With no dining in after 6pm given COVID-19, we came at 5:15pm for an early dinner. It was our second visit. We had a simple dinner during our first visit.Their a la carte menu offered starters, rice paper rolls, salads, Vietnamese baguette, stir fried veggies, mains, pho noodle soup, rice vermicelli, steamed rice vermicelli cake. As meat lovers, we decided to go all meat for this meal! We ordered two skewers, one more meat starter and a mains dish. There was no service charge. 香茅串燒雞 Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Skewers $36 (top)There were two skewers. The chicken was very tender and juicy and well seasoned. Portion was reasonable too. 香茅串燒牛 Grilled Lemongrass Beef Skewers $40 (bottom)Likewise, there were two skewers. The beef was well seasoned and tender. The sweet satay sauce on the side made the beef and chicken taste even better! There were also some greens on the side.滋味地道墨魚餅 Calamari Cake $52There were 6 thin slices of calamari cake which were very elastic with real calamari flesh. They were not oily at all and went great with the sweet and sour sauce on the side. Some greens were also served.咖哩脆皮牛腩 Curried Crispy Beef Brisket Stew $108I really wondered what crispy beef brisket was when I saw the menu and it was my first attempt. When it was served to us, I realized that they had slightly deep fried the beef briskets to give a super thin layer of batter after stewing to add crispyness! There were so many pieces of beef briskets and they were all very tender and yummy with a lot of evil fat! Dipping them into the separate bowl of curry gave them even more flavours. There were 4 pieces of potatoes in the curry sauce and the sauce was quite spicy. There were some fresh greens on the side and some fresh onions and spring onion on the curry sauce. Both of us liked this dish.We were content with all the dishes during this visit, which were all pretty delicious. 咖哩脆皮牛腩 Curried Crispy Beef Brisket Stew was really quite impressive. How are you?🎈Just Eat /This reminds me of one of my best friends who came from Vietnam. Miss you so much!/ ❤️都有一段時間未食過越南菜啦 🇻🇳 越南餐我哋通常第一時間會諗起火車頭 米紙卷等等今次試下其他菜式先🤪燒雞撈檬 ($62)Cold Vermicelli Bowl with Grilled Chicken 燒雞味道甜甜地 好大塊😝燒得好香 表面燶燶地嘅感覺係正好似散件雞串咁 好大程度上懷疑雞串應該係同樣嘅味道 咁就可以一雞檬兩食 檬粉撈埋特別調製甜甜酸酸醬汁 感覺清新開胃🥗芒果軟殼蟹卷 ($68) Soft Shell Crab with Mango Rolls🥭軟殼蟹加芒果呢個咁創新既配搭都係第一次試😂 芒果 青瓜 米粉 軟殼蟹加起來 軟腍酸甜中帶有一點爽脆 不過如果軟殼蟹再脆身啲 就更好啦👍越南三文治 ($62)🥪Vietnamese Baguette Sandwich比想像之中好食喎😋 一直好好奇越南三文治嘅餡料 終於試左啦 中間主要材料有五花腩 蝦醬 扎肉 肉鬆 同青瓜 外層系焗得脆脆地嘅法包 食落冇想像之中油膩 反而唔錯十分之惹味 呢個新嘗試好好呀🙆‍♀️又點少得嘢飲 入鄉隨族嘅越南啤酒呀🍻 繼續閱讀

今日同朋友食飯。同朋友食嘅最大好處就係可以叫多啲野食一齊share,試多啲唔同野食啦,啱曬為食嘅我地。🍜蕃茄濃湯海鮮檬(走青)$68有兩隻蝦、一堆帶子粒同埋魷魚圈。湯底食落都幾有蝦蟹嘅海鮮味,因為叫左走青,所以我唔知佢本身有冇蔥嗰啲啦。湯底入面仲有幾舊番茄味,不過我覺得海鮮味比番茄味更出,味道都唔錯。🥩濱海伴燒牛肉$56本身諗咗好耐咩叫濱海,望一望餐牌上嘅英文譯名,見到寫住vermicelli cake,推斷應該姐係粉絲整成一舊咁,所以就叫黎試下啦。呢個四個人share啱啱好,因為佢有四片生菜、四件燒牛肉同埋四團粉絲,仲有一啲汁同埋蘿蔔絲咁。咁我哋就推斷係用塊生菜包住啲牛肉同埋粉絲,再加少少蘿蔔絲同汁咁樣食。成個combination都幾好食,啲燒牛肉都幾好食,都幾軟淋同埋調味得唔錯。🥭芒果軟殼蟹卷$68其實係米紙卷,米紙包住少少軟殼蟹、芒果、檬粉、生菜同埋蘿蔔絲。因為我本身都幾鍾意食米紙卷,所以我覺得呢個都唔錯。點少少汁,酸酸地幾好食。如果軟殼蟹同芒果嘅份量多啲,應該會再好食啲。🍚雞絲扎肉頭蝦油炒飯$76好想食飯,所以點都要叫個飯,就揀咗個炒飯啦。炒飯入面有啲雞絲,扎肉切成粒狀,炒埋一齊,雖然唔係特別重蝦油味,但味道都唔錯嘅。食飽之後感覺好滿足。 繼續閱讀

收工之後尋覓未食過嘅餐廳,喺寧靜嘅英華臺揾到間幾新嘅越南嘢🤩舖頭大概有廿個位,都幾光猛企理我同朋友坐得幾近廚房,可以聽到炒嘢時嘅鑊氣聲😂 正呀越南絲網春卷係我必嗌外面酥脆,入面又香又熱嘅芋絲豬肉餡係平凡嘅美味😍包埋新鮮爽甜嘅生菜同醃蘿蔔絲一齊食就清新好多同有多種口感😆青檸薄荷梳打喺泰越餐廳都係熱門嘅選擇Just Eat呢杯薄荷葉俾得好慷慨,梳打水飲到食完飯都仲有汽,幾唔錯👏🏻聽到廚房傳出嘅鑊氣聲就知炒粉麵飯類有料果然無諗錯雞絲扎肉蝦頭油炒金邊粉雖然外表比較普通,但香氣撲鼻蛋好香同蝦油好惹味,金邊粉炒得好靚份量仲好大添越南香茅燒牛肉三文治包係介乎法包同豬仔包之間嘅質地,香脆偏鬆同乾身,吸咗甜甜地嘅沙律醬同肉汁之後都唔會腍晒牛肉燒得好多肉汁同香🤤 仲好腍身易咬健康起見,就算出街食飯都會嗌返碟菜呢個馬拉盞炒芥蘭好香海鮮鮮味而唔係一味得個咸,輕微辣味令人更加開胃芥蘭好嫩,炒嘅時間啱啱好,份量好多🤩 好抵食整體來講店員有禮,上菜速度快份量偏大價錢相宜地方都幾易揾,食晏/放工嚟食都幾方便👏🏻 繼續閱讀

聽人講過西營盤有間平民越南餐廳,地方不大,但款式多,價錢又平,所以假日行山前專登過黎食飽飽先再旅程以黑白做主調,一眼望哂,餐牌都有多款特式越南美食,米紙卷、法包等等,好多都幾吸引越式絲網春卷撈檬 8/10網皮金黃色,外皮酥脆不油膩,沾上甜酸醬更加美味,撈檬可加入少許魚露一起食用,清新可口,好快就食完一碗濃味牛湯浸牛肉河 7/10河粉質感滑溜,唔會好碎同好爛,牛肉約7成熟,肉質軟腍同時亦有點咬口,湯望落好清,但加左好多香料同配料去煮,所以飲落幾濃郁,好鍾意加左多塊洋蔥,好甜好爽口蒜蓉炒芥蘭 7/10份量相當多既芥蘭,炒得剛好,唔會變黃,仍然保持翠綠色,爽脆鮮甜,好味 繼續閱讀
