在這時期,晚上擺酒,擔心散席時親友隨時回不了家,故新人早三,四星期前向酒樓查詢,飲宴改在中午舉行的條件。最低限額席數(16圍) 與訂金不可減少及退款,場地只會Hold多一星期,最差勁是場地使用時間,由11:45至3時,拍照,吃飯,敬酒3個小時很趕,部長/經理在3:30pm 左右帶主人家行去 "送客" 位,一對新人仍與親友拍照中呢! 如晚上婚宴5-11時間,大約6個小時 ,鬆動得多。問題歸問題,不影響我對這餐的祈望,但原來是失望,侍應不足(好像2侍應負責4-5席) ,趕著散席,有些親友還未挾到菜,侍應已急著把碟中剩下的分給旁邊親友。食物只是微暖,味道大減;而且不知何解室內有2隻大飛蛾在附近飛,有親友幫手捉走。尊貴金豬大紅袍皮脆,沒一點鹹味,下層豬肉同樣沒有味道,唯蘸點叉燒醬加味。如意蘭度玉帶子終於有返鹹味,蘭度變成露簡,更名貴,但賣相一般,帶子軟熟,有點油膩。金華竹笙扒鮮露筍金華火腿鹹香惹味,竹笙可清洗乾淨一點,這個露筍比上一碟爽脆,輕微油膩。金鑽貴妃大蝦球脆口,彈牙,沒驚喜。紅燒津膽大排翅很久沒吃排翅,湯頭香濃,排翅軟滑起膠,是全晚最好味,但為地球生態,有得選擇,會盡量不吃真魚翅。原隻南非五頭鮑魚鮑魚汁甜香味欠佳,鮑魚雖大及肉彈牙,味道卻不似預期。清蒸原條大東星斑鴻圖脆皮炸雞四季飄香荷葉飯添福鳳冠水餃紅蓮杞子燉桃膠桃膠,可能我這碗是最後舀的,有黑色雜質,基本的清洗也沒做好,加了不少雪耳碎。雙喜美點笑口棗,凍的,咬到一團粉粒。餅乾,有點脆口,只有甜味。 繼續閱讀

Here for a Chinese wedding banquet, food was top notch and beat many 5* hotels, but ofcourse cannot compare in terms of minute details, plating, decor, service. Service for the most part was alright, but if you make any requests (e.g. asking to swap used cutlery) waitresses could get cranky. Roast Suckling Pig was excellent, juicy, meaty, not too fatty, generous portion just like back in the old days in the 90’s, reminds me of the old simple days Prawn & Scallops, beautifully presented prawn on my plate, 功夫菜 with so much heart ❣Conch Soup with Chicken Feet and Bird’s Nest, very tasty soup, lots of ingredients, can’t complain except much of the birds nest was trapped at the bottom of the huge pot and not much was served to us.Excellent braised Abalone, Duck Feet, Sea Cucumber and Choi Sum, everything was tender and well marinated. Steamed fishy in ginger and scallions, appreciate the huge portion, very delicious except too much oil in the soy sauce which overtook the natural fresh seafood taste.* Sorry, missed out the Steamed Lily Leaf Braised Rice and the Wonton Soup Noodles. I picked the rice and it was fully covered in the braised sauce, tasty and maybe a bit too heavy in taste for my personal liking👌🏻Red Date Sweet Soup, traditional and simple dessert, I love this return to simplicity in this restaurant’s banquet menu, no fancy nancy, just excellent produce and cooking methods to elevate its flavour.Probably the only dish that wasn’t up to standard as they were a bit “gone”, not crunchy but a bit soft like they were put out for days. Not my cup of tea, sorry!On the other hand, this Winter Melon Puff Pastry was AaaaaaaaMaaaaZinnggggg First time having this as a dessert in a Chinese banquet, at first, I hesitated to try it because I thought it had egg yolk and lotus paste, but I fell in love at first bite 繼續閱讀

18-9-2019跟屋企人黎呢度食生日飯, 中餐始終啱大家既口味!原本打算散叫, 但部長推介了一個冬瓜盅.大花蝦.鮑魚宴, 滙豐信用咭有8折, 家人都覺得好抵, 即管試下!總括黎講: 冬瓜盅, 大花蝦伊麵, 鮑魚, 胡椒雞都好足料; 但其餘幾碟則以蔬菜/素菜為主。我個人ok的, 但如果家人係"食肉獸"既話, 建議多叫一, 兩碟肉類😂😂最後以柚子伏苓糕作結, 伏苓糕味道偏淡, 不過配合柚子一齊食, 確實係不錯既清涼甜品 (如果伏苓糕可以改用杯裝, 各人用匙羹食, 相信別有風味!) 繼續閱讀

.美心中菜係我兒時回憶的味道🕰翠韻軒的老點家老菜·懷舊中菜更係別有一番風味🥟.懷舊灌湯餃 ❣️滿滿的湯汁鮮蝦鳳冠餃 ❣️滑雞球大包❣️手工扎蹄伴海蜇鵝肝戈渣伴酸薑鼎湖上素冬瓜盅❣️鮮味清湯全鵝鍋❣️清甜湯頭.嫩滑鵝肉老派網油炸蟹鉗有別一般蟹鉗.傳統的更好食茶燻脆香太爺雞❣️脆皮雞.超濃煙燻味三蝦啫啫蕹菜梗❣️鹹香味十足.送飯一流小鳳雞仔餅❣️擂盆花生糊 ❣️超濃花生味.呢餐飯,令我最印象深刻嘅就係鮮蝦鳳冠餃,佢有啲似蝦餃,不過製作過程就繁複好多。另一個要推介嘅就係小鳳雞仔餅,呢個喺坊間已經好難食到,非常特別。 繼續閱讀
