仍記得晚市禁令但都想在外慶祝,我倆在IFC的【Isola】睇住日落嘆Borgata、食意粉,夕陽無限好!去到IFC搵餐廳嘅時候,雖然餐廳位於IFC樓層最邊邊嘅位置,但係醒目嘅門面招牌一眼就望到,唔算難搵!入到去就見到酒吧區,再行入啲就係主要用餐區。餐桌間隔距離非常足夠,燈光亮度啱啱好,成晚坐低用餐體驗非常好。餐牌入面既食物有好多選擇,令我覺得出奇既係呢度既價錢都不屬昂貴。前菜餐包︰經典嘅意式餐前包,餐包籃內有幾款唔同口感嘅包,配搭橄欖油同意式黑醋填少少胃,份量啱啱好。嗰晚特別肚餓,嗌咗三個main course兩個人share嚟食。好似好大食咁喔。🍃Pappardelle al rage di ossonico意式會牛膝自家製大闊條麵 $248Homemade pappardelle, ossobuco ragout, rosemary leaves第一道菜係牛面頰闊條面,牛面頰煮得非常稔滑,面條巨形得嚟掛汁掛得非常好非入味。牛肉醬汁亦好足夠,成份pasta夠哂濕潤唔會乾爭爭咁,pasta嚟講非常滿意!🍃Borgata溫泉蛋風乾豬面頰肉水牛芝士餅 $198第二道菜係溫泉蛋風乾豬面頰肉水牛芝士餅,篤穿蛋漿令成個pizza昇華咗幾個層次。每一件薄餅都俾香滑既蛋汁滲透。其中風乾豬面頰帶重咗個味,所以整體味道偏鹹,適合重口味人嘗試呢個pizza無論係餅底厚度、餅底脆度、餡料味道同配搭度嚟講,比起我食過某啲好出名嘅pizza專門店更加好味,極力推薦!🍃Crostata do Manson 澳洲肉眼扒配薯蓉及時蔬 $388Australia boneless Ribeye, intense and juicy, Mixed green, crispy potatoes嗌咗medium boneless Ribeye,火侯啱啱好,牛肉嫩滑得嚟又唔會有好多血水。旁邊個配醬微甜微鹹,同塊扒好Match。等待是絕對值得的,除了口感十足外,竟然還充滿著脂香,而且肉質嫩腍,令人意外,不過記得注意一點是千萬不要放得太久,因為放耐左口感跟味道會大大不同。配菜係烤焗薯角,旁邊再配咗啲有啲似wasabi嘅蘸粉,幾特別。🍃Pistachio mousse with rhubarb jelly $98最尾甜品係Sinfonia di pistacchio,碟上擺盤好靚,開心果慕絲加一球雪球同埋少少rasperry配搭得唔錯,唔會死甜得嚟有rasperry平衡返個清爽度。食完呢餐飯,想起朋友分享的一個愛情故事,因為這間餐廳太有Feel了,「當方塊喜歡上一個圓」 看懂了人生觀又更成熟了。「方塊」為了變成「圓球」喜歡的樣子不斷改變,從方塊變成圓球、多面體、錐形,一次次的打磨自己。「一個不愛你的人,不管你為她如何改變,終究改變不了她不愛你的事實」、「你努力變成她喜歡的樣子,她卻努力的離開」、「活出屬於自己的形狀,因為有一天你會找到愛你這形狀的人」。「方塊」的追愛之路漫長曲折,在不斷的改變中迷失了自己。為了追求自己心愛的人,你會選擇改變自己迎合她(他)嗎? 繼續閱讀

Most delicious Italian meal I have had in a while. We booked via dining city for their lunch set menu at HKD288 pp. Swipe to the end for the view an menu!The highlight for me was the Taglionlini al granchio (Homemade tagliolini, crab meat, child, slated lemon) (+ HKD38)The sauce was delicious, love the delicious fresh and sweet flavour of crab and seafood. There were also a very generous amount of crab meat and the texture of the taglolini was bouncy with just the right amount of chew. Great value of money and would recommend! The Caserecce con salsiccia e porcini was delicious too, super hearty bold flavours, yet still a very delicate and refined dish, with a delicious aroma from the porcini mushrooms! The Sicilian casarecce fresh pasta is quick thick and chewy which is quite unique as well!As for the appetisers, I loved the combination of confit tomatoes and roasted aubergine with the mild flavours of the burrataThe slow cooked sliced veal loin was super tender and moist and a great combo with the tuna foam and love the bold flavours of the caper flowers! Must also mention their focaccia, super soft and fluffy with a delicious aroma, hands-down the best I have ever had!We also treated ourselves to an extra oyster (HKD48 per piece)super fresh, with a plump and springy texture without being too creamy. Not the super sweet kind, but still delicious, I especially loved its briny and metallic aftertaste.The tiramisu was the perfect finishing touch. The crisp added an extra touch of caramel flavour. Would have like more mascarpone and a more yellowish colour in the cream layer though. Overall, a delicious meal and would love to visit again! 繼續閱讀

This is the first review I've ever written on OpenRice, and I've done it only because I've never ever had an experience in Hong Kong that was more disappointing than this one. I made a reservation one week ahead at this restaurant for a brunch with my wife and my 4 year-old daughter on the Christmas Eve. When we arrived at the restaurant, probably 10 mins earlier than our booking time, we were told by the receptionist that they were too busy to seat us at the moment and asked us to come back later, which I could certainly understand. What I couldn't understand was what happened next, which led to my extreme disappointment. So we took a walk in the IFC mall and came back again on time. The receptionist then led us to a tiny table right next to the kitchen where all the waiters and waitresses kept passing by with either hot dishes or dirty plates on their hands. I've expressed my concern about my daughter's safety to the receptionist and asked her if we could take the other empty table besides us which was more quiet and more spacious. However, we got rejected by the receptionist for the reason that we had only 3 people while there was another group of 4 people coming, and guess what, just a few minutes later, another group of 3 people was seated at that table!!! Excuse me???!!! I couldn't hold my disappointment and asked to speak with the manager, but all I got was just a simple sorry that he will investigate and nothing else. In addition, we spent over 2400+ HKD on our lunch for 5 dishes, and I have to say that the quality of their food was just on average but certainly overpriced. The only two dishes I could give my compliments to were the black truffle pasta and the raw oysters. The beef tenderloin I ordered was overcooked and served on a cold plate (I asked for medium rare but it was nearly well done), and it was chewy like a gum. I only had two bites on the steak and was too disappointed to even bother asking them to replace it. We ended up with asking for the bill without finishing our meal. What's more funny was that on the following day I received a courtesy email from the Isola team saying that they hoped us have enjoyed our experience and asked us for feedback. I replied with my comments and, just same as another guest wrote in his/her review,  my email was also bounced back, too, because this email address could not be found or is unable to receive mail. Dear Isola team, please stop sending out email like this if you really don't want to hear from your customers. Good luck.  繼續閱讀

性價比高呢個環境品質,再呢個價錢真係算唔錯,openrice訂位有九折添。一家三口子諗住食返個聖誕大餐啦,就點左一個海鮮燉湯+龍蝦意粉+各三份扒+酒水。海鮮燉湯:個湯份量啱啱好,亦開胃,就係味道稍微有點兒淡。但係整體唔錯。龍蝦意粉🍝:味道濃味,龍蝦已經起好晒肉,搭配買蕃茄仔,極力推介。安格斯配黑松露、鵝肝:因為點左medium  well所以過於柴,但係鵝肝好味。和牛牛扒:極力推介,肉質鮮嫩多汁,搭配薯蓉簡直一流。西冷牛扒:全場性價比最高。適合一個人黎dinner唔知食乜嘅朋友。最後,紅酒價格合適,鍾意飲酒嘅朋友可以黎嘗試下。 繼續閱讀

Isola 係一間主打食意大利菜嘅餐廳, 餐廳除咗serve la carte menu之外, 午餐有做semi buffet, 食客可以選擇只吃buffet bar 的食物, 或者額外加錢選擇一款主菜。🎀Buffet bar 的食物種類不少, 有凍海鮮🦐丶龍蝦 🦞丶長腳蟹🦀, 各款的沙律前菜🥬, 餐湯🥣丶肉眼扒🥩和甜品🧁, 用料新鮮和調味好。留意buffet 的甜品🍰會有機會於refill後轉款, 所以如果你真係好鍾意食嗰一款, 可以攞咗先。今次我揀咗 buffet + main:🦞Linguine with lobster ~ pasta軟硬度適中, 龍蝦丶蟹肉配合用新鮮花茄做嘅醬汁, 清新而不油膩 🦬Slow cooked beef cheek ~  牛臉頰肉炆得好淋, 但不是有太大驚喜 🐟Sea bass fillet ~ 魚柳新鮮, 但味道一般 繼續閱讀
