ordering. I don't know if it was my connection, but it was SUPER slow. We decided to share our food.This is the Moo Beef Platter ($128). From left to right: mozzarella rice balls, mini burger, mini beef wellington. Yes, that atrocious thing on the right is a beef wellington. It was horrific. A chewy, under cooked piece of puff pastry, few bits of mushroom (or their attempt at a duxelle) and one piece of beef (that was surprisingly medium rare but then since the puff pastry was under cooked, that is probably how they got it to be medium rare). I almost wanted to do a complete Gordon Ramsay and toss that "beef wellington" (and yes, I put this in quotes because it is NOT a beef wellington) back into the kitchen. The mozzarella rice balls were just rice with ketchup, rolled into a ball. There was NO cheese in it. The only good thing was the burger! A bit too salty but at least it was acceptable. And also medium rare.Moo Super Salad ($68) was one of the saddest salads I've ever encountered (not including the free ones that come with a lunch or dinner set). It was literally just lettuce, a few pieces of cherry tomato and a sprinkle of quinoa as if it was a topping. I have no idea where the "super" comes in but it definitely was underwhelming.Lena Chicken Wings  ($56) were ok. A tiny bit spicy but not overly so that I couldn't eat it. The meat was moist and not over cooked.8 oz Australian Rib Eye  ($158). Added $42 for a soup and dessert which my friend did. The soup was a daily corn soup and the dessert was chocolate cake but after a few bites my friend said it was actually a brownie cut like a cake.  The rib eye was requested to be a medium rare and it was a bit on the rare side. I am fine with it even if the blood was coloring up my plate.  It said "juicy, meaty and awesome" on the menu. I definitely wasn't feeling this. The steak also wasn't seasoned so the gravy was definitely needed. The worst of all? The "nachos". Again I put these in quotes as these were not nachos. Just some overly oily, hard tortillas with only two of them covered in hardened cheese.  Even my friend didn't understand the purpose of this. Why couldn't they just provide fries or mash potato? Why plate it up with this sad looking item?Slow Cooked Red Wine Beef Cheeks ($128) was the other main we chose. This was actually alright. The beef cheeks were moist and tender. The sauce was fine. The mash potatoes were ok but not creamy enough. A bit too starchy for my taste. The vegetables were a sadly small portion but at least they tasted ok.I've been to some pretty bad restaurants in my time, but this one? This one is high up on my list of no return. Sad really as the design is quite fun, chic and inviting. But the food? For a place that is geared for beef, this is probably the worst I've ever had. Several items were a complete fail.
