年初四、2月15日、公眾假期、星期一的中環、人流本身就不多, 加上這是後街內的一家小小的店,只有十來個座位, 最合年初四的清晨,福福郎和朋友來靜靜的吃一個早餐。。。Omelette Basque $119為什麼我會選這個早餐? 就是被它名稱上的「西班牙」三字吸引著。。。 記得很多年前去過西班牙的巴斯克地區,看到 「chorizo」這個字 便想起了當年在西班牙吃著用 chorizo 辣肉腸做的精緻多元Tapas (小食) 和 喝著sangria 水果紅酒 的畫面,美好時光一下子全部都在腦海浮現出來了 !! 真的,到現在還歷歷在目、記憶猶新!話說回頭 ,這個西班牙巴斯克式(Basque style)奄列裏面有蝦、西班牙辣肉腸 chorizo、white cheddar 白芝士、 julienne peppers及炒洋葱等,配料十分豐富。。。奄列用了三隻雞蛋製作, 一切開熱辣辣的蛋皮,便會看到裏面豐富的餡料, 雖然外觀跟其他的奄列沒有什麼分別, 但吃下去的時候, 半瘦帶肥的辣肉腸片帶出了一種鹹鹹香香的味道, 有一種吃家鄉臘腸的感動, 忽然感受到一股很「牛亅的過年氣氛!Crêpe of the month - Chestnuts $89這個是店家的推介。。。 Signature Sweet 法式甜薄餅 !其實好多人不知道, 這種薄餅甜的才叫Crêpe , 鹹的應該是叫 Galette 。。。 不過既然這是一家加拿大餐廳, 那就入鄉隨俗,不作考究了!栗子蓉有一些甜。。。 幸好餅皮沒有很甜,剛好中和了兩者的甜味,balanced 了!過新年偶然讓自己放肆一下, 吃點sweet tooth, 心情也會變得開朗一點!農曆新年特撰:凍鴛鴦(Yuen Yeung) Frappuccino $58這個做得不錯! 我覺得很有驚喜。。。店員說這個是農曆新年的限定飲品 , 那麼特別,當然要一試! 西式奶茶混咖啡。。。 坦白說,咖啡味是比較「搶鏡亅的, 但伯爵茶味剛好中和了咖啡的苦澀味, 店家也沒有弄得飲品很甜、很 feminine, 相反還保留了一點點 雄性咖啡豆剛強的性格 , 卻又矛盾地加了冰。。。把它做成一道凍飲 ,so paradox & contradictory 。。。 But ,其實 不用想得太複雜,就當回它是一杯好喝的凍咖啡就夠了!Hm... 一口喝下去很清新、很解渴,可以說是味道調配得剛好, 很配合我今天的奄列早餐和 合我口味!。。。🦉最後,就祝大家有一個平安、愉快、健康的新年!食完 Café ,就可以飛! 出到中環買野順便食個tea滿足下,解除近日繃緊情緒。係門外見到呢間店既open kitchen ,店員整緊crepe望落好吸引,於是就入左去食。Pan Bagnat香煎吞拿魚配火箭菜法式三文治 ($88)一打開就見到法包塗有一層薄薄既牛油,烤得非常香脆,滿滿既餡料平均分佈,點樣切點share都啖啖材料。我鍾意佢吞拿魚係一塊塊唔係碎濕濕,唔會太咸,蛋都係一片片唔係蛋沙律,可以品嚐到每樣野既原味道!加埋火箭菜夠晒fresh!Butterscotch Apple Crisp蘋果金寶配奶油醬及香草雪糕($109)Crepe 都係食鍾意食甜多D,滿滿軟腍既蘋果粒,好濃郁既肉桂味,加上奶油醬同拖肥脆脆,好有口感,而熱既crepe配凍冰冰既雪糕更加顯得有層次,好味。個crepe 真係煎得唔錯,夠薄,皮邊帶點脆感。Matcha Latte 抹茶鮮奶 (HK$48)上面既抹茶粉好濃, 好重鮮奶味~飲到底依然係咁濃咁香。拉花好靚打卡一流。Nutella Hot Chocolate 榛子朱古力(HK$48)好邪惡,榛子味濃再加上面有舊朱古力醬既cream,睇住D cream 慢慢融係熱熱既朱古力度好治癒,咁樣仲令到杯朱古力更加滑。呢度服務質素仲好高,店員會幫我地先上咸食,食完先再上甜食,可見佢地要非常留意顧容既動靜。而且全部店員都非常有禮貌,難怪呢間店舖咁受歡迎! 繼續閱讀

朋友忙中抽空聚一聚, 就決定嚟佢公司附近搵間舒服cafe坐低嘆吓~ 💭幻想走入了巴黎小巷嘅咖啡小店... 🇫🇷 (現實喺處於🇭🇰中環鬧市中尋找舒適嘅角落坐低傾下偈🤭) ▶️Matcha Latte 抹茶鮮奶🍵 (HK$48) 好靚嘅拉花, 即刻要相機先食📸抹茶味好重, 香濃奶味~▶️Nutella Hot Chocolate 榛子朱古力(HK$48) 冬天飲杯朱古力即刻warm曬😚上面嘅cream係凍㗎, 又凍又熱嘅感覺好正~ ▶️Baguette: Moulin Rouge 🥖油封鴨配布里芝士法式三文治 (HK$98)好長嘅法包‼️裏面都好足料, 油封鴨肉幾特別, 一啲都唔鞋, 配咗用意大利醋醃嘅車厘子, 令到整體感覺完全唔會滯, 再加埋新鮮火箭菜同埋brie cheese, 好食😋▶️Crêpe: Butterscotch Apple Crumble 蘋果金寶奶油醬及香草雪糕 (HK$109)朋友好鍾意食甜品, 佢超讚賞呢個Crêpe, 即叫即製‼️香草雪糕嘅雲呢拿味都幾出, perfect match with Apple Crumble💯🍎💬加拿大過江龍法式Cafe, 咸甜主食兼備~ 中環店暫時只開一層, 座位唔多, 但坐得舒服, 女店員好友善~ 洗手間乾淨企理~•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 繼續閱讀

約咗朋友嚟中環吃頓早午餐,友人提議試下威靈頓街呢間主打法式薄餅嘅專門店。餐廳樓高三層,底層是廚房,地下及一樓是用餐區,而近門口處更設有一個向街的 Open Kitchen,路經的途人都可觀賞到大廚在店內製作 Crêpe,相當吸引!聽朋友講,餐廳係加拿大過江龍,主打法式可麗餅,有鹹有甜,任君選擇,另外亦有漢堡包、三文治、沙律及意粉等供應。我哋點咗一份早餐,另外再加咗一客甜味法式薄餅同兩杯飲品。先嚟嘅早餐:早晨法式薄餅 Le Sunrise Crêpe ($85)  賣相雖然有點平實,但食落原來味道很不錯。餅皮呈淺黃色,煎得夠薄又不失彈性,入口帶麵粉香。切開可以見到餅皮入面包滿了炒蛋、煙肉、菠菜和牛油果等。煙肉鹹香柔嫩、菠菜新鮮翠綠、牛油果 Creamy 幼滑,配埋富韌性的餅皮一齊食,超美味。至於另一客甜味法式薄餅:蘋果金寶配奶油醬及香草雪糕  Butterscotch Apple Crumble ($109)  水準亦不俗。餅皮微焦香脆,輕薄有層次,蘋果芳香酸甜,配埋香口的金寶脆粒和滑溜的香草雪糕吃,非常滋味。飲品方面,友人點了 Matcha Latte ($48) 而我就揀咗杯 Nutella Latte ($46)。前者嘅抹茶香氣,十分迷人,味道香濃回甘;而榛子鮮奶咖啡質感亦非常順滑,甜而不膩,入口帶淡淡榛子香!希望遲啲疫情好轉,可以約多幾個朋友一齊嚟打卡。 繼續閱讀

Good places must be revisited. This Cafe Crepe was one of them. Unlike the branch in TST, this one was a cafe with service. Having tried their savoury crepe last time, we decided to try something else. There were 4 types of baguettes and we chose the one commonly found in French cuisine, i.e., Duck confit.Moulin Rouge 油封鴨配布里芝士法式三文治 $98+10%It was served on a grilling plate and portion was like a typical baguette. The upper part was quite crispy while the lower part was a bit soft to eat.  There were quite a lot of stuffings made from chopped duck confit accompanied by some fresh rocket (also called arugula), a few fresh blueberries, some brie in balsamic vinegar. The flavour was quite refreshing as it was dominated by the sweet balsamic vinegar. After finishing half, I did not find it heavy at all.Cafe Gourmand 黑朱古力配蘭姆酒汁及特濃咖啡忌廉芝士 $98+10%Sweet crepe was a must to end the meal. Their crepe was warm and soft as always.  At first, I was a bit worried that this flavour of dark chocolate rum sauce and expresso cream cheese would be bitter but it turned out to be a good balance between chocolate and coffee so that it was sweet but not overly. It was basically sweet chocolate flavour highlighted by coffee. Even me who was never a fan of coffee liked it. There was an appropriate amount of chocolate sauce and chips sprinkled over the plate. The biscotti garnish on top was crunchy too. If we had topped up for ice cream, it must have been even better.We also ordered two coffees. Their premium coffee was imported from Europe and they offered de-caffeine option! So even me could try their coffee. Affogato 意式雪糕加特濃咖啡 $58+10%As both of us also craved ice cream, we ordered this coffee. When they were served to us, we thought they were hot but in fact they were cold. Surprise! The ice cream scoop was vanilla flavour and was very smooth! High quality. Their coffee smelt super good. Eating the ice cream with their coffee was just like eating a dessert with the melting ice cream adding loads of smoothness to the coffee. They also added three coffee beans which were so crispy and bitter but eating everything together gave it quite a good balance so that it was not too bitter or sweet. Both of us liked this drink a lot!We were quite satisfied with the food this time, especially the coffee related ones! A good light meal to celebrate Xmas! Merry X'mas despite COVID-19! 繼續閱讀
