一到過年,就收到啲朋友、親友所送嘅賀年糕點,年年如是,無一例外,故先多謝朋友及親友嘅厚愛。今年所收到嘅糕點,可歸納為嚟自4家餐廳或餅點,分4篇嚟評論吓,依一篇分享嘅喺翠園嘅豐味芋頭糕。翠園唔使多介紹,美心大集團撐腰,當然後盾強大,出品應該幾穩定。叫得「豐味」自自然然諗住會有好多種材料,睇番成份,主要都喺芋頭、臘腸及蝦米,無想像中落咁多種材料。芋頭糕都喺煎好食啲,味道較香口,糕內嘅芋頭粒切得比較大粒,其實,除咗糕面中心位有啲臘腸同蝦米,其餘位置都唔太多,感覺製作有少少迤,幸而糕身做得夠挺,易煎之外,入口較實在,又有芋頭香。雖然夾着翠園嘅品牌,我本身都鍾意依間中菜館,但件糕嘅質素就唔算太高。 繼續閱讀

I have ordered a dinner at Jade Garden tonight for a family gathering.  When I requested to have fried crab claws at the dinner, the kitchen told me that I have to ordered at least a day ahead. Fried crab claws is actually a very common dish in Chinese banquet and not an expensive dish.  There are so many tourists going to Jade Garden restaurants, do they all have to order this dish a day ahead ? I don't think I have to order abalone or shark fin soup at Jade Garden a day before. When I complained this to Maxim Group, the staff there told me I have to make the booking for "fried crab claws" at least a day before. I feel very disappointed at Maxim Group, so I told the staff this is the last meal I eat at Jade Garden because the standard is so low there. Jade Garden is the worst restaurants in Maxim Group. The dishes there never change and many dishes on the menu cannot be ordered because the kitchen does not make that dish that particular night. This is the shame of Maxim Group ! 繼續閱讀

流沙飽唔熱嘅,鮮竹卷勁難食,好似用好多豪油再加咗舊啫喱入面咁....個鮑魚撻勁鹹,究竟有冇師傅自己試過先攞出嚟畀客人食!D嘢又貴又難吃,侍應生見到客人叫佢又唔睬人,一個字劣! 繼續閱讀

星期六family day~同屋企人晚飯黎左荃灣翠園,呢間翠園已經開左好耐!我都有幾年冇食過,6點3去拎位,都等左10分鐘先有台,仲要8點交台,勁好生意。一行5人點左6樣菜式,整體味道都不錯,特別係鐵板叉燒~同埋牛仔骨,味道調得好好。最好味係個魚柳配鍋巴,酸酸甜甜好開胃。但個煲仔豬手遲上仲整得勁勁勁咸,咸到係一擺入口就要吐出來果隻同部長講,佢立即幫我地入去問廚房師父同埋cancel碟餸,服務好好,值得一讚推介 繼續閱讀

美心系列餐廳,為分隔集團不同品牌系列,翠園以Fusion 中菜為主線,今晚一行5人晚餐,叫左6餸一湯(本來7餸一湯,但有一道菜要退)鐵板叉燒:叉燒放在燒熱鐵板上,以黃豆舖底,上菜時,淋上叉燒汁,就係以中式叉燒配合鐵板牛排既做法,入嘴燙口,但肉中間不夠熱,美中不足嶺南牛仔肉:洋蔥多,牛肉少,汁太濃,如果配上白包,尚算可以,如果剩食,偏咸三色蝦球:味道可以接受,但上菜時而凍,有少許油益味鍋巴鱈魚方:鍋巴夠脆,鱈魚無魚味,只有甜酸味,都係一樣,上菜時已凍上湯浸豆苗:咸淡適中,豆苗嫩葱爆海參花膠:非常惹味,唯一一道菜夠熱,海參比花膠出色焗肘子:因為太咸,退貨 繼續閱讀
