I try not to review the same place twice. In Cafe O's case, however, they've substantially changed the menu. It's a different place. So I decided to give the new version a try.I ordered 'The Californian' sandwich, which, according to the menu, contains 'grilled chicken, avocado, tomato, bacon, swiss cheese, herb aioli'. The menu is lies. The sandwich does not contain avocado. Major disappointment and one of the big selling points of the sandwich. The tomato was substandard, and I thought the bacon was insufficiently crispy. The bread was nicely grilled and crispy. I had no complaints about the chicken. I thought on the whole it was a little overly sauced but that's mostly a personal thing. I'd give it a C+ (i.e. fine, OK, whatever). My wife got the Cuban. I'd have gotten this, but I wanted to order something different. According to the menu, the sandwich contains 'pulled pork, ham, mustard, pickles, swiss cheese.' What did I tell you about the menu? Lies. There are no pickles on the sandwich. She thought it was really good, with the exception of the missing pickles. That's a crucial ingredient for a Cuban sandwich, in my book. I'm giving the sandwich a B (docked from B+ for no pickles)-- good.Hey, it's hard to find decent sandwiches in Sheung Wan. I'm not a fan of the sandwiches at Il Bel Paese (their pasta is OK); I refuse to eat at the Subway that rips you off, intentionally; after Meli Melo became a crepe place I soured on their sandwiches. There's really not much else (please don't say 'Grove'). So don't get me wrong, this place is a net positive for the area. But it's only so-so and someone needs to teach the people preparing the food how to read the menu. Final note: I have a short fuse when it comes to so-called cafes that have so-called iced tea on the menu, but don't have any clue what iced tea is. Like, it's not just hot tea poured on ice, so you get warm tea with no ice in it. And it doesn't have milk in it. I've been going to Cafe O to work (free wifi) and I have to explain this almost every time. Some things never change. 繼續閱讀

Bagels are my favourite kind of bakery for breakfast. Not many restaurants serve multigrain bagel and few prepare them well by perfect toasting and putting in generous amount of cream cheese in the bagel for you before you eat. Each multigrain bagel costs $20, with additional $6 you can get the cream cheese. There is free lemon water upstairs that you can help yourself with. The service is good, and this cafe's atmosphere makes you feel comfortable and can sit there as long as you like. Good cafe for a budget and guaranted breakfast.

Cafe O is a modern international cafe and restaurant in Hong Kong offering a wide range of bakery, sandwiches, pastas, pizza and beverages. Cafe O opened its first flagship store in 2004 at Arbuthnot Road, Central, and is still mainly located at the western region of Hong Kong Island. Distinguishing itself from its surrounding fast food style cafes, Cafe O serves hot food such as egg Benedict's, pasta and pizza.I went to the Cafe O at Queens Road Central, it is closer to Sheung Wan in my opinion. It is very easy to spot Cafe O from its brightly contrasted Red and White furnishing. I went to this Cafe O because it is a 2 floored cafe and I knew it would be very spacious. There is cucumber water available at the self service area on the second floor. There are lots of daily sets available, you can check the little bill board above the display cooler, or just ask the server for help.Once you have placed your order, a number plate will be given to you, and you just need to sit and wait for your food to arrive.Chicken BLAT Panini + Soup Set - HKD58For the panini set, three types of bread are available for choice - baguette, whole wheat sandwich and Focaccia.I chose Focaccia to go with my grilled chicken. The sandwich was toasty and flavourful with grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, tomato, avocado, bacon, sundries tomato aioli. The salad was fresh and crisp with Vinegrette dressing. The snack strip at the side tasted rather funny, I have no idea what that is.Pumpkin & Ginger SoupThe pumpkin soup was delicious! It was very rich, creamy and mushy, most importantly it was real gingery! The focaccia bread was served cold and hence rather stiff in texture and lacking the lovely herby oil on top.Arrabiata Pasta Set + Juice Blend - HKD62+HKD34My Arrabiata linguini arrived with a lovely aroma permeating the air. However even without tasting the linguini, I can already sense the linguini was over cooked from it's swollen size. The sauce, herby with a mild spiciness, was delicious and addicting but a bit too saucy.Green EnvyI feel like a green juice, so I ordered the Green Envy which is a blend of spinach, kale, green apple, parsley, Lemon and cucumber. This was indeed a very green juice with green froth on top. It was surprisingly delicious, fruity from the apple and a slight sourness from the lemon.I would say Cafe O is definitely a better choice than the chain Cafés in Hong Kong. The food choice are much better and the environment is more relaxing. It is not the place I would bring my book but definitely for a lunch bite and to work outside the office. 繼續閱讀

Strolled by on a sunday morning. There used to be a cafe O in wanchai jaffe road, but they closed! So this place brings back memories. They had really good pizza! Happy to know they also serve breakfast. Ordered an omelette. It was awesssomee!!! Totally rejuvenating. Feel all energized!Eggs weren't overdone.. AND it came with salsa & guacamole.. can't beat that!Thoughtout my seating there were lots of people coming in and grabbing takeout. This area is quiet and residential. I like this area.$66 for a breakfast. Didn't come with a drink, that was fine. 繼續閱讀
