吃一頓法國菜,動輒四五小時,值得與否,見仁見智。這晚來到Maison ES,環境優雅,氣氛寧靜,大多客人都在慶祝生日/週年紀念日呢!而最近推出的新菜單,就以中式家鄉菜為基礎,換上高檔的食材,以及法式的擺盤,讓人眼前一亮。前菜有波士頓龍蝦炒有機蛋伴多士,龍蝦肉爽彈鮮甜,炒蛋好滑溜,加上黑松露,香氣十足,是矜貴版的蝦仁炒蛋呢!金黃香口的鵝肝春卷,餡料有綿滑的鵝肝、絲絲軟腍鴨肉及清甜小棠菜,沾點浙江醋更為惹味。主菜,我們選了魚及雞。蒸日本鯛魚,是的,完全超乎想像的蒸魚,長條形好工整的鯛魚上,抹上潮州豆瓣醬及芹菜,伴以香脆魚皮,再澆上甜豉油,一刀切下,魚汁溢出,超級鮮甜滑溜。飲湯要連材料吃,這道菜就是這個樣子,法式水煮雞胸,見到碟上有雞胸、响螺、杞子、脆炸雞皮等,上碟前澆上响螺杞子海參雞湯,讓嫩滑清甜雞胸吸收一點湯汁,合上眼細嚐一下,就是家的味道。一邊細嚐主菜,一邊喝點白酒,大家都加加油,cheers~甜品的話,如果你跟我一樣喜歡咖啡又喜歡Earl Grey,必試Coffee French Toast,超美味! 濃郁Earl grey 雪糕,鬆軟的Nespresso法式多士,澆上點煉奶,非常搭配,入口充滿滿足的感覺。 繼續閱讀

今天繼續分享下午茶,但今次的主題比較少見,是同時混合法國風情及地中海風味的「地中海特色下午茶」,而地點則是灣仔寧靜星街內的 Maison ES,氣氛相當一流! 按目前的時間表來看,甜魔家還可飛多2次才離開,但基於多種因素,最夢寐以求的希臘這幾年是去不成了。不要緊!家人永遠是最重要的,去不到地中海小島,能吃上一頓地中海主題下午茶 ($250位/$488兩位) 也不錯,何況這天與久別的朋友也聊得盡興又愉快~特別朋友也有移民傾向,這天更是聊到一發不可收拾,正是「傾到口水乾」,水也喝了好幾杯,然後又分別點了心儀的咖啡/茶(這天我選了 Elderflower Latte 有陣陣接骨木花,挺吸引~),邊喝邊等下午茶來到。 下午茶有5款鹹點,最吸引我是酥皮絲炸蝦伴穆罕默德醬;穆罕默德醬由叙利亞紅辣椒加上核桃醬製成,口味豐富曼妙、吸人入勝,吃完炸蝦後也不妨用 Pita 包點蘸來吃。至於炭烤 Pita 包的原配,其實是牛油果鷹咀泥伴紅石榴, 清新得來又帶酸甜果香,也挺不錯的~其他鹹點還有杜卡脆皮吞拿魚配紅菜頭青瓜沙律、有驚喜的中東蔬菜餅 (Falafei cake) 配茄子沾醬及半乾番茄,還有以小巧夾子呈上的摩洛哥雞肉捲餅。甜點中最有特色是地中海棗及果仁撻:地中海棗即椰棗,有蜂蜜的口感,一個人每天食用6個椰棗就能生存,可見其營養之豐富!製成脆撻,其實又不會太甜,值得一試。香甜小米沙律配大黃菜也是酸咪咪夠開胃,幾款中較甜是杯裝的香濃米布丁慕絲伴番紅花燉香梨及榛子。而其實下午茶的靈魂角色,是店方自家製的原味及薑橙鬆餅,出品非常熱暖酥脆、牛油香突出但又不會太膩,兩款都非常的好吃,甜魔媽媽及友人都忍不住兩整個吃光了,很飽、很肥但也很滿足!最後,凡享用此下午茶的客人,均可獲抽獎機會一次,可獲法國品牌 Isabel Marant 送出的禮品或購物優惠券乙張。甜魔媽媽這天就中了一年的 Gold card member,不過由於留港時間不多,就轉送朋友了~下午茶供應至2020年1月5日,有與趣的別錯過了! 繼續閱讀

同美女慶生🎂 金鐘附近搵到Maison ES。地址雖然係灣仔星街🌟 但要爬一段小斜路上電氣街度先見到佢入口🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️墨綠色門口, 有兩束花同架單車做點綴, 想表達出法式小店既情懷🇫🇷 12點黎到, 餐廳有啲焗束🥵進入後第一眼已經確認佢「打咭名店」既地位。粉色作為主打, 微微昏暗既燈光係水晶吊燈傾瀉下來💡牆上面掛住唔少文青路向既相同畫🖼 對比天上裝飾, 枱面陳設亦不遑多讓。橢圓形既枱塾上放咗閃冷冷既餐具🍴仲有用圓環盛起既餐巾。另一邊有一小束盤栽🌿 同埋餐廳碎花底, 黃金字既咭片💛🧡💚入黎正題, 佢既LUNCH MENU 都係2, 3, 4course 選擇。不過略嫌每道菜既形容好長, 要慢慢睇。要一讚係佢既麵包都係夠溫度上枱🥪🍞橄欖形牛油一切就開,呢啲小節都做好。Starter 既Crab meat cake, 一黎已經震撼視覺。嫩綠既汁底同牛油果🥑托起蟹肉餡頂上又有魚籽🐟幫你油顏色, 少少既菜苗將長方形同圓形添亂,  但又唔會破壞畫面。蟹肉味道同牛油果夾到, 中間咬到魚子爆開既鮮香同兩者又非常配合✔️奈何, 惡夢出現, 等左一個鐘都未見主菜, 催單左兩次之後, 見到隔離枱食甜品都食埋❌花兒謝了之際, SIDE DISH 既牛油果天婦羅出現🥑炸兜中間既牛油果就咁食無乜味, 不過點埋一齊黎既蛋黃醬🍳將平淡配上色彩。蛋黃醬既厚實加埋鹽調味, 痴上去外脆內淋既牛油果係令人口水分泌大增🤤三道MAIN DISH中, 三文魚🐠同藜麥磨菇茄子🍄🍆就無機會品嚐, 賣相兩者拿滿分。我既大蝦意粉, 上枱視覺一般, 但係味道算中上。意粉溫度足夠, 醬汁唔會太濃, 蝦用料不錯。由於驚咗要等多一粒鐘, 就無再選擇甜品🍨埋單店員知我地等左好耐, 主道FREE番個SIDE DISH, 合計三人721蚊。價錢唔算平, 但打咭名店可以慢慢品嚐個CHILLI之午餐, 都還好👍餐廳漏單其實總會有機會發生, 但店家識得補救, 自己時間還算充裕, 佢又有補救, 就無謂勞嘈。香港人太多時迫自己太緊, 食餐飯太急只會辛苦自己🤗    繼續閱讀

Keep walking up at Star Street and you will find this laidback French-Asian restaurant at the end. It is completely different atmosphere when you come in day time and night time, day time is more like a relaxing and cozy place for afternoon tea and night time is more a romantic vibe. I have done some research on Instagram before arrive, thus I know this Kagoshima Chunk Rib Tartare is a must-order item here. Just look at that gorgeous and shinning egg yolk, it is luring you! First you need to mix the yolk with the wagyu tartare, then pairs it with sweet potato crisp and sea urchin. I have skipped the sea urchin (since I cannot eat shellfish), yet my boyfriend says it tastes really good and fresh. The beef tartare is so tender and sweet potato crisp has added some extra texture and sweetness to the dish.The second starter that we have ordered is a new item, Kurma Ebi. Technically this dish is for my boyfriend, because it is shrimp with caviar, avocado, brioche toast and watermelon granita. I can’t describe its taste, however I can see my boyfriend really enjoy it, he even drinks the sauce lol!Up next is something that I have chosen, Jerusalem Artichoke. I thought it is same as artichoke, turns out they are totally different species! The jerusalem artichoke veloute infused with mushroom and served with sunny side up egg and crispy chips. Overall the flavour is quite mild and is better to eat with with a spoon. Down to the first main course, we have Barbary Duck Breast. The duck breast is smoked and seared with earl grey tea, yet I can’t taste much tea flavour from the duck. Nonetheless it still tastes FREAKING DELICIOUS, it is unexpectedly tender and it carries a hint of liver aftertaste (a bit similar to foie gras flavour). It also serves along with carrots, dehydrated kale, burdock puree and sweet plum duck jus. All these complex flavours work well together and highlight the duck breast, definitely recommend you to try this out!Since both of us are meat lovers, we cannot resist to order this Wagyu A3 Sirloin! The perfectly grilled and pinkish beef cubes are absolutely mouth-watering, you can choose to dip it with onsen egg and kabayaki sauce or eat it with wasabi or garlic chips. The wagyu beef cube is tender, but I wish it has a stronger beef taste. My favourite is to pair with wasabi, as that bit of exciting flavour can bring out the beefy taste without overshadow the wagyu beef itself, NOM NOM! These beef cubes are sided with a yaki onigiri as well and it is in rectangle shape.If you know me well, then you will know I love to eat avocado. So I spot this Avocado Tempura on the menu, I just can’t help myself to order it. The deep fried avocado is a bit hard and raw in the middle, hence the texture is a bit similar to carrot. The avocado flavour isn’t that outstanding, but is good to eat with that salted egg yolk dip. Finished the savouries? It’s time for something sweet!! Even though we are pretty full by then, we still decide to order a Coffee French Toast, because it sounds and looks yummy! Two thick slices of brown French toast is topped with a scoop of chocolate icecream, then you can drizzle the warm caramel sauce over the top too. You can’t really see the element of coffee, however you can taste a rich coffee flavour from the toasts. I believe the french toasts have been soaked in coffee, therefore the coffee flavour is strong and long lasting. 這頓午餐因為happy Friday? 因為就到聖誕?總之開心食一餐早一天在 Open Rice成功訂檯😃灣仔星街附近的電氣道,其實喺灣仔金鐘呢一帶工作左六年呢兩日先發現呢一條斜路呢條小斜路相對地幽靜舒適,而店門外擺放着一部休閒單車加添一點法國風情架單車好靚樓底唔高,有兩排長檯同梳化座簡約的table settingToday’s Lunch menu麵包籃有兩款麵包,個人覺得片裝那款有乾柴感😆,而 Bun還是暖暖的,比較軟身但也略嫌乾身咗尐好精緻的杯子,得優雅😍Salmon mango avocadoBelly Pork略嫌皮唔夠香脆Side dish - chips朱古力慕絲蛋糕,濃郁古古力,夠滑! 繼續閱讀
