First time being here in island Shangri-la, visiting this lobster grill bar on this day marks another special day for me and him! We come here to celebrate this with our family!Safety first!Classy, elegant and nostalgic would be the three adjectives I used to desribe this vibe!An array of options from the menu and we have ordered three-course set!Lovely bread basket and we love the cheese crackers a lot!We have also ordered the wine pairing and the ladies love the first glass which paired with the appetiser — crab cake while the gentlemen liked the third ones paired with the surf and turf.On top of the wine, I have also ordered a tailor-made fruity mocktail — made of yuzu and cranberry juice.The crab cake was crispy and you can see threads of crab meat inside but not anything else— it was hot enough as well! Nice!Lobster bisque— have plenty of lobster for you to munch on! One of the best lobster bisque I have in HK!Love the surf and turf— the tenderloin was rich, meaty and succulent while the lobster was as nice as the tenderloin.And we love this chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream. Creamy and chocolaty! This is one of the best romantic entanglements a good chocolate fondant is hot and intense with a meltingly soft centre!!Love this memorable dinner.The waitresses were also very attentive and hospitable as well. Went there a second time and tried their a la carte items this time. This times things were not that rushed and it was more relaxed.Despite being a lobster bar, the onion soup is just as good as their lobster bisque. It was sweet and rich and the amount of onions were just as much as the soup.The lobster cappelini was served with the pan fried lobster. So I felt its lobster flavor paled a bit compared to the pan fried lobster. However, the dish was still great with plenty of lobster.The Pan Fried Lobster was juicy and rich. The sauce was just right without overwhelming the dish. It went well with the garlic bread served together.We decided to order dessert.I guess I was a bit having high hopes for the strawberry tart as it said there was sichuan pepper in the mousse but it turned out to be a normal albeit good strawberry tart. Just no surprises. The surprise came with the creme brulee. Many times the custard is too much compared to the crispy caramel but this one was perfect. The sweetness was just right despite all the caramel. Definitely order it if you come. 繼續閱讀

現時的周末已不再是可令人悠閒地過活的日子,已很久沒有與友人們輕輕鬆鬆地渡過了。難得的一個平靜周六,即相約大家到Lobster Bar一聚,終於可放鬆一下心情。剛好餐廳推出了一個半自助龍蝦午餐,配合美妙的餐飲,讓大家舒緩一下緊張的心情。 這個半自助午餐包括自助的開胃頭盤、主菜及甜品,更可無限暢飲Mocktail及果汁,如對餐酒及香檳有興趣,即可昇級至任飲。坐下不久,先來一杯喚醒心靈,增進食慾的新鮮果汁,友人則點上一杯由中國茶混合果汁的Mocktail,這杯紅噹噹的是由普洱茶溝紅莓汁,味道清新怡人。待大家都到齊後,一起走到自助頭盤區,看見賣相精美,新鮮吸引的頭盤林林總總,口水也差點流下來。款式雖然不多,但卻很齊全,正所謂麻雀雖小,但五臟俱全。 一系列的沙律都很色彩繽紛,選材不但新鮮,有些更是矜貴的,好像多款不同的原生蕃茄及羽衣甘藍等等,已值回票價。由於小弟不愛芝士,沒有一嚐,枱上的幾款芝士與我無緣了。 除了沙律外,也有多款凍肉可供選擇,相當吸引,而且也有如油甘魚及八爪魚等的海鮮頭盤,以及用料豐富的壽司卷等等。 拿了滿滿一碟美食回去時,發現枱上已放了一籃熱烘烘的麵包來,誘人的香氣令人食指大動。 那滿載而歸的頭盤相當豐富,雖然胃口不算大,但卻越吃越開胃。 主菜方面,有原隻波士頓龍蝦或半隻龍蝦拼牛扒、三文魚及黃油雞等等。占苗選擇了半隻龍蝦拼慢煮法國黃雞雞胸,而且用上特別的昆布湯水煮來烹調,一改以往不是燒就是焗的煮法。 一嚐之下,用上昆布湯水煮過的波士頓龍蝦不但非常鮮美,肉質更是幼嫩彈牙,從未吃過如此嫩滑的龍蝦肉,實在驚喜。相對地,黃雞雞胸給比下去了,雞胸肉不夠嫩口,幸好雞皮烤得香口,挽回了不少分數。 友人們則點上自製Surf & Turf,即燒烤龍蝦拼烤美國黑安格斯牛柳,份量十足,牛柳烤得恰到好處,中心呈櫻桃紅色。另一位友人則點上龍蝦拼香草紐西蘭皇帝三文魚,嫩滑得來又美味,只是略為覺得切成條狀很可愛。因大家各自點上不同的主菜,而醬汁又有六款選擇,正好可配上不同食材,味道也相當不錯。除了主菜外,還可無限量的配菜供應,分別有炸薯條、忌廉薯蓉、清炒法邊豆、古斯米配杏脯及杏仁和日式清湯水煮山藥及秋葵等等。占苗就最為喜歡山藥及秋葵的組合,清淡而消膩,飽肚得來又健康。 最後的甜品時間,由侍者推著甜品車出來,小弟已吃得愜意,只是略略地點上梨撻,配上少許士多啤梨,酸酸甜甜,十分滿足。 就在這個難得聚首的星期六,大家也過了一個舒適愜意的下午,好好地舒緩一下心情。 繼續閱讀

同先生慶祝周年紀念就黎試下Shangri la 嘅餐廳.為咗正視我哋嘅紀念日我哋叫咗好多嘢食😂首先我哋叫咗兩杯白酒同一人兩隻生蠔,生蠔真係超級新鮮好鮮甜。跟住叫咗一份蟹餅同一份龍蝦湯諗住share食,上餐嘅時候我哋覺得佢地真嘅好貼心,佢哋竟然已經將啲嘢食分為兩份。蟹餅真係真材實料淡淡都係蟹肉👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻主菜我叫咗芝士龍蝦,而先生就叫咗牛扒拼龍蝦,我反而覺得龍蝦唔算非常出色,因為芝士味太濃,食唔到龍蝦味😭 繼續閱讀

第一次來,周六午餐時間,地方高雅,待應有禮。但發覺周六沒有了慕名而來,陣容浩大的weekend brunch,改為龍蝦配搭自助沙律,飲品 free flow的午餐,甜品是餐車中選。沙律 bar 略為簡單,鯷魚,鴨胸,西班牙火腿,芝士盤等,味道倒是不錯。主菜我選了傳統法式焗全龍蝦,同伴選了半只燒龍蝦配牛柳,龍蝦相當出色,牛柳相對普通,餐包了紅,白酒,普通,也包了分別兩款 cocktail 和 mocktail,杏味香檳和芒果烏龍都很不錯,聽說這兒曾拿過world best 50 bar 的銜頭。最後的甜品,雪糕也是非常好,帶醉回家去😂 繼續閱讀
