今日和老朋友鈙舊, 選了銅鑼灣 翠亨邨 午茶, 因為利舞台地標比較容易明白, 交通算方便.  以利舞台中式餐廳比較, 此酒樓可算是其中環境最舒適和闊落的一間, 所以價錢會高一些.點心選擇不少.  價位由  $48- 起, 我們先點了:   皮蛋酸薑 $68-賣相不錯, 品質普通.筍尖鮮蝦餃 $52, 蝦肉內餡有水準, 只是外皮略厚.腐皮素鵝 $68, 炸得夠熱夠脆, 份量少, 而價錢過高. 鳳梨牛肉卷 $52,  卷皮厚, 內餡肉汁OK, 但餡料不多, 味道好一般. 竹炭流沙包 $48, 那外層金箔顏色較銀, 入口 OK.   但未見突出. 茗茶每位 $32,  茶味可以, 但收費貴一點.  因為時下酒店的中式餐廳, 地方環境高一線.  招呼也好.   此餐廳收費或食物份量須調整. 繼續閱讀

My grandma likes to go out to dine, so each Sunday, we try to find different restaurants for our weekly dinner.  My uncle picked Tsui Hang Village for us to try because of its convenient location in Lee Theatre.When we arrived, we saw that the restaurant was barely half-filled on a Sunday night!  My uncle has already planned another dinner at the restaurant, so he's familiar with the manager.  The manager recommended various dishes that we should order, and we added a couple of dishes that we chose from the menu as well.Crispy Minced Carp Cakes and Crispy Bread topped with Milk Custard--The milk custard tasted pretty good on the crispy bread, but we didn't really care for the greasy carp cakes.Braised Shunde Specialty Fish Head Thick Soup--This was highly recommended by the manager, but it was so disappointing.  Not only was the soup bland, we could hardly find any fish head pieces in the soup.  Braised Sea Cucumber and Scallops with Ginger and Spring Onions in Casserole--Another dish that the manager recommended.  The scallops were overcooked, and the sea cucumber had a gritty texture on the outside.Water Spinach with Fermented Bean Curd--The water spinach was pretty crunchy, and we could taste the fermented bean curd.  This was ok, but nothing special.Braised Beef Ribs--the beef was very tender and the sauce was pretty tasty.  One of the better dishes of the night.Baked Fish Head with Ginger and Spring Onions in Casserole--we ordered this after the disappointing soup, and this was much better than the soup!  The fish head pieces were seasoned just right, and the dish was fragrant with the ginger and spring onions.Stir Fried Beef with Fried Cruller--I'm not a fan of stir fried beef with soda powder since it lacks the right texture.  The fried cruller pieces tasted pretty good with the sauce and were pretty crunchy though.Fried Rice with Sakura Shrimps and Pork--The fried rice was pretty good, where it was pretty dry and was not mushy at all.  The sakura shrimp flavor definitely came through, and they didn't skim on the various ingredients in the fried rice!Deep-Fried Egg Pastries with Honey--This was a complimentary dessert, and usually, free food tastes better to me, but this was not the case here!  The egg pastries were not fried through, so the texture inside the knot was quite chewy.  Also, there wasn't enough honey drizzled on the pastries.Steamed Golden Glutinous Cakes--My cousin is a big fan of golden glutinous cakes, but he didn't like this one since it's steamed and not fried.  Since the cake was not pan-fried, the flavor was not fully developed.  I believe the pan-frying would bring out the sweet coconut flavor more.  Also, since this was steamed, the texture was quite rubbery.Our conclusion after getting the check, the meal was not worth the $400+ per person price tag.  The food was only ok, and the service was not up to par either.  The service was not lacking, but rather, one of the servers felt overbearing.  She kept talking every time she came around to change our plates, and she tried to change our plates even when they were barely used.  If I had a choice, I probably won't return to this restaurant in the future. 繼續閱讀

近一年都無嚟,媽咪話睇吓有無進步,結果,無進步,仲退咗步!曾經令我們讚嘆的蜜汁叉燒已成歷史!完全無蜜糖味!雖然仍是梅頭靚豬肉,但因厚切,有點實,醬汁唔入味!$168完全唔值!牛肉腸粉的皮像塑膠,沒有米氣,有點癡牙!XO醬炒蘿蔔糕好味,炒得香,多蘿蔔,但所謂半份,約12粒,而且頗迷你,總量應少於三件。紫菜雀肉卷賣相極差,排到東歪西斜,非圓條狀,頭頭尾尾都上碟,但味道不錯,炸得夠透。其他食品,食材新鮮,但烹調則一般。服務差咗,以前人手較充裕及較有禮貌。由於質素一般,食到6成飽就算,以免中伏! 繼續閱讀

這天和男友家人慶祝中秋節,訂了美麗華的翠亨邨。因為男友家姐續了翠亨邨的年費年費好像要千幾二千的。這次送了整整一隻片皮鴨。太好!這裹環境不錯,枱與枱之前都遠,空間感不錯。片皮鴨 - 整整一大隻,雖是送的,但很夠秤。片開了兩小碟,我們6人吃,每人吃了好幾塊。味道中上,可以再好些!醬料兩小碟,不太夠。一碟有五款配料,䓤、青瓜絲,辣椒等,加上兩籠春卷皮。叉燒鴛鴦拼 - 燒腩仔拼叉燒,說是皇牌菜,但個人認為只是一般以上,說不上好好吃。我覺得翠園的燒腩仔才真的好好味,脆口又juicy。這兒的燒腩仔不夠脆,叉燒又不夠juicy。肉碎炒四季豆 - 這個入味又好味!四季豆很淋,送飯一流!炒米粉 - 都是皇牌菜,這個確實好味,炒米粉,加上蛋絲等配料,撈了吃,不錯!豆腐魚腩火腩煲 - 味道不錯,不會太咸。燒金沙骨煲 - 金沙骨很淋,叉燒醬入味,不錯。這些很多菜,味又濃,太漏。但味道確實不錯! 繼續閱讀

翠亨邨嘅叉燒真係好好味,但係我今次就諗住應下節,分享佢嘅月餅。可以話係 closed group 團購, 一大班人share所以平啲。員工服務友善,應該冇乜賣廣告,所以如果唔係幫襯開食飯都唔會買,紙袋同埋紙盒嘅包裝,算係環保。設計比較傳統,冇乜花巧,每年都差不多。但我就係鍾意佢可以保存傳統港式月餅嘅風味,全部香港製造咁我就食得放心。食口感,蓮蓉香,入口滑。蛋黃比一般較為少油,一來冇咁肥膩,二來膽固醇都應該抵啲皮薄多料又唔會太甜食落好健康 繼續閱讀
