不經不覺,Mesa 15在香港已經開業六個年頭。

Mesa是西班牙語,有餐枱之意。食店曾經遷址一次,當年舊舖位處荷李活道15號,15之名大抵也是因此而來。

中環地舖舖租昂貴,食店也不得不苦思經營對策,經營兩年後遷址到現在的樓上舖。

不知是湊巧還是食店老闆在重新選址上的用心良苦,新店位於蘭桂坊15號,食店名字得以保留,逃過易名的厄運。

至於當年的舊址,印象中已經易手數次。檔次從fine dining慢慢降格至茶餐廳放題。不過最後也捱不過租金敗走收場,不知現在仍是空置與否。

雖然網上有關食店的食文不多,但食店能夠經營超過六年,自當有過人之處。是夜便與仮面J到來一探其西班牙菜的功夫。

甫出電梯口,立時看見一道顏包奪目的牆上漆畫,輕鬆跳脱的風格。

不過走入店內,卻又換上截然不同的感覺。用了大量雲石設計,簡約得來亦顯高級格調,回歸fine dining的路線。

店內環境不算很大,不過放上的餐桌也不是很多,餐桌之間留有足夠空間。不過始終樓底所限,若果遇上不太注重餐飲禮儀而放聲說話的客人,聲浪的滋擾將會是無可避免。

餐牌有單點及五道菜Set dinner的選擇。到來之前原先打算使用Entertainer main course 買一送一的優惠,但仔細閱讀餐牌後發覺Set dinner無論是Tapas 或 main course 的項目選擇都比單點餐牌為多。

再者,若以每位四佰多元的價錢,點選Set dinner已經可以吃到餐前小吃、餐湯、三款Tapas 、主菜及甜品,性價比已甚高,相比之下 Entertainer 買一送一的 offer 不是擁有絕對的優勢。

跟仮面J思量過後,最後還是決定點選Set dinner。

餐前小吃首先迎賓上桌。餐前小吃是一塊蟹肉多士,薄脆多士上面的舖著的是滿滿的一團肉醬,當中混有蟹肉、魚肉及香草,味道可口富層次感。

米白色餐湯就像一幅白色畫布,藝術家可以隨心在畫布上繪畫。上桌時縱横有緻的塗鴉,為平白的湯品配上不一樣的賣相。

餐湯暖度適中,豆味香濃,每口湯都因隨性的seasonings配搭而帶出微妙的變化。偶爾會嚐到小片黑毛豬火腿,亦為豆湯帶來陣陣鹹香,做得出色。

最後不得不一讚厨房內的大厨與副手。該晚整間食店的大部份菜式基本上都是由二人一手包辦煮理。要同時烹製招待這麽多客人,除了烹飪技術,時間的管理也要控制得好。二人分工有序,顯見默契。

以五佰多的價錢,能夠有酒相伴,亦能品嚐多款稱意的特色菜式,實是非常相宜。其實食店還有一些招牌主菜,不過都不在套餐內提供。肯恩下次再來, 應該會一嚐單點菜牌內的菜式。

由於係見到燒豬個道菜時, 某人覺得份量有啲少驚食唔飽, 於是落多咗個飯, 但最後發覺係叫得太多...食唔晒..但呢個飯好好味, 所以打包, 攞返家中做消夜...嘻嘻
呢個飯一上到黎已經好香, 飯粒已吸晒啲肉味, 乾身而且食落飯粒質感煙韌有嚼勁, 再加上西班牙肉腸味濃油花香口, 雖然已經好飽, 但我地2個人都將呢一盤消化咗4分之3架!

I love this place and have been there several times. You can always find really well done Spanish food and feel very comfortable (not a noisy place at all, nice ambient...).I recommend specially the 36-month bellota ham (duly thinly cut), the suckling pig, the octopus (now a bit different, but better) and their amazing rices.Last time I went, I had the opportunity to try some new dishes and, believe me, if there's something you shouldn't miss is the pork-feet rice with foie (recently launched).

Last time I went, I had the opportunity to try some new dishes and, believe me, if there's something you shouldn't miss is the pork-feet rice with foie (recently launched). Really yummy.

As spaniard, I adore the wine selection they have, and can say prices are quite reasonable.

My dad picked this place for his birthday celebration...We got here at 7:30pm and it was not too busy probably because it's a weekday. We started off with the 36-month bellota ham which was nicely plated and served with toaste with tomatoes puree..very tasty and not too salty...


then we ordered the octopus which you can see the chef's effort in appealing to your appetite with its colorful decoration and it tasted really good.

we also had the slow cooked egg with black truffle and cauliflower foam...was a very good mix of tasty...very sophisticated dish

the giant scallps on salad was just superb...very generous dish and delicious

the red prawns with lobster sauce is really good too and i particularly like the little spice they added in the sauce

next we had the lobster paella which was unfortunately a little disappointing...the lobster was pretty sizable and good for sharing but the rice was rather bland

the suckling pig had to be my most favorite of the night and definitely one of the best i had..the crust was very crispy and you feel the tender meat melt in your mouth.

the seafood platter in a pot was nothing surprising so i wouldn't recommend it

we had the warm chocolate cake with coffee ice cream which was very good too

overall a very pleasant dinner...will come back again

話說回來, 本人是超級喜愛這一小杯的南瓜湯--說是我飲過最好飲的也不過份。質地非常柔滑, 濃而不杰, 南瓜的清甜非常突出。加入了切成碎粒的pancetta 增加咸香, 好喝得沒話說! (第二次來的時候恰恰有同行朋友不吃南瓜, 小妹就可以喝兩杯!! 太幸福了!)

前菜之中最吸眼的就是這一份55分鐘慢煮蛋。慢煮蛋喎, 想不出有甚麼人會不喜歡呀。比較特別的是Mesa15的慢煮蛋是放在翠綠色的蘆筍蓉之上, 顏色讓人讚嘆不已! 蘆筍蓉非常的柔滑, 帶蘆筍獨特的青香, 非常的好吃。黑色的魚子醬除了名貴之外也添加了咸香, 也是一絕。

本來以為會見到幾款的香腸, 但結果只有一小片無疑是讓人覺得大受打擊, 由其是有「55分鐘慢煮蛋」的珠玉在前。味道近似中式臘腸, 好不好吃就很看你個人的喜好。不過, 那個豆子非常的好吃, 又軟熟又入味, 糯糯地入口吃來香得不似素。那個湯一定有甚麼橋妙吧! 煮豆子把分數都挽回來了, 很厲害呢。

好吧, 我承認「醬汁」一定是Mesa15的強項。要不怎會每道醬汁都那麼的好吃? 這個青口的醬是以蕃茄作底, 不過很鮮香, 微杰, 和青口肉同吃簡直讓人欲罷不能。過後碟內有少量醬汁剩下, 幾乎想問店家有沒有麵包可以給我「抹碗」把它們都沾著吃了? 那麼好吃, 一滴都不想浪費呀!

這是一個看了名字以後想像不到樣子的前菜。雖然樣子普通但整體很清新, 中意在沙律之中混入洋蔥絲, 味道就不會單調乏味了。雞肉粒反而變成了一個陪襯品。

主菜也沒有讓我們失望。先來一份Iberian豬肩肉, 肉質滑軟富豬香, 煮得剛剛熟, 肉質不乾不硬, 非常的好吃! 因為是同行朋友點的也不好意思一直吃人家的。但我是覺得, 雖然配的蘑菇也很不錯, 但整個菜沒有澱粉質, 別說男生, 女生也可能會吃不飽呢。配個薯菜會不會好一點呢?

既然是招牌, 味道當然也不會差。討了一小塊鴨胸肉吃, 比豬肩肉更令人覺得拍案叫絕。雖然肉色呈粉紅, 比較生一點, 但是那淡淡的鴨騷味配那種軟綿綿的質感, 是我吃過的鴨胸肉之中最好吃的。

然後就盼到了我點的大蝦扁意粉。本來心入面嘀咕它沒有其他食物來得有特色, 但當它上桌時我就知道自己揀對了: 不必深呼吸都可以聞到濃香的蝦汁! 入口甜鮮, 迷你虎蝦也是一點都不迷你。足料好吃, 令人大滿足。

可惜的是當我們第二次造訪時, 醬汁的水準是明顯的下降了。蝦香較淡, 質地也較稀, 令大家都覺得意外又失望。

鱸魚是我第二次來時吃的主菜。雖然沒有大蝦意粉來得令人驚喜, 但味道相當不錯。肉質尚可未及滑口, 底下的海鮮湯煮得香甜, 一起吃來也是滋味無窮。

Mesa15的芝士蛋糕質地有趣, 沒有常見的硬實, 也沒有tiramisu的柔軟。口感是介乎兩者的中間。綿軟綿軟的, 芝士味不濃卻因為粘稠稠的, 會帶來一定的滯膩感。幸好配上的青蘋果蓉清香甜美, 平衡一下, 整體飽足又好吃。第二次就換上了士多啤梨芝士蛋糕, 樣子也很算漂亮呢。只是論特色的話似乎是青蘋果的版本更勝一籌了。

而這個yogurt foam 在外表上已經可以看得出第一次和第二次有很大的分別。同事說第一次要好吃很多, 因為berries的汁比較足, yogurt口感也比較好。而我是第二次到訪時才真正地吃這個甜品。我會覺得打成泡沬的yogurt非常有趣, 似是吃份子料理。莓果汁微甜, 配乳酪的酸味真的很棒。不過那幾片的粟米片, 就有點強差人意了。

小妹覺得第一次來Mesa15 所吃的東西都超值完成, 成品令人驚奇又好吃, 非常吸引人再回頭。不過第二次來, 覺得那種亮點已經失去了。食物還好, 但未好到令人想介紹出去, 或是來多吃幾次。原因還是在於廚房之內, 因為看得到廚房班子是不同的人...! 即是說來這裡吃飯, 還要看彩數嗎? 平均兩次用饍的分數還是值得給個笑臉, 但就不可以入我的心水餐廳list了!

Loving it.

Setting - appropriately lit not too bright nor too dim. Generously spacious with only 12 tables of different sizes spread out. Good ambience.

- Amuse bouche: Russian potatoes salad. Mushy potatoes salad on a crispy cracker. Nice start to a delightful dinner.
- 36 months Bellota ham: good aroma, complex on the palate. Tender pieces of goodness.
- Grilled XL scallops on celeriac purée and greens: great orchestral coordination among the ingredients. I especially liked the smokey taste of the celeriac purée coupled with a bit of spiciness with chilli added.
-63c slow cooked egg: the aroma of the black truffle was attacking my nose at this distance when I was taking the pic. We enjoyed the dish by scooping the combination of the flowing egg yolk, black truffle and cauliflower foam with the crispy bruschetta. Divine.
-Red prawns: perfectly cooked with a hint of spiciness in the sauce. Thank them for the bread that comes with it so we could lick the plate clean.
-Calamari tagliatelle: a refreshing unconventional dish. Calamari is made into curly pieces resembling tagliatelle. Combined with strings of leek, celery and zucchini in a sherry base sauce, was just nice to give our palates a break from the stronger taste of the red prawns served previously.
-Pork ribs and red prawn paella: sizzling hot served in a pan. Just rightly done like how paella should be. Tasty.
- Dessert - banana and dark rum tarte tatin: crispy with distinct taste of banana but I couldn't taste any rum.

Beverages - they offer a decent wine list with choices ranging from the basic Rioja to the more exquisite Ribera del Duero. We ordered respectively 1 white and 1 red by-the-glass wines, respectively a Rueda and a Rioja, each to pair with the various dishes as they were served, and each went really well with the respective dishes that they should pair with.

Service - great service. Staff was attentive and food came on a well paced rhythm allowing sufficient time between each dish for us to fully appreciate every single one of them.

Price - $1,000 per head including 2 glasses of wine is a good deal for a good and leisure dinner.

前菜試了兩款,第一道菜是 French Bouchat mussels "ajillo" (chili, garlic, Manzanilla sherry)。菜式用上法國的青口,品種屬驕小型,肉質十分嫩滑,味道鮮甜。醬汁洋溢芬芳的酒香,力度恰到好處,其中又夾雜惹味的蒜香,可謂清雅熱情兼備。第二道菜是 63c slow-cooked egg, cauliflower cream, crispy Iberico ham,慢煮流心蛋,蛋汁豐盈可口,配上的椰菜花忌廉汁更是一絕,和湯品一樣,口感十分滑溜,椰菜花香自然突出,和蛋汁伴和吃食味亦十分匹配。菜式加上一小塊薄脆西班牙火腿,味道鹹香得來又不霸道,脆口味佳。多配一小件脆多士,方便蘸上香滑蛋汁菜汁吃,食法更豐富。

主菜同樣淺嚐了兩道,其一是 Mary Montana rice: Iberico pancetta, mini tiger prawns, alioli ,飯品和其他菜式一樣,賣相同樣花了功夫。飯粒質感煙韌富嚼勁,掛上的醬汁鹹香帶微酸。餸料西班牙火腿味濃油花香口。虎蝦肉質結實彈牙,蝦香甜美。另一道主菜 Grilled marinated Spanish Duroc pork chop, deep fried slow-cooked potatoes, Dijon-mayo,需另追加$30選上。用上的豬扒肉厚吸引,烤煮時間剛好僅熟,切開肉色微微粉嫩,口感仍保鬆軟,豬香濃郁。配上的薯角外皮微焦帶脆,薯心粉甜,味道同樣比預期佳。

甜品 Flan, Alphonso mango puree,口感幼滑實在,蛋香足。甜品甜度其實不算低,但配上酸香的芒果醬蓉正好帶來合適的平衡感。再放上一粒紅莓,更有點睛去膩之效。最後來一杯即磨咖啡,口味剛烈,苦澀味重,多加暖奶味道更合心。

This was where our lunch club of four began: and what a wonderful beginning it was! You never know what you're going to get when you're trying a new restaurant, but thankfully this time it was nothing but wonderful. The setting: The new location of MESA15 is at a building in Lan Kwai Fong, on the bright and naturally-lit 6th floor. Your view isn't fantastic, but you get a generous view of the environs. When I came in it was not busy at all - only a couple of tables were occupied. That's shocking

The setting: The new location of MESA15 is at a building in Lan Kwai Fong, on the bright and naturally-lit 6th floor. Your view isn't fantastic, but you get a generous view of the environs.

When I came in it was not busy at all - only a couple of tables were occupied. That's shocking because usually lunch in the area is ridiculously crowded. I'm sure the business here will pick up though because the food is perfecto! And besides, why would I complain? You rarely get your own breathing space in HK and here it was like our own private luxury dining room...

Price: A steeper-than-usual price of HK$198 for the lunch set. But trust me, it's worth it!

Service: Very decent, respectful, friendly foreign servers. I think we had a latino.

For me this was the best dish. Like a paella, full flavoured and rich. Hot and heartwarming. The duck rice was replaced by pork belly when I went though, and it was still very good - a great combination of rice and meat, didn't feel like I was missing something.

This was the only mediocre dish of the meal. Our expectations were so high though because the description sounded so good. You're better off ordering the duck rice/risotto.

This dessert haunts me to this day. It was so good I can't forget about it. I would return JUST for this, because it was so damn good. The textures (crispy, smooth) mixed so well, the caramel was heavenly, and the pears so fresh. And the YOGURT. I could have eaten 3 of those in one sitting. DESSERT PERFECTION.

Would I/we come back? That would be a resounding YES!

This time my friend and I just reconnect because of food.I find it particularly hard to impress a foodie so I did my research, provided 2 lunch options and leave the final decision in his hands. I find it particularly hard to impress a foodie so I did my research, provided 2 lunch options and leave the final decision in his hands. As I scrolled down the list on openrice, I spotted 2 unfamiliar names. Mayta and Mesa 15. Mayta is serving Peruvian food while Mesa 15 is for Spanish. My friend picked Mesa 15 and I somehow mixed up the name with the cuisine they serve. Both restaurants are in the same building. Luckily I didn’t book the wrong one.

Appetizer - Green peas cream with croutons: As we weren’t given an option to pick from I wasn’t paying much attend as to what exactly it is. Friend dived in first and said, “Oh wa, taste very much just like eating green pea”, while I was still stirring mine. I agree that it’s strong as I can already smell it as I stir before I was actually drinking it. By the look, you thought it would be a few spoonful of thick soup, but it’s indeed in liquid form. I myself do not mind green pea at all so I find it quite nice, although a lot of you out there might straightly saying NO to green pea haha because of the overly fresh grassy flavour.

Entrée 1: Pan seared “Rougie” foie gras, sautéed local organic mushrooms, 63c slow cooked egg and smoked potato foam: Don’t know what’s Rougie (but learnt later that it’s a foie gras brand)! Foie gras is sometime I 99% cannot miss out whenever it's on the menu, especially when it's pan-seared. Purely from the look, it seems to be creamy soup, but it's actually potato foam. Check out the zoom in photo, there's a soft boil egg hidden underneath the mushroom. So where's the most precious bite? hahaa...It's sinked to the bottom of the plate. I broke the egg, dipped the little toast in, and put some of the mix fresh mushrooms on top. Also adding in a small bite of the foie gras (cause you have to bite it sparingly) Simply divine. Very Very yummy!

Entrée 2: French Bouchot mussels, Manzanilla sherry, cream shallots: My friend ordered the mussel. I tried a piece and I love the flavour as much. This mussel is unlike to usual big mussels. They are slightly bigger than clams but the mussel inside the shell is relatively fat and big. Sometime if they only pour the sauce on top of the mussels after it's cooked, the mussels do not get the flavour of the soup base, but for this dish, the flavour is very consistent! I would say this one is equally good a the foie gras entree, depending whether you want a heavier or a lighter option.

Main 1: Duck rice – leg confit, grilled magret, porcini mushrooms and alioli: This is the only dish that I am slightly disappointed. The duck leg on top is good, the texture of the rice is perfect, but the flavour of the rice is tat borderline of being unacceptably salty. I would imagine the rice is cooked with overly condensed seafood stock. If they could dilute it down a little bit then it would have been fixed.

Main 2: Linguini in black ink sauce, clamari & grilled liberico pork belly: I would say for main I definitely prefer their linguini! I thought the linguini would come in black color but indeed it's a squid ink sauce on top. You have to mix it well before you have it. * NOTE: You need to be super careful if you are wearing white shirt. There is a great risk of splashing the squid ink on your shirt if you accidentally down a linguini off your fork while you are mixing! Be Very Very Careful! One of the best pasta I recently had. No joke but as you have the linguini in your mouth, you almost felt like they are bouncing in there lol, not just flat and soft as you bite and swallow it. I almost felt like it is unnecessary to have the pork belly in this dish but perhaps it could give a little bit of a flavour because just linguini, squid and squid ink could be quite bland.

Dessert: White choco & coconut panna cotta, marinated pineapple : We only just arrived the place at around 13:10 so as we got to dessert it already 13:50. I am trying to enjoy my dessert within the best possible time and here comes to my verdict on it. As you know panna cotta is mainly made out of cream and egg white, it’s rarely to come into this egg pudding color. Guessing the color is from the melted white choco except it doesn’t quite reminds me of that at all judging just by tasting it. Coconut shreds and sautéed pineapples has no doubt goes well hand in hand and the fact that the pineapple is sautéed change its texture into a way softer form. The only thing that I really need to complaint about is the base below the panna cotta. That soft biscuit looking thing which has a funny flavour, and it reminds me of the disgusting BROWN X’MAS PUDDINGS! Pretty sure you know what I mean.

Coffee or Tea: It’s Twinings Tea in a pot. I really really wish I could take it away to enjoy it slowly throughout my afternoon at work. Too bad we have to get back to work.
So overall, we are both very satisfied with Mesa 15. Highly recommended! And if you do not have the time to scroll through my lengthy words above, here are the few lines that you can take home with regarding the good thing about Mesa 15:
Good soft natural light
Spacious
different courses came in a good time, especially when for lunch hour, time is tight!
Good portion (or even a bit too generous in terms of the main)
Nice plating
definitely good value for money


The possible down sides:
If you are not in a rush to get back to work, you might feel like the food came overly quick. Feel free to ask them to down down their service
I tried to make a reservation online at table map but could only see bookings for dinner. I wasn't sure if it's because online bookings quota were filled up or they just do not cater that.

星期六12點,在蘭桂芳走著,靜靜的,人流稀疏,跟大家認識的蘭桂芳截然不同,想不到在這裡竟然會找到一份寧靜。找到協興大廈,上6樓,𨋢門一打開,就看到Mesa15的大名。牆壁的插圖為西班牙菜添了點摩登。開揚光猛,以白色作主調,很平和,而且一切都很整齊乾淨。開放式廚房,讓食客看到廚師準備食物。聽著滋滋的煎煮聲,望過去,可以看到廚師仔細為我們準備食物,知道我地在看,主動報以微笑。星期6也有set lunch供應。等了一會,先來餐湯。Cauliflower bisque, blue-swimmer crab meat小小的杯子很精緻。只有少少的幾口,清清的椰菜花蓉,再加點鮮甜無比的蟹肉,為午餐揭開序幕。接著是Pica Pica。French Bouchot mussels, spicy chorizo, roasted tomato sauce很出色,細細隻的青口肉質鮮嫩且充滿鮮味,醺上濃稠,帶微辣的蕃茄汁,更好吃。chorizo不過咸,且辣度剛好。Marinated salmon, creme fraiche with green apple & cucumber忌廉打得很輕盈,味道又香又清新

Pink dessert - strawberry & vanilla foam, homemade shortbread crumbles
最後是甜品。每個Pink dessert餐廳都會捐出$5給慈善機構,真個構思不錯。忌廉很輕,入口即融,吃到很清新士多啤梨味。夾著兩層雲尼拿忌廉,可見一點點的雲尼拿籽,卻奇怪地吃到檸檬味。shortbread像是普通的海綿蛋糕,沒甚特別。

很寧靜舒服的一個午餐,到我地將近離開才有另一枱客人。份量剛好,既滿足又不至於撐著肚子。服務不錯,態度溫文有禮。這樣的質素值得有更多的客人。

All of the dishes we had were fresh and yummy. The watermelon and tomato juice was super refreshing.  The scallops were cooked to perfection.  The pork belly was was juicy and nicely carmelized.  The sauce of the black mussels was really appetizing (this dish goes very well with bread).  The pasta dish was great, but it's not as good as the other dishes.  I'll definitely go there again.The only downside was the portion size was too small.

The Spanish cuisine at Mesa 15 was overall thoughtful and refined. However, we found the standard of the meal a bit inconsistent and we are not sure whether, even with its one Michelin star, it can set itself apart from the other Spanish culinary establishments in town.

點好菜便先來一小杯餐湯。也沒留意餐牌,還以為是西班牙特式凍湯,一踫,才知是南瓜熱湯,剛好天氣驟冷,這口熱湯特別舒心。南瓜湯打得細滑又清甜,中間摻入藍蟹肉,鮮美中滲出絲絲鹹香,果然,海鮮永遠是香港人的寵兒。

兩道前菜同時上來。平白一碗像麥皮的,其實是煙燻馬鈴薯泡沫,中間還藏住了一顆半生不熟的水煮走地蛋,邊吃邊在口中發出咔滋,而且鹹香無比的,是特別炮製過的伊比利風乾火腿脆脆。這道前菜,新穎卻不讓人反應。另一邊廂的牛舌沙律則傳統得多,綠意盎意的菜蔬井然有多的鋪陳於碟上,牛舌薄切成片,灑一抹香蒜汁,清新中帶點肉香,牛舌更是軟嫩可口。兩首菜菜,各擅勝場。

主菜共有五款選擇,款款皆讓我心動。最後挑了慢煮再輕煎的三文魚,配上當時得令的中國菜蔬。煙紅粉嫩的三文魚排橫陳於輕煎過的小棠菜之上,驟眼看還以為是尋常三文魚排。一切開,驚覺魚肉嬌嫩得入口即化,油香滿溢於嘴裏。果真,以慢煮處理三文魚,最能保存油香和肉質之細嫩。
另一道主菜則選了慢煮去骨伊比利豬肋骨。厚實又重甸甸的豬肋骨置於碟上,單是看就讓我流口水。一刀切下,肉軟滑得立時分離。經過慢煮處理,每口豬肉細滑如絲,油香豐腴之餘,卻不覺膩。墊底的雜菇吸盡豬油,立時變得不平凡。

甜品先嘗自家製芝士蛋糕,輕幼不膩,質感細滑,於舌頭不着痕跡。而蛋糕加入不少烘香杏仁碎,邊咬邊於嘴中生香。另一道甜品則是拖肥香蕉配上乳酪泡沫。自上次於Amical吃過Banoffee Pie,便迷上拖肥和香蕉的配搭。一下挖到底,拖肥香蕉又香又甜是自然不過,難得配上乳酪泡沫,微微的酸香,添上一抹清新之感,中和甜膩,太美味了。
十二點半吃到差不多兩點,全店也不過四五桌客人。不知是大家還沒中蘭桂坊這片燈紅酒綠之地醒過來,還是不知道這裏有一家價廉物美的新派西班牙菜。
西班牙菜,絕對不止大鑊海鮮飯一味。

Mesa 15 原先在荷李活道15號, 筆者經常行經此處, 但從未入內進餐, 鄰近的西班牙餐廳就試食過, 但此店曾經有進去的想法 , 直至轉至現址才有機會一試。Order 了午餐, 沒有送止麵包, 首先來西班牙凍湯, 味道比較酸, 內裡有一塊燒豬肉, 基本上很多西班牙餐廳都送上此湯, 份量不大, 用作開胃, 味道可以。 蝦汁蝦 - 蝦汁非常濃, 應該用蝦頭煮成, Tapas size, 好味道, 但只適合小嘗, 很油。 Mussels - 細細隻, 微辣, 味道同樣可以。Seabass - 份量不大, 魚肉嫩滑入味, 但肉質不像鱸魚。Iberico pork shoulder-loin - 口感不俗, 同樣入味, 肉味濃。Black octopus rice - 八爪魚軟腍, 飯粒比較硬, 有少少鮮味。Lemon cheese cake - 味道清新, 檸檬加芝士, 一流。最後以一杯Latte 送上完結, 味道一般, 奶味太濃。感覺上不像西班牙菜, 偏向Fusion菜多一點, 可以一試。
