週末在鄰近戲院看戲後,便到附近一帶享受週末早午餐眾多的餐廳選擇,這家的款式比較多除了週末早午餐,還有午餐套餐選擇價錢亦是合理的炸粟米球凱撒沙律加煙三文魚沙律菜新鮮,醬汁比例適中內有芝士片、煙肉粒及麵包粒麵包粒不是一般脆脆的而是烤的,又特別又好食主角炸粟米球不油膩,點上少少微辣醬汁,超級好吃Montanara Pizza薄餅味道亦不錯,像微微脆的麵包底,口感少少煙韌白毛豬一片一片放在每片的pizza上,十分足料食量較細的人要注意 繼續閱讀

Brunching is honestly the best idea ever invented by humans! After trying out so many brunch places throughout Hong Kong, I found a cute little restaurant in Civic Square, Elements that served amazing brunch food. I had an enjoyable meal there and the food was awesome.As we had a dog with us, we were seated outside. The weather that day was just really nice, not too hot or sunny, with a touch of breezes. The four of us each ordered a dish, but we decided to share as well.(1) The Breakfast Steak and Hash was out of this world! The steak was cooked just fine, medium rare. It was so tender and the flavour was well-sauteed. The hash had an egg on top - it was so delish. The whole combination was just A-OK.(2)Sate’d Orignial Cheeseburger. The burger was quite good. The patty was on fleek. Came with fries too.(3) Roast Lamb. It was so palatable. Went with my wife to do some shopping at Elements and decided to grab a bite during lunch time. Went up to the roof deck and remembered Madam S'Ate where we had dine before and had a very good experience.We were welcomed at the door with big smiles and as the weather was mild, decided to sit outdoors in the alfresco dining area. The wait staff presented us the menus and introduced us to the various choices available, including the All Day Menu, the Set Lunch Menu and the Snacks Menu. We started off with a couple of mocktails to freshen up.We liked a few of the set menu items but did not want to do the entire set menu and the staff was very accommodating by helping us order just a few of the items separately. We shared the Clams Pasta, Tandoori Chicken and Red Snapper. The meals arrived promptly and well spaced out so we had time to move from one dish to another. And they changed our plates after every dish! How wonderful!We were offered desserts after our meals but we opted for a deliciously brewed coffee instead.The experience was very pleasant indeed, well surpassed the previous one we had quite some time ago. We arrived at 7.40, looking forward to a nice dinner, and ordered the 1000gm Bone-in Rib Eye for two ($980) with sides of kenya beans and salad. For starter, we chose the Mussels ($160) which came about 30 minutes later and was okay with fennel and light creamy sauce. Portion rather small, though.  Then came the disaster ! About 8.45pm, a full HOUR since ordering, came a nicely cooked sliced rib, with ten pieces of beef. Only it was STONE COLD. The plate was cold, the meat barely warm despite only 4 tables occupied, and 7 staff on hand to serve us. We took a piece each, and then, seeing it was barely warm, called the "chef".  We explained this was not what we expected, said we had still one hour until our movie started, and would he please make us a new one that was hot and on a heated plate.He agreed, and went away. At 9.20pm, with nothing having arrived to our table despite 4 requests, we pleaded with the kitchen to serve us before the movie actually started. At 9.27pm, a second plate arrived (see picture) which looked basically like the first piece, only less meat on the plate, more dry, and JUST AS BARELY WARM AS THE FIRST ONE ! I'm not sure why this person working in a kitchen would think this is how to impress a customer or keep their job :-( We had 10 minutes to eat, were decidedly annoyed, insulted, and frustrated.  We ate two pieces and had to leave. (see second photo!)The serving staff (especially Puja) did their absolute best to help us, placate us, and try to make up for their colleague's appalling service to a customer, but we will definitely be voting with our feet to this restaurant. We arrived at restaurant shortly before 02:00pm for a table of 4 plus a baby. We ordered 2 set lunches and 1 pasta once we were seated. At that time, we noticed that there were only 2 tables that are occupied inside  restaurant. After 30 minutes, we waited patiently for our entrees to arrive and politely asked one of the waitress to follow up. waitress replied in two words "its coming". We waited until 02:50pm and finally the 2 entrees arrived, which was a salmon and soup. Afterwards, we assumed that the mains would come at a reasonable time however, we waited for 30 minutes and kindly reminded the waitress again to follow up. She did not reply nor say anything to us. Then afterwards, a male staff approached our table and said that he has already rushed the kitchen 10 times and insisted that this is your restaurant's "policy" that mains are prepared only after entrees are cooked. He made this statement in a "strong tone" and insisted that there was not any wrongdoings whatsoever. The mains finally arrived after we waited for 45 minutes. Total waiting time for entrees and main = 1 hrs and 25 mins approx.we have waited for over an hour for our food during lunch time in which the restaurant capacity was not at its fullest. We do not  believe that it is under normal circumstance to have  customers wait for food for over an hour. Even if that is the case, we expect that the service or manner and handling customer service would be better and  could understand customers may be hungry waiting for their lunches after an hour.After we paid the bill which was in around $750 and started to leave, none of the staff  had the courtesy to either say "Thanks for coming" nor "Sorry for the wait".  Restaurant claims" Experience truly memorable al fresco dining at Madam S’ate; one of the best outdoor restaurants in Hong Kong. Seated in our elegant open-air dining area, you can rely on first-class service and excellent food from our contemporary European menu."  However, I do not agree with this statement as the service is not first-class and being a frequent diner in Hong Kong, we will not recommend to our friends/guests. 繼續閱讀
