姨媽們每次回港都總會有新潮點o既資訊,消息絕對比XO仔靈通得多。上個月尾走咗轉台灣後,禮拜六即同小肥去見識吓兩個幾月前過江龍「La Petite Maison」於香港新開之分店,一訪新興打卡熱店,並一嚐法國尼斯家鄉菜。跟隨地址經H Queen’s大廈上一樓。發現此路線只可通往餐店側門。食客要出返士丹利街先可從正門進入。入座後不久已有女仕們急不及待要去洗手間,咁先知道貴客原來必需步出側門,轉乘升降機落樓,好迂迴地先搵到一格洗手間。可能太多人如廁前後盪失路啦,升降機大堂長期都有位哥哥仔陣守指路。西餐店樓底高高,用餐大堂極之開揚。一邊間咗做闊落o既酒吧區。其餘為用餐散座,不過真係冇諗過喺一家標榜為高級西餐廳會出現背對背o既情況,小肥埋位後真係動彈不得。長輩向外籍服務生提議移出啲張餐桌時,黑面神居然答話開邊係要留返條通道俾同事傳菜用o既,所以張枱唔郁得。這間小屋子(注:法文中,「petite」譯作「小」,「maison」可譯作「屋子」或「家」)裡並無普通開水供應,冇汽o既樽裝水每枝$70。講真食晏好少會飲酒,不過聽到主人家話開瓶費收成$800/樽,所以就影咗幾頁香檳牌及雞尾酒俾大家參閱。雖則餐店開業不久,但紙造餐牌已開始有點陳舊。封面用上疑似車軚人o既繪畫,睇黎店主對摘星好重視吓。翻閱餐牌內頁,即了解到「La Petite Maison」之母店於一九八八年設於法國尼斯,及其主打傳統尼斯料理o既來源及選材擇要。據悉,週六、日午餐只可從兩頁散點餐牌中揀選,全為二至三人份量之菜式。左頁餐牌為前菜。右頁則為主菜。主菜項目中,有三粒星星作標記o既為可供四至六人食用之「必先預訂菜式」,冇訂就要撞吓彩啦,因為有陣時即場叫都會有得食。另附一頁節令餐牌,今期正正做緊白松露。當問及經理哥哥有否推介食品時,佢高傲地話餐牌上乜都好食!有自信心係好,但當態度變得過份囂張時係會產生反效果o既。。。講真整頓午餐只有負責派麵包位印藉服務生最為友善,但單靠佢一人也難以抵消全店整體差劣之表現。所有菜式均即叫即做,廚房整好乜就會派人立即傳出,並以家庭式地擺放於餐桌中央由食客自行分黎食。主人家點好菜,姨媽就好熟手地拿起枱上鮮紅鮮黃o既蕃茄及檸檬,三兩吓手勢就切成蕃茄小件,唧上檸檬汁後再淋上少許橄欖油,清甜爽潤,極之開胃。Betteraves Marinées – Marinated Beetroot($88):眾所周知XO仔唔多愛食菜,對紫色食物更頗為抗拒,不過此道醃紅菜頭當真鮮香潤澤,腍中帶爽,香甜醒神,實屬必吃推介。Calamars Frits – Deep Fried Baby Squid($128):炸BB魷魚雖然細細隻,外表亦好金黃,無奈咬落又硬又乾,小肥對$128要求高好多囉!Tartare de Thon – Tuna Tartare and Oscietra Caviar($308):呈太陽狀o既吞拿魚他他鮮美亮澤。將頂面o既生鵪鶉蛋、炸雲吞皮及魚籽醬混入吞拿魚他他,組合香濃柔潤,惹味滑溜,最就係撈入咗超級巧薄又脆卜卜o既炸雲吞皮,令口感更為豐沛,冇得頂呀!Carpaccio de Sériole – Yellowtail Carpaccio($218):油甘魚薄切顏色就靚啦,可惜師傅用上過多酸汁,真頭酸到以為嫲嫲又叫XO仔添(耳邊不停聽到「好孫,好孫。。。」),唔通啲魚片唔夠新鮮?!Linguine aux Palourdes de Venise – Linguine Pasta with Venetian Clams($268):所謂二至三人份量o既意粉就連姨媽都話佢一個人都唔夠食。。。意粉麵條煙韌彈牙,不過蜆隻好多都有沙,而且仲腥腥地,質量油麻地過油麻地!T-Bone Black Onyx($1,598):落單時講明要「medium rare」,但如相所示,T骨扒勁多血水,全枱人都覺得似rare多啲囉!牛肉肉質偏韌,層肥膏仲要成吋厚,絕對唔值$1,598!請恕細佬見識淺薄,當真冇諗過生西洋菜可用作伴碟之用。生西洋菜外表不甚美觀之餘,個人覺得也太重口味了!鐵盤內最正反而係鮮黃惹味o既蒜頭,也太意想不到了吧?!應經理哥哥建議,餐晏點咗幾個頭盤及三個主菜黎分,食埋麵包席上都冇人覺得飽肚,午市最後點菜時間居然係兩點正,眼見甜品項目並無吸引之處,食過o既多款菜式又唔係話特別標青,姨媽們連咖啡都費事叫黎飲,XO仔結果亦只係影咗兩頁甜品牌供大家參考用。中環新開法國餐廳「La Petite Maison」主打尼斯家鄉菜。用餐大堂開揚,但散座過密,活動及私人空間接近零,且嘈雜非常。廚師所選用之蔬果食材新鮮,所有食物即叫即煮,並家庭式地擺放於餐桌中間供食客自己分黎食。雖則前菜醃紅菜頭及吞拿魚他他均屬美食,但主菜意粉及T骨扒就好一般。最劣就係店內一眾黑面神服務生,態度唔多誠懇且極不耐煩,這間「小屋子」確真洋溢著「小家」子氣,香港食肆多的是,個人覺得並無需要在此俾錢買難受! 繼續閱讀

If you guys are up for some rage, please keep reading this. I created an Openrice account so that I could write a review for this restaurant so I hope you all enjoy. For a while now I have heard friends raving about this restaurant so I decided that why not give it a try since the food looked good and the restaurant seemed to have good vibes. WELL, I was proven so so WRONG. First of all, why are all the tables so close to each other? I literally felt like I was sharing a table with the people next to me. I think it becomes a problem when a restaurant with such a high price point has this type of a seating arrangement. I mean, I have more privacy and space eating at Tai Hing... And wait, why am I able to hear the conversations happening next to me so clearly?! I'm not even trying to eavesdrop, I am basically forced to hear what other people have to talk about. Maybe I'm the only one with this problem but I certainly don't enjoy when others are able to listen in on what I have to talk about. The table situation already was - points for La Petit but it's okay maybe everything else is on point. Oh wait... my boyfriend decided to order wine and he pointed at a red wine on the list and said "Can we get a bottle of this?" the waitress clearly heard wrong because she said "Oh... this isn't Bordeaux its blah blah blah (proceeded to say the actual name of the wine)." OKAY, you don't have to be so inch my friend. Whether or not you heard wrong just be nice about it? Plus he was literally POINTING AT THE WINE so obviously there was some miscommunication so that was whatever. Shortly after we ordered, we were given some bread. Not too shabby... it was warm which is always a plus for me. My boyfriend and I like our bread with olive oil and vinegar so we obviously put some on our plate. When the first appetizer came, we were already done with our bread. You could clearly see that our plates were drenched with olive oil and vinegar so I felt like the logical thing to do if I were in their position would be to change our plates... Yeah NO, that really did not happen until we asked them to do it. The yellowtail was honestly not bad at all. I liked it a lot and the escargot, which came next, was good too. Except what? Only 6 for the price that we're paying?? I get that this is supposed to be some fancy schmancy restaurant but that is definitely a little too stingy for the price we're paying. Okay wait, let me take that back... I would've been happy to pay that price if the escargots were fat and juicy but these just had SO little meat I am not even joking. It was overflowing with butter and herbs but just SO LITTLE MEAT. Besides that, the taste was great honestly. Plus, I got more bread so that I could dip it in the excess butter and herbs (that was real good too). We also ordered a pasta and the baby chicken as our main. Nothing spectacular, but still quite good. Wasn't much of a problem there. Then at last, we decided to take our drinks to the bar because sitting so close to someone else is just extremely awkward and makes it hard to talk. We shifted to the bar and the waitress said that she would help us bring our drinks to the bar. THANK YOU! Except.... no thank you? My boyfriend and I sat down at the bar but I stepped away for a bit. He was still sitting there and my bag was on the chair RIGHT NEXT TO HIM. So I guess normally you'd be able to tell where we were sitting... I mean he was literally sitting on the chair by the bar and my bag was on the chair right there. When the waitress moved the drinks LOL I can't even keep a straight face writing this because I'm high key laughing about what happened. She MOVED THE DRINKS... EXCEPT SHE MOVED IT THREE SEATS AWAY FROM WHERE WE WERE SITTING. What??? He's literally sitting right there... what are you doing?! Anyways, we proceeded to move the drinks ourselves and the manager (at least I think he was), said he would help and then proceeded to walk away elsewhere. Oh MY... HOW DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN? But real talk, I'm glad we got to try this place and I'm extremely grateful to have been able to eat at a place like this. The food was honestly not bad at all.. It was actually quite good but just a bit overpriced in my opinion and nothing that spectacular. Service and the overall environment/experience is so so important to me. I'm definitely happy that I was able to dine here and experience it but I'm not so sure if I'll ever come back because I'd much rather spend my money at a place where I won't feel uncomfortable having a conversation during my meal.  繼續閱讀

It was absolutely packed with people over lunch. Tables are very close and the restaurant is noisy. Would not suggest for business related lunch as you won’t get any privacy. Luckily, it was a casual catch up lunch for us. Lunch is set as HKD498 with starter (2 choices), main and dessert - if I am not wrong, this is Caprice pricing...we both ordered french beans as starter while I chose the salt croquette and my friend chose beetroot. Not bad; fresh and seasoned at exactly the right level. We shared our main, chicken and pasta. The portion was rather small. Again, not bad but nothing spectacular. The plum ice cream dessert was nice and exactly what you need after the main. Overall, the cooking is quite nice; but it more feels like a bistro setting. Worth it or not? W came here for dinner with the family and we had a very good experience. The food was excellent and on time and the service was very attentive.Our appetizers were excellent, in particular the burrata and tomatoes. The cod fish and duck and clams with linguine was also very good.The desserts were delicate and presentable and the chocolate cake was exceptional. We had a great evening and will be back! 繼續閱讀

由Reservation 到埋單都可以做到好差既一間餐廳! reservation 14:00,10分鐘前打黎提我地準時,點知我地準時到,但張檯未Ready! 咁你打黎比我做乜? 坐低左,無啦啦經理比4杯野飲我地,以為 Welcome Drink 啦,無介紹杯野都算啦,5 分鐘後問我地有無叫過野飲,我地話無就一句sorry都無 就收返,妳有無再肉酸啲呀?唔係貪你杯野呀,但你道歉解釋下都無? 到落order,個waitress 淨係提我地呢樣賣哂個樣賣哂,半句介紹都無,算!叫左支wine,無介紹過,portion 又斟錯哂,白酒斟咁大杯托咩!我又唔係叫杯頭,算!飲完一杯要等5 分鐘後叫人先有人斟酒,PS 有三個人埋過檯!都算!前菜未食完,就左我隻share plate,擺個主菜係我面前,再算!Server 多,但下下都要舉手,仲要全程黑面,我地黑哂面都無人Check satisfaction! 埋單每人$800既lunch(唔叫酒就$550)呢間係我食西餐以黎最差experience 既一間!如果睇完呢篇野,你覺得都係好想去打卡既話,你最好有定心理準備! 繼續閱讀
