今年夏天的香港餐廳周,一如以往,揀了兩間餐廳光顧。 第一間是位於尖沙咀北京道1號29樓,擁有無敵海景,可把香港島由上環到北角一帶都盡收眼底,室內環境舒適,裝潢富麗堂皇的 Aqua。 先嚐麵包,四款不同種類的麵包,熱度足夠,塗以軟滑的牛油,先行喚醒沉睡的味蕾。兩夫妻都點了「安格斯牛肉他他配新鮮蕃茜醬,鵪鶉蛋及油浸蕃茄」作為頭盤之選。賣相精緻的頭盤,挺開胃的,是道稱職的前菜。又是安格斯牛肉,是「美國安格斯肉眼伴黑菌醬燒肉汁」。這主菜是我的選擇,約有六、七片的安格斯肉眼,雖然切得薄而不厚,肉味倒沒受到多大影響,味道仍濃,配以濃味的黑菌醬燒肉汁,濃上加濃,可還不錯。 老婆仔的「意大利牛肝菌雲吞配芝士湯,燒小洋蔥及檸檬油」有三件牛肝菌雲吞,份量不是太多,雖然這主菜賣相悅目吸引,但芝士湯汁味道不太突出,相比起另一道主菜,自然被比下去。 「榛子雪糕配特濃咖啡」濃郁的咖啡味道,咖啡份量,甘苦程度由客人自己決定,愛甜的下少些,愛吃苦的倒多些,不過無論如何,夾雜著大大小小榛子碎粒的榛子雪糕肯定是 Espresso極為合拍的夥伴。 完全是日本風味的「日本黑芝麻雪糕配紅豆蓉伴綠茶曲奇」把芝麻、紅豆、綠茶三樣吃日本甜品常見的元素一網打盡,東灜風情盡在其中,紅豆、綠茶、黑芝麻三色俱備,味道甜美,愛吃日系甜品的話必定喜歡。也許,這天所吃的午餐不算非常出色,但能在漂亮的室內環境下,遠眺維港與港島對岸的美麗景色,即使這天天氣不那麼好,厚厚的雲層時常把陽光遮蓋 ,偶爾還灑下點點雨絲,我還是吃得挺滿意的。 繼續閱讀

It was my friend's birthday and I wanted to take her somewhere fancy. While searching for restaurant, I found out that aqua is doing a sunset menu special. This is for you to start the meal at 6pm and finish off at 7:30 so you will get an hour and half to enjoy the view and food. The price was reasonable so it was prefect for me. So I booked a table two weeks ahead. We were so lucky to a window seats on the day! The view was amazing. The place was comfy and cozy, all the staff were friendly and reachable. We sat down and ordered a bottle of water. After ordering, the staff gave us a basket of fresh bread with cream. The bread were warm and crunchy. The texture was soft. I really enjoyed the one with raisins, it was tasty. Our appetisers came awhile later, the tempura were delicious! The coating was thin and crunchy. They tasted so good with the seaweed and truffle miso sauce. The other one was Burrata and Parma ham with watermelon. The burrata was smooth and cheesy. The Parma ham was tasty and not too salty. I wrapped the burrata and watermelon with the Parma ham, and that tasted so good. Our first main course was the grilled teriyaki Agnes beef rib eye, it was amazingly good! The rib eye was tender and juicy. After a few bites, it melted in my mouth. Everything was cooked perfectly. The sauce was delicious! I dipped the potato wedges and cherry tomatoes with the sauce. The rangers valley beef cheek was something new to me, I had never tasted anything like that before. The beef cheek was super soft! We can actually separate it with a spoon, the meat was soft and easy to chew. The flavour was spot on as well. I quite like this dish. To finish off, I got the aqua's special dessert platter because not only we get to try a wild range of desserts but I could also ask the staff to write a special message on it which was of course "Happy Birthday". We were shocked when the platter arrived because we didn't expect that much of food. There were chocolate lava cake, tiramisu, cream brûlée and sorbet. I liked the cream brûlée as it was smooth and full of ginger flavour. The chocolate lava cake was soft an quite sweet. The tiramisu had peanut in the middle and tasted alright. My other favourite was the sorbet, it was sour and icy; it helped to clear up all my flavour in my mouth. 繼續閱讀

懶洋洋的星期天,跟媽媽及蕃茄醬去覓食,最啱就是享受不用自己拎野食既Brunch,先唔講食物,在高高的位置看著維港景色已是一件賞心悅目的事,此brunch叫Just Because,因為just because........Free Flow Champagne 一早起身先來一轉Free Flow Champagne醒一醒神,VCP,帶點蜂蜜甜香..........Share CocktailAqua Queen,好果味青甜既cocktail...啱晒又要飲又怕苦的人。Unlimited Starter以Sharing Platters 既方式安排很好,唔洗行黎行去自己拎,增加大家在飯桌上相聚交談既時間,唔洗在星期日也要用腦諗下夾乜,只是盡情專注分享食物分享時光分享景色。精選壽司刺身冷盤我們點了兩轉,刺身算新鮮,最好食是吞拿魚、油甘魚,其他如蝦刺身/壽司、帶子壽司、翡翠螺......等不過不失。精選意大利拼盤最愛巴馬火腿,配上橄欖已算不錯,如果配上蜜瓜/哈蜜瓜一齊食會更好味;而水牛芝士配蕃茄,當然是蕃茄醬至愛。阿布魯索雲吞濃郁芝士味伴雲吞,濃味芝士又是蕃茄醬至愛,其實食完之前之Starter已經七成飽。Share Main碳燒深海大蝦配燒黃圓椒,之前已經食咗不同的蝦刺身/壽司及凍蝦,此大蝦肉厚仍彈牙;燒羊排配烤薯及露筍伴黑水欖醬,我不食羊,媽媽說羊排剛熟,不會太韌;吉列三文魚配黑菌他他醬,雖然是吉列三文魚,又不會炸得太乾;免治和牛棒伴燒肝配照燒汁,膽固醇萬歲,太邪惡了。Share Dessert有自家製心太軟,Tiramisu,芒果天婦羅,橙味雪葩,櫻花森林..........胃納有限,沒有全部品嚐。 繼續閱讀

There is a new brunch #justbecause at Aqua which is designed for sharing.The basic brunch at $448 lets you sample their Japanese & Italian instaworthy  starters, share mains & dessert.At $598 you can indulge the golden goblet cocktails,  Veuve Clicquot Champagne and more free-flow options.Brunch menu:Bread basket with creamy asparagus mayonnaise.Golden goblet cocktails which you would literally want to put on your head and take a photo!I didn't do that but someone did.Normally I can't drink cocktails but the ones here are quite light and you can't taste the alcohol.My favourite was the Aqua queen because of the cranberry.Aqua King:Aqua Queen:Kowloon park:Unlimited Japanese share platter:As soon as I posted this, people kept asking me where and how much!!Italian starter also unlimited.I loved the prawns, smoked salmon, pickles and the mozzarella cheese.Ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta cheese topped with Parmesan and wild porcini sauce.It was nice and cheesy so it satisfied my cheese craving.To be honest I was quite full from the starters and they were good so you will end up ordering more.Here were the mains, on the Japanese side there was crispy Hokkaido fried salmon, Wagyu beef skewers and foie gras.The Italian option has huge grilled King prawns and juicy grilled lamb chops.The roasted baby potatoes on the side were a killer because it was fluffy in the middle and tasty.The brunch ended with a sweet platter of desserts and the crispy mango rolls and icecream were fantastic.The options above were good enough but you can also upgrade your brunch with tataki sushi and burrata cheese. 繼續閱讀

平時好小去高級餐廳食野,早排係值得慶祝的日子,上到去環境好靚,可以睇到維港夜景。係點餐既時候侍應好有耐性同埋解釋係咩材料加點煮。最後經推薦下叫左豬手,熏三文魚,意粉。到最後最後,不得不提一下經理Steven Lee為我們送上一set甜品,加上佢熱心服務既態度令我地覺得一切都值回票價。多謝Aqua。 繼續閱讀
