暑期開始了,但25/7或之前至少還有嫲嫲幫手,之後誓必更加大鑊!所以上週三趁還有空,一連兩場先到 The Mira COCO 品嚐新出夏日風情下午茶,後到 九龍海逸君綽酒店 22週年暨香港回歸20載祝酒會,十分愉快~ 雖然志在見面聚談多於美食,但也由 COCO 的下午茶開始介紹吧!「Exotic Summer Afternoon Tea 暢遊異國夏午茶」由7月3日至8月25日,下午3時至6時於 COCO(週一至五)或 Whisk(週六)供應,收費$428兩位,Mira Plus會員專享75折優惠。 下午茶主題及重點在於矜貴以人手採摘、以維多利亞女王命名的菠蘿,所以特別挑選了夏日特飲的 Lemongrass infused Pineapple,成品香甜中又透出香茅的清新芳香,十分消暑討好!其餘點心鹹甜比例平均,內容也挺吸引。 首先要趁凍享用 Gazpacho Chilled Avocado Soup with Seared Chipotle Shrimp,大蝦與牛油果的組合鮮爽美味,而營養豐富的牛油果原來還有減肥功效,姊妹們萬不能錯過!Smoked Turkey & Cheese Mini Burger 用上低脂健康的火雞肉,成品精緻又美味。茶點還包括 Balik Salmon on Cucumber with Dried Fruit Cream Cheese,以及 Roasted Beef & Brie Cheese Sandwich Skewer,煙三文魚及牛肉分別襯以青瓜及芝士蔬果串,份外清新。 甜品環節,超愛鬆脆美味 Cranberry Scone,襯上 Mango Jasmine Tea Jam 及忌廉太棒了!也不能錯過重點推介、可愛又好吃的 Victoria Pineapple, Combawa from Reunion Island and Coconut Cupcake,另外 Panna Cotta Mango – Passion Fruit from Reunion Island 亦酸甜滑溜、極富熱情風情。最後清脆流心的 Japanese Sudachi Lime Tart 以及細滑迷人 French Peach Compote and Madagascar Vanilla Cheese Cake 也很合心意,全部KO了! 我們4人分享了二人下午茶後,又額外品嚐了兩款甜點,令這趟下午茶聚更甜蜜。首先是全新椰子斑蘭 cupcake:COCO 的杯子蛋糕向來鬆軟潤澤,質感一流,這回加上芳香法國維多利亞菠蘿、來自French Reunion外島的柑橘水果,配上斑蘭獨有香氣,造型又耀目、非常迷人! 另一款 柚士芝士蛋糕,採用馬拉加斯加雲呢拿製作,又香又滑、超高水準,令人欲罷不能,難怪成為今年HOFEX金獎甜品!甜魔來到,必點必試之選啊~ 下午茶在室內進行,根本沒留意到外邊突然變天,下起大雨來!還好 The Mira 細心送上雨傘,力保我們順利抵達下場。謝謝啊~ 繼續閱讀

昨天爸爸開始正式放假,帶小兄妹到D. Park瘋玩玩彈床,玩的累,負責拍攝及事後推車仔回家的兩口子也幾乎散掉!所以傍晚特別帶了The Mira COCO的聖誕甜點回家,既是分享甜蜜,也是補充體力。打開美美的餅盒,見到排到整修精緻的甜品,未食已經先興奮!當仔細拆開甜品,原來還有更多驚喜位:Santa's Favourite Cheesecake 味道香濃柔滑,又有香脆的金寶及清新士多啤梨作陪襯,那口味讓我想起洲際SteakHouse的Strawberry Trio! 紅色的Christmas Snow Ball Art也漂亮精緻,兼附另外一包朱古力醬,可加熱再傾倒在朱古力球上,造成「毀滅地球」的效果。而在朱古力殻中,有著大量清新莓果、無花果及脆金寶,口感繽紛甜美又帶清新,很妙~最後銀灰的負圓球內,盛載了5粒香濃好吃的朱古力 Truffles,正好一家四口連姐姐每人一粒;還有極多的朱古力脆珠粒,就非常不公平的給獨食妹妹壟斷了!看了影片嗎?覺得媽媽很慘?錯錯錯,可憐爸爸之後再問妹妹,只分到一小粒呢!店內尚有多款精緻吸引的聖誕甜品,大家這幾天有時間也可以去買來吃啊~ 最後,祝大家佳節愉快,過一個甜蜜蜜的快樂聖誕! 繼續閱讀

To close this summer, they offer Matcha afternoon tea for two till end of September.The appearance of tea set is up to standard and the portion is good enough with 10 varieties. Most of them added with Matcha styles e.g. Matcha muffin, Matcha tart, Matcha pudding....They also serve with hot Matcha as a welcome in Japanese tradition, it is very rich; however, it came after the tea set.Here are the highlights of the best and the worst:The best of tea set:Top 1: Matcha latte pudding with strong flavor and prefect level of sweetnessTop 2: Matcha elixir on Lamington. You may decide the amount of Matcha being injected into the Lamington. This is the fun part.The worst of the tea set:1. The toast is cold and not crispy, without any Matcha flavor except it is in light green color. If they would prepare it not in advance, it will be great.2. Too plain for the Matcha soba noodle, you can't tell that you are eating soba.In general, I appreciate the Chef to create this special tea set; just to remember not too over, some fusion is not good with Matcha. 繼續閱讀

慶祝美麗華集團60周年及香港貿發局的Hong Kong in Fashion活動,美麗華酒店在26/9舉行慶祝活動,COCO Cafe Patisserie更推出期限時尚風姿抹茶下午茶,車媽媽及一眾好友當然要來祝賀一番吧! 到場後先由一班舞者表演一輪勁歌熱舞,看得一眾賓客情緒高漲! 而酒店亦隨之推出CENTRESTAGE x COCO時尚風姿抹茶下午茶,下午茶由即日起至9月30日下午3時至6時逢星期日至五於 COCO供應,逢星期六亦於Whisk供應,即日起至9月9日$448兩位,9月10日後$428/兩位。 就由閃閃生輝的巨型閃鑽及時尚高跟鞋帶領我們走進下午茶的世界吧! 先由侍應為我們送上一杯幽香抹茶,盡顯日式茶道風味配襯這個日式下午茶當然係最佳拍檔啦!9月9日前來便可品嚐得到。 喝過清幽抹茶後下午茶架亦已送到我們的面前,配合優雅時尚的高跟鞋光是賣相已經贏了! Fashion-Passion是一杯由宇治抹茶加熱情果汁來調配的特飲,喝下除了有一幽抹茶清香外更有一絲酸甜的味道,像我這個愛酸的人必定歡喜若狂! 下午茶鹹甜點各有四款,加上質感可口非常的抹茶鬆餅成件事實在滿足非常! 鹹點中有清爽的芝麻抹茶蕎麥麵,香口惹味的香辣鮮蝦抹茶軟芝士撻,及意大利鱈魚配抹茶麵包,和夠曬特別的辣椒羊乳芝士杯子蛋糕,當中我就最喜歡香辣鮮蝦抹茶軟芝士撻,入口香濃惹味好吸引㗎! 而甜品就分別有我大愛的香濃軟滑韓式抹茶拿鐵奶凍,清新迷人的抹茶柚子林明頓,及賣相超精緻用上越南40% 白朱古力製成的Metallic Moonlight,以及宇治抹茶紅豆芝麻杯子蛋糕。 這天到來的賓客酒店亦送上這支超級可愛的Baby Moët香檳作禮物真是十分有心思呀! 繼續閱讀

Recently tried the Fashion Matcha afternoon tea at COCO to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the MIRA DINING GROUP. I admit that I haven't dined at MIRA DINING outlets for a while and I have missed so much, they have come up with some really mouth watering and unique items such the chocolate durian tart, pandan waffles and even chocolate mustard for their meat pairings. Guests are greeted with a green tea ceremony to start with. The Matcha afternoon tea managed to impress me even though I am not mad about Matcha. It was the Matcha that I liked because it wasn't grassy. Presented with this stylish tea set, I always start with the savouries, moving onto the scones and then the sweets. The savouries and sweets were equally as good which was good.Starting with the savouries there was: roasted capsicum cupcake with goat cheese topping, matcha cream cheese with spicy cajun shrimp toast, baccola (salty cod) rilettes with sesame, matcha soba noodle salad with sesame. The savouries were all fantastic but the roasted capsicum cupcake with goat cheese topping was the most memorable because the savoury cupcake was really tasty and the velvety cheese topping was divine. Moving on to the Korean Matcha Cranberry Scone with homemade Orange Jam flavoured with Japanese Sudachi Lime, it was heavily dusted with Matcha powder that you can see my finger imprint after picking it up!! The pairing of refreshing orange jam was a match made in heaven because there was a lot of solid orange pieces in the jam and it wasn't bitter complemented with fluffy whipped cream. The Trendy Sweets comprised of: Taiwanese Matcha Elixir on Lamington & Yuzu, “Metallic Moonlight” Kyoto Uji Matcha infused in Vietnamese 40% White Chocolate Tart, Golden Wire Korean Matcha Latte Pudding by Executive Pastry Chef Jean-Marc Gaucher. Finished with the Fashion passion drink which was a concoction of passionfruit and green tea.
