趁著restaurant week 試了很多家餐館,今天來了這家法點餐館,餐廳位於小窄巷,沿著號碼牌便很易到達。店面小小,五臟俱全,有小酒吧,全店只有一位店員和廚師。星期日可能比較少人,只有兩枱客。先來頭盤,波菜藍芝士凍配紅菜頭脆脆,紅菜頭脆片似薯片,沒有一般紅菜頭的腥味,好吃,很想買一包回家當薯片吃波菜凍完全沒有草青味,幾乎沒有藍芝士味,只滲入淡淡的鹹香,不吃芝士的人也可接受。另外的chilled leek & potato vichyssoise veloute, 就是平日在西菜館喝到的凍湯,香滑帶有淡淡薯仔味。主菜是seafood catch of the day, 今天的是sea bass fillet, 魚皮煎得香口,魚肉沒有骨,啖啖肉,配mayonnaise 和cherry radish, 配搭得恰當。另一主菜,紅酒燉牛肉配薯條,第一次吃這樣又長又幼的薯條,應該是自家制,已添有味粉,份量頗多。牛肉很入味,肉汁很杰,應煮了很長時間,肉夠冧,易咬開,不錯。甜品有杏梨撻和cherry tiramisu verrine, 我比較愛後者放鬆的坐了兩個小時,整家餐館感覺都行漫活,難得的一輕鬆週末。 繼續閱讀

今日同朋友襯restaurant week 最後一日,預約左係荷里活道入面一條小巷入面既法國小餐館。🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷利間餐廳既位置都幾隱蔽,經過左先知原來餐廳門口係小巷入面,附近係百子里公園。行落樓梯就係餐廳門口啦。我地一入到去,坐係一邊既外籍老闆即時招呼我地,安排坐位比我地。今日係星期日,我地入到去有幾台客,但都有幾多位置空左。我地預訂左restaurant week lunch 既餐牌優惠,所以老闆都拎左指定餐牌出黎同我地介紹😆利個午餐係每人148再加10% 服務費,咁就可以點一道前菜,一道主食同甜品。因爲我無影低,所以係網站到直接截圖落黎。😛😛老闆好好介紹左當日既餐牌菜色材料比我知。我地餐前菜揀左 Spinach panacotta with blue cheese🧀. 佢係一個用菠菜整成既布甸,然後上面有層 blue cheese 加啲脆片係上面。啲blues. Cheese 咸咸地,夾埋啲布甸好好好味。本身睇落杯布甸唔係好大杯,但食完都幾飽肚。然後Main我地就叫左 classic boeuf bourguignon with French fries, 姐係紅酒燉牛肉🐮🐮。利份燉牛肉份量都幾多,應該有六、七舊牛肉。味道方面,我覺得紅酒味好重,可能我唔太好紅酒,所以覺得味道還好,未到好喜歡。而薯條就好好味,因為我中意食炸物。佢既薯條係偏幼同軟,但都有點咸,如果無咁咸就perfect!完成左主菜後,老闆好好咁留意到我地已經完成,然後幫我地安排上甜品。🥧🥧🥧我同朋友各點左一款甜品,我叫左 pear 🍐& almond bourdaloue tart, 而朋友點左 cherry 🍒 tiramisu. 老闆仲細心咁比埋刀叉我地,預我地可以大定分享。個甜梨撻都幾大件, 食落個撻好似蛋糕既口感咁,我中意佢上面焗到脆脆地。但整體個撻偏甜,會有啲膩既感覺。 但味道同口感係唔錯的。 而朋友叫既Cherry tiramisu 同平時我地食開有層可可粉既tiramisu 唔同,佢無咁大陣咖啡味,似係奶油,而入面係有好多車厘子 🍒🍒🍒,朋友幾中意。利一餐我地食得好飽,因為份量好夠。味道方面我地都覺得係好食既,但就未到十分好味,可能係因為個人口味關係。而餐廳老闆既服務都好好👏,keep住上餐都同我地有互動同埋好細心,可惜我地英文一般般,大多講thanks only😂😂😂不過去到最後,老闆主動拎張單比我地埋,利點我地覺得似有啲想人走,所以就心底裡扣左少少分。over all 整餐黎講都算滿意。 繼續閱讀

同事嘅法國朋友話依度嘅菜式非常正宗所以我哋中午嚟試一試。午市兩個courses $130 而三個courses 就$175。以中環Soho區嘅價錢來講都算合理。前菜我就叫咗Fish Terrine, 呢個前菜非常好味魚肉拆成一絲絲,再壓成塊,調味唔係好重反而食到好多一絲絲嘅魚肉非常足料。朋友叫咗Soup of the day,係蕃茄凍湯,我就冇試,不過佢話飲唔慣凍湯所以覺得普通。主菜我哋叫咗三款share,分別係Scallop risotto, fish of the day, Boeuf Bourguignon。魚就正常,只要新鮮簡單調味都好好食。我反而喜歡底下嘅配菜, 小薯仔炸得非常脆身而生菜亦都新鮮加上沙律醬好味。意大利飯奶油味好香,飯粒唔會過諗,連上面頭嘅帶子同埋蘆筍,整體感覺好夾。依個最受歡迎,好快就食晒。最後嘅紅酒燉牛肉,味道應該幾正宗但係紅酒味實在太重,我就唔係好食得慣。旁邊嘅薯條比較幼身亦都唔係好脆,我反而比較鍾意魚底下嘅薯仔。有兩款甜品可以選擇所以我哋就點黎Share。一款係抹茶芝士蛋糕而另一款就係士多啤梨吉士撻。抹茶芝士蛋糕中間嘅芝士係偏軟身亦只有淡淡的綠茶味,呢個我麻麻地。反而個士多啤梨撻有驚喜,士多啤梨新鮮,個批底牛油味香又脆身,中間吉士醬唔會太甜。呢間小餐館應該非常正宗,因為中午都見到唔少法國人嚟依度食飯。法籍嘅店員非常親切隨性,會再嚟。 繼續閱讀

Central & westerner usually dine out on Fridays and its so hard to grab a table, especially for a loner. Choosing between sushi or a casual two-course meal, i decided to walk into tis tiny red hut again after three years. I ordered the shrimp n grapefruit mille feuille (appetiser) and pot of today (the mussels). Everything is still so good! The place is cozy, one needs not worry about the hustling, elbow bumping during usual dine out. The appy is delicate with lots of flavor, the mussels in tomato sauce are fresh n juicy (reminding me of the scene of ocean in Normandy), and the frites are just right (not too crispy not too dry). I was introduced by my friend to visit this petite French restaurant in SOHO. It was a Friday night and everywhere was so full and noisy; this little restaurant was just the best place for us coz it is not too full with comfortable spacing. There is a bar table inside the restaurant and I believe will be good to have drink if u go in group of 2-3; this time we were being arranged to sit at the sofa which is located at the corner as we was in a group of 5. Table arrangement was good and we had a great time. Food portion is big and quality is reasonable base on the its price range. However, we ordered too much food; we tried to ask for help from the staff there during food ordering for the best portion and dish~ yet, not much advice was given as the staff just said everything was good.
