This place was recommended by friends. I love dumplings and northern Chinese food, so I thought I'd give it a try.We had a late-ish dinner there on a Sunday and was given a table by the window, the view was nice as all the buildings light up at night.Service was average, but the lady owner (She was not in an uniform!) was good at recommending unusual dishes. We were happy that she didn't tried to sell us the Shake Fin soup or other expensive dishes on the menu.I've had better "siu long bao" else

We had a late-ish dinner there on a Sunday and was given a table by the window, the view was nice as all the buildings light up at night.
Service was average, but the lady owner (She was not in an uniform!) was good at recommending unusual dishes. We were happy that she didn't tried to sell us the Shake Fin soup or other expensive dishes on the menu.
I've had better "siu long bao" elsewhere (i.e in Shanghai) however, theirs was not bad for a Hong Kong restaurant.
My favorite dish was the honey sauce chinese ham with bun, perfect combination of sweet and savory.
We also had a fish soup, it's a thick soup, I think it translate as "Mrs. Shi's fish soup". It was very tasty ( I am sure there's some MSG in it, but I wasn't overly thirsty after the meal).
For desert, I really like their "red bean paste in Eggwhite banana dough" 高力豆沙香蕉, it wasn't too greasy and you can taste the banana.
All in all, it was a pleasant dinning experience with good ambience, above average food and reasonable price.
