如果要尋找一間私隱度高嘅咖啡室,我絕對推介喺銅鑼灣Tower 535呢一度有一間唔係廣為人知嘅咖啡西餐廳。一見到佢個門面都幾隱藏下,其實好難發現佢就係Appendix Coffee and Bar,Appendix 嘅意思係解附錄,亦可以解作附加嘅意思。佢裏面嘅美食好明顯唔係主菜或者主流,所帶出嘅意思係一啲點綴物同額外物。每個座位嘅凳pan都好高,變成一塊保護嘅牆,唔會比對外嘅人輕易見到你坐喺度做緊乜嘢。我哋好快趣係餐牌上面發掘到自己想食嘅嘢!令我最好奇嘅大部份好多都係西班牙文,並唔係一般睇得明嘅英文。試咗佢嘅Pincho,Pincho是一種小吃,通常在酒吧裡吃,在西班牙北部是傳統來的。佢嘅配搭好新奇,我一共試左三款,有青椒放在提魚上面,感覺好特別,青椒又唔係辣嘅,魚唔多骨,十分白滑,連埋魚皮食落去幾清新,青椒帶有啲草青味。另外食咗個巴馬火腿配番茄碎醬,蕃茄好清新,整成茸又有不同嘅口感,巴馬火腿鹹鹹地仲有粒橄欖,一齊咬落去,鹹酸苦甜,盡在心頭。每款都只係$18,不錯的開胃好選擇。接著下來講下主食方面,食咗個西班牙海鮮大鍋飯,又釋作炖飯,源于西班牙巴倫西亞,在當地語言是“鍋”的意思,而呢種食品喺當地來講,只會喺耶火節嘅時候食到,可以話係大小適中,完全適合三至四個人食都得,呢邊用上濃厚嘅茄膏,配埋青口,仲有幾塊風乾左嘅火腿乾,食落去脆卜卜。最後我哋都試咗幾款甜品先走,可以話係圓滿嘅一天。 繼續閱讀

湖水綠一直係我最愛既顔色。今日係銅鑼灣行街上左去Tower535睇下有冇廁所去,無意中發現呢間特別既西餐廳。首先,吧抬對住open space,而且非常大。第二,吧枱同進餐地方自成一角。第三,餐廳色調以湖水綠為主,從未見過餐廳採用湖水綠作為主色實在太激動啦我!被餐廳既設計同顔色吸引既我不知不覺就坐低左。進餐地方方面,餐廳全採全梳化,而且係custom made,營造出一個私隱高既環境,每一個梳化既顔色pattern 都唔同,非常有心思。枱下方有插頭位,啱曬我呢嗰出親街電話都秒速無電既人,非常貼心。另外,餐廳既器具同椅子屬於金色,更顯高貴。環境裝修一流,食物同樣有水準。我地叫左兩款lunch set。第一款係海鮮扁意粉配自家製蕃茄醬。賣相相當精緻,蝦新鮮大大隻之餘,肉質示彈牙厚實。另外,蜆肉非常鮮甜,番茄醬唔會過酸,所有食材煮都恰到好處。對於我呢個大胃王黎講份量可以比較少,但女仔食就完全足夠。另外一款就係香煎三文魚,配上藜麥同烤蔬菜。三文魚肉厚嫩滑,唔會煎到乾身,仍然juicy。藜麥係我人生第一次食。口感煙韌,有咬口,可以中和返三文魚本身既肥膩感。可謂出色配搭。雖然我朋友從不沾酒,但仍無阻我飲酒既決心。我叫左一杯magic circle’s rainmaker。特別之處在於上面嘅泡泡,泡泡都有酒味。整體易入口,偏甜,酒精濃度冇咁高。最後埋單要$360左右,考慮到餐廳嘅高貴環境加上高質素嘅食物,呢個價錢唔算過份。我一定會再encore,令我再次沉醉於湖水綠嘅美好。 繼續閱讀

又來到週末,今日行程雖然不算太緊湊,但亦絕不空閒。先要去灣仔打針同睇醫生,然後去新屋打點,再同師傅商討裝修事宜。忙了一個上午,肚子開始打鼓,決定先找間餐廳吃頓午飯,享受片刻悠閒,才繼續行程。記得早排去銅鑼灣一間文青 café 吃 tea,發現旁邊開咗間全天候 Coffee & Bar,據說餐廳朝早係 Café Bar,而夜晚就變身為酒吧,早午晚都有不同餐單,所以決定趁空檔過去試試。餐廳座落於謝斐道 Tower 535,沿著扶手電梯來到 3 樓,店子比預期寬敞,佔地甚廣,空間感十足。用餐區分為兩邊,近 counter 設有一列曲尺吧檯位,而另一邊就以舒適的梳化卡座為主,裝修簡約,加上樓底極高,是區內少有的開揚咖啡店。安坐後先拿起店員送上嘅餐牌,DayLight Menu 以輕食為主,另外亦有 Lunch Idea、Coffee & Non-Coffee 可供選擇。餐廳不設加一,午餐可以散點,亦可以轉 Set,套餐包是日餐湯、咖啡或汽水,如果想轉果汁、Latte 或朱古力之類,則須另 +$5。唔想傷腦筋,就簡簡單單,每一人揀個餐。是日餐湯係周打海鮮湯,湯身不算十分濃稠,但就非常足料,有蜆肉、紅蘿蔔、洋蔥、魚肉等,入口啖啖鮮味,加上少許香草作點綴,除了美觀,亦能增添芬芳。Wild Mushroom Truffle Risotto 黑松露野菌意大利飯 ($128),雜菌先用牛油炒香,再加入意大利米及上湯煮至煙韌有咬口,最後加入黑松露醬。意大利飯嘅乾濕度恰到好處,粒粒軟熟分明,食落 creamy 又帶芝士香,野菌味十分香郁,既新鮮又有咬口,屬推介之選!Honey Roasted Spring Chicken 蜜糖烤春雞 ($158),春雞大約有半隻,外皮色澤金黃,而且烤得剛好,肉質嫩而不會過鞋,入口帶蜜糖甜香,真係好味到停唔到口。配菜有烤薯仔、意大利青瓜同紅蘿蔔等。薯仔薯味突出,而意大利青瓜亦非常好吃,入口甘甜清香,用來做配菜一流。跟餐點了 Latte (+$5) 同橙汁 (+$5),咖啡以自家品牌烘焙,面頭的拉花非常精美,令人賞心悅目。聽說餐廳的 Tapas 亦做得很有水準,或者搵日 Happy Hour 過嚟試下。 繼續閱讀

I think I have discovered a new favorite lunch spot. Located where was once one of my favorite coffee shops comes another one called Appendix Coffee & Bar. There is a seating area on one side facing the windows. Seating though looks nice,  doesn't have a lot of leg room. Though each table does have USB charging stations, but it's very cramped so now a lot of room to move your legs around.Menu is in English only. There is no 10% service charge and ordering is at the bar area where you also pay. They will bring the food to you when ready.As  I was here for lunch, they had a lunch menu available. You can upgrade to a combo which includes a salad, soup and basic coffee or soft drink. Or add $5 for another type of coffee or juice.I didn't feel like a combo so ordered a latte  ($35) and a honey roasted spring chicken ($158).The latte art was nice. The coffee smelled wonderful and there was a nice balance of milk to espresso ratio. It wasn't one of the best coffee in town but it was definitely decent enough.When the chicken arrived, I'm glad I didn't do a combo as the portion size was huge! They gave me a whole spring chicken. I guess I was expecting half a chicken as most places would serve. But I had a whole one. The chicken was fantastic. Juices literally spilled out. Moist and tender, it was so easy to slice into. The marinade was sweet and savory. And the vegetables were actually roasted. Yes, it says roasted vegetables on the menu but how many times have you gone to a place that said it was roasted vegetables and what you got was some soggy poached variety? These serving of vegetables was generous. They were roasted to perfection. Everything was well seasoned.I wasn't expecting much from my lunch but now I know why there are so many happy reviews. The food was fantastic. It was also quiet. Such a wonderful treat in the middle of Causeway Bay. I will be back as this is now my favorite new lunch spot. 繼續閱讀

以湖水綠色和金色作餐廳主色調,成功在原本冷冷的大堂中明確地區分到餐廳區域。開揚的吧枱,每一部分都用得其所。每一張枱的下方都藏有插頭位供客人充電,店家非常明白自己餐廳的定位和客人的需要。簡潔而型格的裝潢之下藏著一份細心。細心亦同樣體現在座位設計中,每一座位都用高身梳化間開,有充足的獨立空間讓你和朋友們暢所欲言而不會同別人眼望望。在餐單上看到很多富有西班牙特式的食物。每樣都想試下,但無奈我地今次只有兩人,精心挑選之下選了最想吃的數款。驚喜是點的每一款都很有水準。Fortune teller混合Aged spirit blend,Mixed spices,Pineapple ,Lemon,Chai tea,最特別是加左奶落去(但睇落去異常清澈),以八角作為點綴,賣相一流。酒味較濃但加上菠蘿和檸檬令杯酒較易入口和層次豐富。Pincho是西班牙飯前開胃的小菜或是二頓正餐之間的點心,在西班牙的飲食文化中佔有很重要的位置。Pincho比Tapas配搭更加多元化,更讓餐廳有發揮空間。脆香的麵包上塗滿牛油果醬,加上Pincho中常用的鯷魚和海鹽虎皮青椒。牛油果的清新成功平衡了鯷魚的咸鮮味,配合虎皮青椒一併吃,層次豐富,是很好的開胃菜。由侍應送上枱開始到食完最後一啖,一直都有好濃郁的蒜香味,果種蒜香非常難忘!用上橄欖油和牛油去煮,把鮮蝦的鮮味迫出黎,沾上脆度適中的麵包粒食,非常非常非常好吃!本身對於炸蒜片無咩興趣,認為都係炸到乾無咩味,點知食落先知,最濃郁蒜香的便是蒜片,而且好脆,一d都唔油膩。呢款菜色令我久久不能忘懷。Popping tiramisu濃郁富蛋香的tiramisu,最特別係加左像爆炸糖口感的脆脆上去,為原本單一的tiramisu增上雙重層次,又抵食又好食!正! 繼續閱讀
