I tried cedele's savory items - I think they are just ok. But their cakes are to die for and underrated. Why aren't more people talking about these fanstastic cakes? The pandan cake is hands down the best pandan cake (at least if you like cakes with more of a crumb and some density) is hands down the best pandan cake I've ever had. It is such a western interpretation of the otherwise spongey eggy pandan cake you get elsewhere, and it works really well and creates something special. It had yummy frosting too! The second cake to write home about is the carrot walnut cake - again with a chock-full of quality ingredients and delicious cream cheese frosting it is another one of cedele's one of a kind specials.Another item worth trying is their cheese and scallion scones, made with whole wheat flour - again driving their healthy food message and providing customers with something special. The other items such as their soups, sandwiches and salads are just ok - I prefer the shop next over Pret for those things. 繼續閱讀

Extremely poor service just like the KFCs I had experienced in China. But in a HK luxury mall? I really can't believe it!Names of their product were not consistent, just like other restaurants and cafes naming their products some funny names which were not easy to understand, and therefore often led to confusion.I ordered a sandwich and they gave me something else. There were two types of sandwiches on the menu, namely "supreme pizza sandwiches" and "supreme sandwiches" ( translated from Chinese). There were only two chicken on the "sandwich" menu, one was "chicken pesto supreme pizza sandwiches" and the other "chicken avocado supreme sandwiches"I asked for a chicken avocado in Chinese, and the staff confirmed it in English, so the rest of conversation was in English, the staff asked me to choose one of the 4 types of bread, just by reading the names, I didn't understand what the difference was between those bread, so I pointed at the wrap and asked what type of bread was that, and the answer was a "wrap" so I said I wanted the "wrap" and thought I was going to get a chicken avocado wrap. When it was made, I saw on my receipt a word "pesto", so I checked and found out they gave me a chicken pesto sandwich. I was not mad and still very calm, I explained to the staff who served me politely that I wanted a chicken avocado they had given me a different thing and then there came another staff who seemed to be trying to understand my situation, but didn't at all. I think he was pretending. Read and you will know why.Second staff immediately said they would make me another sandwich after I repeated myself of the situation, and looked at the takeaway box and said the first staff had done me a favour.  I didn't understand, but now know he was just talking nonsense. I then said there was no avocado, it wasn't what I wanted, and repeated that I want chicken avocado, how did the other staff get me wrong. He said they don't sell that product (the chicken avocado wrap). I said the staff should have said that when taking order. He didn't let me finish the sentence and said it was okay they would make me another one. He then confirmed what I wanted in Chinese. I didn't check after they had made me another one, but when I got home I had another CHICKEN PESTO!! The difference was, first chicken pesto I got was dry crispy wrap and the second was a wet softer wrap.  I started feeling angry for the following reasons:1. Having been living in the UK for over 10 years and read Law at uni in London, IELTS all scored 8 or 9 years ago, my English is not perfect but definitely not bad at all. I don't think we have any language barrier during our conversation, but rather judgement and impatience from the staff. They obviously did not pay any attention to what customer need. Some people are weird, they insist on speaking English even you started a conversation with them in Chinese, especially in some high end area, but in the middle of the conversation they would change it to Chinese. This is not very nice.2. The Second staff, after I had explained what went wrong, immediately agreed to make me another one, but then  challenged what I had said. I don't think the first offer he made was sincere, but just an automatic response when a customer finds a problem. What they should do instead, when dealing with customer, is to listen patiently.3. They never admitted  their mistake, no apologies at all. 4. A Wrap is a Wrap, just call it A WRAP! Why would they call it a SUPREME PIZZA sandwich? Guess what it appears on the receipt?Flatbread! And I never got my chicken avocado supreme sandwich, GOD knows what it looks like?  If you like calling the stuff funny names, then explain when you are asked!
