La Cantoche is pretty near where I live and I walk by it all the time, but it is a little hidden and as they say, out of sight, out of mind-- I never think of it. This is kind of like a ham and cheese sandwich where the bread has been replaced by chicken and the whole thing is deep-fried. As
You can choose one or two sides with the mains. I think the deal is that if you pick two, you get two half portions-- I definitely recommend two, since the portions are big enough as-is. I liked La Cantoche. The food was very good, especially the mains, and reasonably priced. I thought the sides were a little basic and I was kinda hoping for, for example, the buttery French mashed potatoes that they have at Mr. Chatte, but basic is fine when the star of the show is so good. I would definitely come back here.
