生日天坐落在閒日,雖然不打算大事慶祝,然而廚房卻要暫停營業。老伴工事總繁忙,在週中的晚上自然不想走遠,只希望快快填飽肚子便回家休息,以應乎日復一日的辛勞。將軍澳之PopCorn商場曾幾何時有一家其門如市的越南泰式餐廳,見著人如潮湧,小的總與之緣慳一面,及至某一年的生日與鄰居同學仔終於一嚐,卻覺得味道麻麻,不明餐廳何解會盛況空前。結果隨著年月的沖洗,新厠所的熱潮逐漸退卻,而商場亦開設了更多食肆,最後餐廳終於敵不過物競天擇的殘酷,結業離場了。小的看著舖頭外面的裝修圍板,心裡渴望著有甚麼新款美食,天公造美,竟然是小的至愛之和風!於是在這生日天與老伴投入一試。因著「鮨千壽」之人氣,老伴預先訂了檯。網民反映餐廳之食物不錯,然而服務卻是九流。不過當咱們向職員交代訂位的時候,發覺他們態度有善,而且更讓咱們自行挑選位置。兩小口子喜歡歲月無聲的安逸閒靜,遂直往內探,深入到接近廚房角落靠落地玻璃的位置。瀏覽餐牌,「鮨千壽」之價目不算便宜,位處新區之轄心地帶,當然打中高檔路線。偶爾一嚐是為不錯,作飯堂嗎?閣下自理。老伴的同事向他推介這兒的刺身,於是小的逐揀了客極上刺身拼盤,而要有米氣的老伴則選了個海膽三文魚子丼。沒多久刺身出場,共八款的美食分別有空運到港的白身鯛魚,三文魚與油甘魚是為鐵膽組合,較平價的則算是墨魚與八爪魚,在墨魚之上有一小束的海膽,另尚有帆立貝和海蝦。小的一向不喜歡八爪魚,因為自己不生不吃,而八爪魚一般都是煮熟後再冷藏的成品,與北寄貝類同。只是這一片八爪魚卻是鮮有地為新鮮刺身,大廚巧妙地在八爪魚的表面火炙之,以神來之筆帶出八爪魚獨有的香騷。觀其賣相已知此非凡品,入口端的是爆炸性的滋味,在香溢裡保留著刺身之嫩滑細膩,是為小的吃過最佳的鮮八爪魚。其餘的刺身亦屬上等食材,故其鮮度十足,三文魚與油甘魚油脂豐盈,反而是白身鯛魚有點遜色,不過只要配合小的至愛之酸汁便頓時變得更開胃過癮。帆立貝非屬高端特大的那款,但味道尚算清新,海膽之色澤未夠鮮艷,入口卻仍告清甜。是真正的海膽,非為便價食肆以海刺充數帶苦澀味的劣貨。老伴之三文魚子海膽丼比想像的要小,差不多要四百塊錢然而刺身的份量相對遜色。這裡是香港,當然好難找到於日本魚市場裡大份兼抵食的質素。海膽沒有北海道馬糞之清甜甘香,亦非屬加拿大海膽的香濃純厚,這大概是福岡或其它地方出產的品種。幸好其鮮度與三文魚子同告出色。老伴吃了絕大部份的米飯與三文魚子,小的則征服了幾乎全部的海膽。除了刺身與丼飯,咱們尚點了些許串燒,燒雞翼一向是老伴所好,而燒鰻魚則為小的所喜。二者均滋味無窮,只是鰻魚得小小的兩口有點不夠。看看墊檯的宣傳紙,發現餐廳其實屬某一集團,曾幾何時在海城吃過被宰羊牯的「天穴」便屬旗下,難怪小的發現一些相同的菜式。至於一家在中環名曰「金鮨」的店子,小的接老伴放工的時候總會經過,卻怕會被劏個血流成河,所以一直敬而遠之。 繼續閱讀

Met up with a friend who lived in the Tseung Kwan O area for dinner. As it's been a while since we had Japanese together, I decided to try out  Sushi Senju. Located in Popcorn, it was the only Japanese restaurant that I knew of in this area.The restaurant is not small but for some reason, the seating still felt a bit cramped. Menu is in English, Japansese and Chinese, They have a variety of items from sushi to yakitori to even donburi and udon. Salmon Roll with Cucumber and Cheese ($78). The salmon had a slight fishy taste but then I didn't get sick afterwards so? There was a small slice of cream cheese and I did like the crunch of cucumber.Deep Fried Hiroshima Oyster with Black Truffle Sauce ($68). I didn't dip into the mayo which was flavored with truffle oil (not even a paste) as I didn't want the taste of oyster destroyed. But I guess it didn't really matter anyways as the oysters were so oily, they were dripping away. It came with a side of salad which was a bit unexpected.Soft Shell Crab Roll with Avocado ($88). The soft shell crab wasn't even crunchy. I was a bit disappointed in that. It was also slathered with mayo so you really couldn't taste anything but mayo.Chicken Liver ($38). This was horribly dry. To make matters worse, it was drenched in a super sweet teriyaki sauce. Beef Udon ($98). The soup tasted more like it belonged in a bowl of pho. The udon was over cooked. The beef was tender at least but lacked beef taste.Tempura Shrimp Rolls ($78). At least the shrimp here was crunchy! This was ok and sadly probably the only decent thing we had.I rarely have high expectations for sushi restaurants that are located in a mall, let alone in an area that doesn't have a thriving Japanese expat population. But the food was mediocre at best with prices that I felt didn't meet that expectation. Service was like all the other Lubuds group restaurants. Always missing the mark. Like one point where our table was full and the waiter still tried to cram the dish in. So, we ate the last remaining piece quickly. But instead of that being a clue that he should remove the empty plates before placing the new down, he continued to cram it in. Seriously, even a cha chan teng knows to remove plates before plunking it down. Why is it that every time I dine at at this group of restaurants, I always get the same type of service? 將軍澳站好食嘅日本餐廳, 真係唔算多但係呢間真係不錯😁雜錦魚生飯 —》非常新鮮,多款式,好味😋😋😋海膽三文魚飯 —》okToro容飯 ~~》ok串串燒 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻牛油果軟殼蟹卷 —-》正正正,黎明親都會叫😋紅豆煎年糕 —-》煙煙韌韌,甜度啱啱好,好味😋蟹飯 - 》蟹子、蟹肉、蟹膏、海膽飯鄭鄭鄭😋😋😋😋😋陀螺壽司🍣油金魚壽司超級新鮮好味😋我最愛🥰帶子三文魚子飯 —-》新鮮好味整體來講所有魚生都好新鮮好食,會在食嘅餐廳👍🏻 繼續閱讀

今年係第一年同我豬豬過情人節豬豬話要食日本野 , 但又買左戲飛去旺角睇戲睇10點咁就book左 19:30 , 因為近豬豬公司 , 預計食1.5小時情人節當晚19:30到達 , 已經坐滿 , 好在訂左位 , 等侍應執好台就入得我地坐靠牆邊2人台 , 地方唔算太闊落 , 但侍應好細心幫豬豬收埋札花先 冷盤 : 醬油魷魚軟骨 - 哩個算有驚喜 , 魷魚好淋好入味 , 而且唔係周圍都食到小食 : 蟹味噌多士串燒 :煙肉蕃茄卷免治雞肉串黑豚肉五花腩 : 哩個好食 , 燒得好香 , 唔un唔鞋黑豚露荀卷壽司特上壽司併盤(12款)三文魚壽司 , 火灸三文魚壽司 , 帶子壽司 , 火灸左口魚裙邊壽司 , 卷物炸蝦卷 , 帶子沙律卷最後埋單連加一 , $1200PS : 整體黎講 , 食才算新鮮既 (當然比元X好) , 但又未去到有好驚喜既水平 , 食物水準屬中上 , 但性價比就唔太高因我地剛日本返黎 , 難免會將餐廳出品與日本當地作比較  , 因為日本個D真係好好好好食 繼續閱讀

見到有app半價就試下呢間啲嘢食係幾多元化但係壽司手卷刺身真係好貴半價左先同元氣差不多價錢不過你問我質素我覺得佢元氣差不多啲飯散又熱係wasabi係磨值啲分蟹粥就係真材實料但冇蟹味真心一般串燒就燒得太耐雞皮串似食炸粉咁冇哂油香至於服務就真心唔得我抱住bb冇問過我要唔要bb櫈咁我以為店鋪冇提供然後我見到個角落有好多bb櫈咁我問可唔可以要張點知佢泥就話你嗰個太細個唔啱用咁點解其他餐廳我用到呢?試都冇試過就話唔得Btw半價左都要$4xx兩個人 繼續閱讀
