好耐之前睇到網上介紹已經好想嘗, 今次趁拍拖週年比個籍口自己奢侈一次一個月前已經打去訂位, 要先比$1000 deposit, 當日賣單會扣番當日早左15分鐘到, 我見之前D食評話未入座已經會先比杯香檳你飲住等, 我地當日就無啦, 而且都好似無咩人理我地, 我地就自己坐係門口附近D檯等入座慢慢都開始有D人同我地一齊咁坐係到等, 夠12點鐘, 無人叫我地入去, 但見到有後黎嘅人直接就行左入去, 我地跟住都行入去....係入座安排方面, 真係有少少扣分一坐底, 經理會簡單講解下收費同食物, 由於太多人同時間入座, 所以佢都要轉頭再番黎比杯同酒我地, 等左幾分鐘之後就有人黎serve酒檯上有麵包, 醋, 同牛酒, 每款試左, 可以唔食, 好一般, 隻醋都好一般生蠔係行出去叫, 跟住講檯號, 我地第一時間就叫生蠔, 有5款即開, 兩款美國, 一款法國, 兩款澳洲, 我地每樣都叫左各人一隻試下叫完之後幾分鐘, 生蠔就上檯, 都算快, 經理教我地倒時針食 ..... But 第二次我地叫一樣, 另一個侍應叫我地順時針食 (蠔排序係一樣)我地食過之後覺得應該係經理先係啱, 順序頭兩隻係US唔記得名, 偏金屬味, 爽身跟住兩隻係US ROCK PACIFIC, 我地兩人都最鐘意呢款, 最清甜第3款法國就最CREAMY, 都係清甜口味, 我地第2鐘意呢款第4款係澳洲COFFIN BAY, 無平時食果D COFFIN BAY咁咸第5款都係澳洲, 海水味重少少每食完一款蠔飲一啖香檳, 隻香檳會吊番蠔味, 充斥成口蠔鮮味, 好正跟住到魚生, 有油甘魚, 吞拿魚, 三文魚, 八爪魚, 甜蝦, 帆立貝全部都好新鮮而且BUFFET好少有咁大隻帆立貝凍海鮮有: 麵包蟹, 蝦, 蟹腳由於望落已經唔吸引, 好削, 所以無試, 麵包蟹仲要一早無哂蟹蓋, 無再refill沙律冷盤反而就好多選擇 , eg 泰式沙律, 水牛芝士番茄, 西班牙沙律, 黎麥沙律, 凱撒沙律, 大蝦沙律, 西班牙辣肉腸, 沙樂美腸, 帕馬臣火腿, 欖, 煙三文魚比較特別有紅菜頭煙三文魚 (甜甜地個人唔喜歡, 可能因為本身就馬馬紅菜頭)茄子醬(我最愛茄子)醋醃沙甸魚 (細細條幾好送酒)醃筍其中最推薦豬肉醬, 口感似罐頭吞拿魚, 豬肉味香濃芝士方面, 有4款, 一款軟, 兩款硬, 一款藍芝士, 4款都好好食仲有砵酒送芝士熟食方面, 第一時間先飲碗龍蝦湯, 好香濃, 必飲熟食選擇唔多, 味道一般, 唔係好好食, 但都唔難食, 有以下:芝士焗茄子, 香酥鴨, 吉列蝦薯條, 燒乳豬, 意式肉丸, 芝士意粉, 燒牛肉每位會跟一份主菜, 菜單仲有唔同做法嘅蛋, 焗蠔, 梳乎里, 雪糕, 係要落order先送上檯焗蠔都係用新鮮生蠔做, 所以都好食, 但都係生蠔吸引Degg benedict好食, 麵包外脆內軟主菜我地兩個都叫左龍蝦, 一份係半隻, 全個buffet最失望就係個主菜, 龍蝦唔新鮮最後到甜品心太軟: 不試也罷, 完全唔同平時食果D椰子撻無試蘋果金寶: 面焗得唔夠脆, 味道都可以西班牙油炸鬼: 唔夠香脆, 還可以啦芝士蛋糕: 太多cream, 太膩熱情果朱古力奶凍: 有驚喜馬卡龍: 太多餡泡芙: 幾好鏡面蛋糕: 太膩焦糖燉蛋: 普通綠茶紅豆芝士蛋糕: 太膩tiramisu : 太creamy黑森林: 一般, 好濟曲奇: 好好食果仁杏桃朱古力: 好食試哂甜品, 結論: 唔算太甜, 味道上幾好, 可惜好多落得太多cream cheese/cream/餡,太膩 繼續閱讀

星期日的晚上同朋友食下飯偈下計揀了Sheraton 的 Oyster&Wine Bar 因為客人唔多所以很寧靜舒適偈計一流侍應在我們點菜後便送上一籃精美麵包及一杯特式餐湯,而蠔吧專員提供意見後我們點了美國,法國,和我最喜歡的澳洲生蠔,Starters我們點了帶子青蘋果沙律,法國鴨肝配芒果Main Courses 是南極海鱸魚及美國和牛西冷扒 side dishes配 天使麵 和忌廉菠菜配蘑菇,Sommelier 得知我喜歡飲Chardonnay 後亦為我們介紹了兩款白酒,兩支都酸度適中合我口味,最後侍應推薦了咖啡疏乎厘作甜點 🍮我們再 order 了 兩杯Sangria cocktail 🍹 繼續閱讀

在吃下午茶途中竟然比我發現昨天在蠔酒吧 Oyster & Wine Bar有個泰式廚藝烹飪班,收費$588跟正宗泰籍大廚學兩味泰菜,完成後更可帶回家中跟摯愛分享!而落堂後還有四道泰菜連特飲的午餐可品嚐,真係抵玩到一個點啊!即刻約好友Jannis一起去上堂,咪話唔單聲您知呀只剩11/5一場咋!!想又食又拎又學到嘢就快D打電話訂位喇Tel: 23691111。 我們就是跟這位來自JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa只逗留至11/5的星級泰籍客席主廚Mama Duu學習,精通泰國皇家料理的她有不少首本名菜,當中包括最受歡迎的冬陰公湯,聽聞今天我們也有幸品嚐得到呀! 今天學的第一道正宗傳統泰菜是泰式豬頸肉米紙卷,檯上已放滿所需材料包括有芫荽、香茅、泰國芫荽、生菜、牛油果、芒果、食用花、芝麻和豬頸肉,當然還有最重要的米紙啦!   Chef Mama Duu以熟練的手勢三爬兩撥便完成札實貌美的出品!  到我們大顯*新*手的時候,選食用花時見到這個原來是風信子來的,沒紫色抗體的我當然即時選上它啦。 看似簡單的泰式春卷做上手真的不易,要捲得扎實又不掉出餡料來真的很考功夫架!     出來的成品呃呃騙騙都可以吧哈哈哈哈...........       其它的朋友仔的泰式豬頸肉米紙卷全部都完美過關,大家的悟性也十分之高啊!  這一刻我們要升級做一道泰式青咖哩魚用上海鱸魚作主角,配合自家製的青咖哩醬、椰糖、泰式茄子、墨西哥紅辣椒、九層塔、魚露、椰奶、檸檬葉、黃姜粉及上湯等材料。 海鱸魚有一大一小件,小的一陣用來淆咖哩湯底,大的當然會落我肚啦嘻嘻!! 煮法不太難跟足步驟試好自己喜歡的口味,收好咖哩汁的稠度便大功告成!!    我的製成品自己吃都算OK啦,擺盤呢家嘢我最弱弱的請見諒! 飛快便完成了兩度美味泰菜,這一刻該到大家午餐的時候了!有可愛的小象和我最愛茂盛的肉肉植物陪吃相信味道必定更好吃! 午餐先由一杯以香茅、九層塔、辣椒、青檸等調出的特飲,喝下去不太甜喜歡香料味的我挺喜歡那清新口味! 第一道菜是泰式春卷這個當然係Chef的出品啦!口感煙韌的米紙包裹著爽口青瓜,香甜芒果和軟滑牛油果,加上入味豬頸肉一口吃下層次豐富,沾上點點泰式青辣汁味道更爽! 第二道菜是我期待Chef Mama Duu最受歡迎的冬陰公湯,看色澤看似不太辣那要試試才知喔!呷一口香氣辣味平衡得不錯,以鮮味主導不像平常喝的光是酸和辣!但如果可以再辣多點就更合我意! 而湯內有一大隻新鮮海蝦,肉質札實彈牙味道鮮甜非常,真的*泰*新鮮了!  到主菜是我們剛學的泰式青咖哩魚,還配上香氣撲鼻的斑蘭飯,減肥中的我見到真的悲喜交集! 可幸青咖哩配的是魚邪惡度好像減了一點點!不過還是自欺欺人吧!那青咖哩汁有多肥心中有數啦!不過實在好好味我最後破天荒吃了八成才收口!  最後是Chef Mama Duu的芒果糯米飯食譜,但加了酒店新Patisserie Chef的小創意一塊芝麻脆片,譜出新口味之餘亦沒有失去舊有本色!  太好吃的關係忍不住吃了幾口,芒果香甜糯米飯軟糯煙韌,椰奶配得恰到好處,加上芝麻脆片更加令人傾心又傾情!大家如果11/5冇時間也不打緊,6月尾前到咖啡廳仍可享受Chef Mama Duu為大家設計的泰式家鄉風情自助餐! 繼續閱讀

Reserved a room for a group of 10 to celebrate a friend's birthday.  Service by a female server was very good. She was attentive to our needs and was quite friendly, and she was in charge of the whole room the whole night. The room was very spacious, seemingly the biggest room in the restaurant with some comfortable sofa seats nearby and very pretty decorations of numerous bottles of wine! Bread basket (black olive bread, soft butter roll etc)The bread basket was served just slightly warm. The black olive bread was quite special, with a very slight aroma of black olive which wasn't overly strong so it was fine by even me who was never a fan of olives. It was somewhat too hard though without a crunchy crust. The soft butter roll was pretty good, very rich in butter and slightly sweet which was very soft and delicious. Nothing special with the dark brown bread. The bread basket was ok and could have been better in my honest opinion.Oysters and clamsWe were told French oysters were best in season so we took their recommendation. The server introduced each oyster to us from right to left. There were Japanese oysters bred in France, followed by others from France. The oysters were so huge, meaty and fresh. They were not overly salty at all, but a bit lack of flavour of fresh sea water. I could finish most of them without any dressing/sauce. Had one with vinegar for bread which tasted even better . The clam was fresh too.Foie gras pieNot particularly greasy after eating, maybe coz of the pretty petite portion? The foie gras pie was ok, but of course couldn't be compared with pan-fried foie gras with crispy crust and lava interior! A friend said the crust of this pie was crispy. I couldn't really recall such for mine. The sauce was delicious and the vegetable was pretty fresh!Asparagus with caviarI thought it was scallop under the caviar but found that it was some crunchy vegetable stems. However, there were too much fibres and were actually a bit bitter...pretty bad indeed. The asparagus was ok with some cheese on top. The caviar was ok. Overall not a pass given the stems.Lobster soup2 big lobsters for 10 of us. The server shared it for us in our room.Lobster soupBecause it was shared in our room and you can imagine quite some time had been taken, it had cooled down when I got to eat it. The lobster meat was ok. The soup itself had too much black pepper though, which explained the rating of 2. Angel hair with abaloneThis dish was served with the soup. There was a small pot of abalone sauce on the side which I found too salty. The angel hair itself had already been seasoned with very rich aroma of butter. It was done pretty well - super thin and a bit al dente. The abalone slices were super crispy but actually a bit too chewy. Could tell they were very fresh though. A rating of 4 was mostly due to the angel hair.Steak It looked like it was cooked to the right degree. But I found it not tender enough nor sufficiently rich in beef flavour. A friend said his portion was much better because that was fatter. The sauce was alright. The chewy pasta-like sides were quite delicious. Why was it asparagus again?Wellington duckThe crust was no longer crispy when served. The duck was ok, seemed to have been cooked to the right degree so that it was not too rough. But flavour-wise really nothing special.HD ice-cream cake and mango cakeWe self-brought an ice-cream cake which the server helped serve them for us. It took quite a long time for them to have it done. The mango cake, seemingly complimentary, was a pass, slightly too greasy with the cream.The overall quality of food seemed to have improved from our last visit, especially the oysters - they couldn't be not good given its name right? Brunch at Sheraton Hotel ($998/位)個人認為如果鍾意食生蠔同飲香檳的話,呢度係非常適合你的。$998係一位價錢,可以upgrade到$1298或$1498,價錢分別在香檳質素。一定要訂位,因為都幾full呢。半自助形式,有salad 、刺身、冷海鮮、生蠔、即切牛扒等等,質素頗高。即切紅菜頭三文魚好鮮味。刺身好新鮮。是日生蠔,可以生食或者焗蠔。我較偏好生蠔,食到蠔鮮味。另外,仲有7款egg starters同 4款main course 及甜品可以order。Egg benedict Grilled king prawnSalmon fillet甜品有即焗soufflé! 迷你size適合食多幾款! 繼續閱讀
