I have been to the Le Bistro Winebeast two times now, both for the lunch menu, and both times the food has been out of this world. On top of the quality of food, the staff at Winebeast is definitely another one of their advantage points. Hong was our server both times I've been and he has been incredibly attentive to our dietary needs and mindful of our experience at Winebeast. His energy was definitely the X factor needed to boost the dining experience to the next level.For starters, I went for the Tuna Tartare and shared the sea bass ceviche with colleagues. Both dishes were incredibly light yet full of flavour. The passion fruit sauce paired with the seafood was something I have not experienced before, but to my pleasant surprise, completely complimented the fish. For mains, I went for the Scallops with butternut puree. I have never been a butternut or squash fan, but the seasoning in the puree was so delicate that it made me a fan! Scallops were beautifully seared and tender in the middle. Last but not least, for desserts, we all went for the passion fruit creme brûlée, and although it came in small portions, the chef baked the creme brûlée in the skin of the passion fruit itself, which boosted the flavour. Highly recommend going for this dessert. I tend to go earlier to try and beat the lunch crowd so have not had to wait too long for a table! It always seems to be busy around lunch time, so definitely recommend booking a table or going earlier as I do!Over all, HIGHLY recommend Winebeast for the top quality food and a great laugh and service from the servers (Shoutout to Hong again - thank you!) 繼續閱讀

6月底約了朋友到bistro Winebeast晚飯。顧名思義,餐廳標榜wine字,於是也點選了他們的4-course dinner tasting menu,吃了一個4道菜的晚餐,每道菜都配對不同的葡萄酒(其實主要是體驗菜與酒的配搭)。菜是很有水準的,酒平時飲的不多,當晚可以一口氣試了4種不同的酒,既滿意又充實。當晚飲的酒,有3種是盧瓦河谷的酒,二白一紅,首先是Muscadet Sevre & Maine,接著本應是Sancerre blanc,但因缺貨,餐廳換了同區的一種Sauvignon blanc,再接著是Chinon,配甜品的是意大利甜酒Moscato。我拍了一段短片介紹這晚的用餐過程,有興趣的朋友可看看。 繼續閱讀

今日到呢到食lunch事前打比waiter想索取menu佢話餐廳網站有餐廳嘅位係偏窄每張枱之前貼得好埋研究左一陣入去餐廳即刻order得!lunch係一個3-course-menu我嘅starter係salad沒別的最緊要用料新鮮佢係做到的加上有橙汁淋面酸酸的好開胃朋友叫左蕃茄凍湯做starter呢個有驚喜蟹肉量十分多上面有魚子點上橄欖油我偷飲左一啖啖啖蟹肉反而蕃茄味不濃我的主菜來了係medium嘅beef bavette 170g其實就咁望都好細舊食落....都係好細舊係唔會夠飽不過幾好味dessert可以揀心太軟我就咁要左杯茶算 繼續閱讀

灣仔呢間食法國菜小店都有驚喜喎!前菜叫左個French Tapas,有牛肉他他、炸鴨肉丸、醃製三文魚等,每樣都好特色,少少地就可以試多幾款,都幾精緻!Impossible burger, 見友人未食過所以叫左,呢間真係煮得好似肉,加埋煮到勁淋既焦糖洋蔥,真係好似食埋真牛肉漢堡咁!Rossini agnus beef fillet係一道好經典既法國菜,即係牛扒配鵝肝同松露,我都幾驚喜咁厚身既牛扒medium rare 但juicy,而且鵝肝既油份令牛扒變得更加香但又唔會覺得好油膩,而鵝肝煎香但內軟,整體真係做得唔錯!Grilled Hokkaido scallop 係好濃滑身芝士蓉醬配上松露片,令北海道帶子呢類型相對淡身既海鮮變得味道豐富左,同埋燒到岩岩好半生熟既帶子處理得好好,最怕過熟而嘥左啲靚食材!甜品就叫左poached pear,用紅酒煮成既啤梨充滿住濃濃既酒香,配上薑餅味雪糕,實在為呢一餐劃上滿足既句號。 繼續閱讀

三個course午餐, $168加一,普遍灣仔價錢。如果想有沙律菜以外的選擇,可以加錢自行配搭。頭盤前先上麵包配牛油, 麵包較硬身, 沙律菜份量大, 味道不過不失。主菜beef bavette, 其實上菜時已經見到牛排比較乾身, 加上順紋切和入面有不少“跟“的關係, 令到牛排變得比較硬, 呢個對於我嚟講就一般啦。甜品係chocolate fondant 配雲呢拿雪糕, 雪糕細滑溶得比較快, 心太軟較甜。店舖不大但有音樂配襯, 座位閒之空間亦可接受,午餐是一個不錯的選擇。 繼續閱讀
