冬天日子約朋友出去食飯,總係離不開打邊爐但係兩個人叫一鍋再散點食物黎烚感覺上有啲貴,同埋兩個人食唔到咁多野所以就決定一人一鍋,之前睇雜誌見過有間係尖沙咀都好似幾吸引,今次就決定黎依度食啦先點飲品金桔檸檬梳打 巨峰提子梳打到重點鍋啦本身自己好鍾意食臭豆腐,見到依度鍋入面有臭豆腐所以點左黎食招牌臭臭鍋入面包括有娃娃菜、白豚肉、臭豆腐、台灣貢丸、米血糕、大腸、豬紅、沙白、鵪鶉蛋、蕃茄、榨菜絲、韭菜、金針菇、鳴門卷、粉絲、炸枝竹除此之外仲可以配飯或者粉絲我同朋友都選擇咗配粉絲食至於臭臭鍋材料非常豐富,臭豆腐味道都幾濃郁米血糕味道幾特別,之前都未食過雖然個湯底唔係帶有辣味,但係味道都好夠唔駛蘸汁食都夠味朋友點果個係 臺式麻辣鍋朋友仔其實最近係要戒口,但係佢實在抵唔住誘惑所以都叫咗個小辣嘅麻辣鍋嚟試下依個麻辣鍋嘅食材包括娃娃菜、麻辣餃、牛肉片、福州魚蛋、沙白、米血糕、豬紅、大腸、魷魚圈、金針菇、炸枝竹、泡面、鳴門卷、青豆角辣度適中,又唔會湯面好油,淨食一個鍋都好夠飽 繼續閱讀

去佐敦見完客都兩點幾,行過見到平時門口排長龍嘅台式火鍋店,唔駛排長龍,即時入去醫肚。呢間台式火鍋店,裝修都幾台灣風味,主打一人一鍋台式臭臭鍋。店內頗闊落,無一般火鍋店果陣味,裝修都幾有台灣風味。檯面放左豉油,蒜蓉,沙茶醬,豆瓣醬等。餐牌後面仲教埋你混醬 3+2+1 完美比例。有9款唔同套餐,除左招牌臭臭鍋以外,仲有牛奶鍋、沙茶鍋、連我最愛嘅藥膳羊肉鍋都有。第一次來試臭臭鍋,唔食臭豆腐,又好似差左啲野。所以先order左藥膳羊肉鍋跟飯同綠茶,再另加麻辣臭豆腐同埋麻辣鴨血。招牌臭豆腐唔係油炸,臭味唔太濃,我覺得做火鍋嘅臭豆腐呢個味道已經好夠,點少少豆瓣醬,非常惹味,餸食一流。麻辣鴨血,上檯仲好熱,鴨血口感滑嫩,少少麻辣,相當好味。再將鴨血放入火鍋滾一滾,食落仲好食。主角藥膳羊肉鍋出場,火鍋入面放滿配料,已經全部加熱,鍋下面再用蠟火慢慢加熱。配料包括豆卜,大白菜, 羊肉片,台灣貢丸,香菇,炸枝竹,粉絲,粟米,鳴門卷等。藥膳味唔算太濃,但都幾香,感覺有啲似淡淡肉骨茶的味道,羊肉片騷味唔算太濃,但我幾鍾意。當火鍋食到一半,湯料濃左,好香嘅藥膳味果時先至出黎。 配料其實都好夠味,唔需要加醬已經好好食。最開心自己一人一鍋,真係好豐富。杯綠茶太甜,不過自己加水開稀,即時好飲曬。 仲有原來平日呢度係一個幾好hea嘅地方 ..haha。 繼續閱讀

Hotpot is mostly something you do with a group of people. But sometimes you want one all for yourself. Well, at least I do. 8鍋臭臭鍋 offers individual hotpots for one person. It's pretty popular with long lengthy queues at night. But if you come during lunch hour, it's pretty quiet. So, that is when boyfriend and I went.Menu is in English and Chinese. What you get is one personal big boiling pot of goodies. Everything is added to the boiling soup and presented in front of you on top of a portable little stove lit by tea candle. Each sets comes with a bowl of rice or vermicelli and a drink all for the price of $88. You can upgrade your drink for $5 if you choose any other drink that is $28 and below. You can also upgrade rice to mince meat toppings for $12.This is the drinks menu and side add ons.A  selection of sauces are on the side to create a dipping  sauce. It's mainly soy sauce, garlic, satay sauce, chili paste.Both of us upgraded our drinks. I chose the passion fruit green tea (on the left) and boyfriend chose the white gourde tea (on the right). My drink was ok, a bit sweet.  Boyfriend's just tasted like water.Boyfriend also upgraded his rice to add a mince meat topping. It was  pretty savory. Meat was moist and there was lots of sauce.Boyfriend chose satay beef soup. The pot included cabbage, sliced beef, pork blood cake, beef balls, fish tofu, clams, corn, enoki mushroom, fried tofu skin, fried tofu skin, octopus ball, cuttle fish ball and naruto. The soup was a bit disappointing as it really didn't have much satay taste. It was just a bubbling bit of watered down meat soup.  Items were fairly decent though the clams had sand in them.I  chose the sesame chicken hot soup. It included rice wine, ginger, sliced chicken, cabbage, fried tofu skin, enoki mushrooms, wolfberry, mushroom, Chinese yam, pork blood cake, clam, naruto, corn, rice vermicelli, tamago tofu and pork meat balls. Though  lot of ingredients listed, I was missing the clams. I guess not much of a miss as the one I got from boyfriend's had sand in it.  I did like the rice vermicelli as it still remained chewy even after boiling for a long long time. I wasn't a fan of the pork blood cake as there was a lot of glutinous rice added. I guess I was expecting  a more jelly like consistency instead of chewy rice.Over all, it was filling. I was full. Items were ok and for $88, not a bad deal. It's over a pot of boiling soup so this was clearly a good thing to eat when it gets colder. As it was still too hot outside, we didn't appreciate it as much. So, most likely be back when the weather gets colder. 繼續閱讀

記得第一次接觸臭臭鍋的地方並不是在台灣,而是在美國,因為當時在外國留學,總是常常想吃中菜,而正好讀書的地方有間台灣臭臭鍋專門店相當有名,也是我那時候最喜歡的餐廳, 大概這就是情意結吧。 而在回港後,一直對臭臭鍋念念不忘,接著也見到香港有臭臭鍋的引入,但是味道實在差太遠了,這次吃8鍋也不敢抱著期望太大的心。不過一打開門口,聞到濃濃的臭臭鍋香味,我想這次應該不會再是「伏」了。 照著以前的習慣,各人點杯飲品。我還是鐘情於他們的招牌臭臭鍋,而朋友想來點不同,點了個芝士牛奶鍋。我們聊著聊著,等一會兒,臭臭鍋就準備好在我們的面前了。 招牌臭臭鍋的精華就是在於他的臭豆腐,8鍋的確實是做到這又濃又「臭」的香味。不喜歡臭豆腐的人應該很難受,但對於喜歡臭豆腐的朋友,這陣香味卻是令人回味呢!臭臭鍋就像一人火鍋般,各人享受著自己的臭臭鍋。預先放滿了食材,愈滾得久,臭臭鍋的香味就會愈濃烈了。 不忘要加上豆瓣醬,味道更加好吃呢!這是以前吃慣的味道,我終於可以找到了! 相反,朋友的芝士牛奶鍋,也因為沒有加入臭豆腐,沒有一般臭臭鍋的「臭」味。味道上較為清淡,牛奶的香味是有的,但不算太過濃烈,而在食材上只有一兩道的出入,大家也可以因食材選擇不同的鍋。對我而言,既然來到吃臭臭鍋,當然要吃有臭豆腐的鍋吧,所以我還是喜歡招牌臭臭鍋的味道。不過各人有各喜好,喜歡清淡一點的點個芝士牛奶鍋也是不錯的選擇。 額外再多點一碟牛肉,放到臭臭鍋吸收湯汁的味道,更加好吃! 以後想吃臭臭鍋,來8鍋可以嚐到正宗又濃郁的了! 8鍋臭臭鍋尖沙咀金巴利道77號地舖 繼續閱讀

獨特南瓜煲 焦點食評

朋友結婚啦, 真係好感動, 介紹左佢去我間婚紗舖到試衫, 之後沿路搵野食見到呢間8鍋臭臭鍋, 之前去台灣見過, 不過因為當時食到太飽就冇食到. 難得係香港見到, 就食呢間啦有蒜頭, 沙茶醬同埋, 有豆板醬. 餐廳建議是三匙沙茶醬/豆板醬+兩匙豉油+一匙蒜蓉), 個配搭好特別, 點肉食一流跟餐唔包野飲, 嗌左杯金桔檸檬梳打同埋茉香奶綠,兩杯嘢飲甜度適中, 咁大杯野飲啱曬打邊爐用嗌咗個限定嘅南瓜煲: 一黎冇咁肥,二來係總店嘅鎮店之寶, 第三個原因,梗係因為佢限定啦! 哈哈, 南瓜湯底,食得出真係用成個南瓜去做, 入面有好多南瓜蓉而家好甜。 入面除咗南瓜之外, 所選嘅配料都比較健康: 娃娃菜,珍珠筍,西蘭花,芋頭,金菇菜... 當然仲有我最鍾意嘅赤目魷魚啦, 仲有豬肉,點醬食一流。 個鍋入面本身已經有粉絲, 另外跟餐再要多咗碗粉絲, 粉絲吸盡湯底精華,好好味而我嘅新娘子朋友就點左做台式麻辣鍋。 朋友嗌左個小辣。 個湯底好夠味,而且下面有舊蠟烘住個鍋,就算慢慢食, 成碗麵都係熱辣辣。鍋入面麻辣餃,米血糕, 呢兩樣都比較特別, 正宗台灣野呢間臭臭鍋好特別, 好鍾意佢有舊蠟可以整熱個爐入面嘅嘢食, 等我冬天再嚟食咗先 繼續閱讀
