The standard of the food available is average. Salad is fresh and the olive oil and vinegar is of reasonable quality. Parma ham and melon was also a good choice. Shrimp is acceptable because you can choose the ones that looks good. There is a problem with the emerald snail as one of my friend took one and found that it was rotten and smell awful when she took the meat out. She has to discard the whole dish including the folk and knife afterwards.
I feel disappointed mainly because of the price performance. Firstly, it was still quite crowded when we join the buffet but the most of the dishes were almost empty, I definitely won't go there again at the same hour. Service standard was also disappointing, as people starts to leave at that hour, staffs were busy cleaning up vacant tables and prepare for the evening. However, they seems to forgot customers that were still in the middle of their meal and did not cleanup the finished plates, as you all know that it is a buffet lunch. Drinks were delayed and have to reminded twice before it is served. All in all, the whole experience is overpriced.
The most ridiculous point that made me write a sharing was a email from perhaps the operation manager of the group. It was a courtesy mail saying that they care about my last dining experience and look forward to my next coming. I did sincerely replied it with what I said above, however, the mail returned that the email address sending the courtesy mail does not exit! I do wonder if the manager named Roy Li really exist. What to say!
My booking was on a rather late hour (1.45 pm) and when we start our buffet, it is almost 2 pm and most of the food is either finished or like leftovers. the total cost of the lunch for 4 persons were HK$1947. Food in the buffet bar is quite standard, including Salads, seafood like shrimp, emerald Snail, smoke Salmon and clams. There is also roasted beef but it was all done and never replenish. There is quite a lot of cheese to choose from.
