Pretty pricey for congee, but the generous serving meant it was still good value for money. For 40 HKD, I got literally a heap of pork liver, which was very fresh, tender and succulent - totally on point. One large bowl of this with two servings of doughnuts is enough for two people. The pork giblet included various cuts including liver and a mystery part which I couldn’t identify but was very fatty and not to all tastes.
The congee was also smooth, silky and tasty. This hole-in-the-wall place offers a quintessential Hong Kong dining experience, and is super convenient for a quick but fulfilling meal in Sheung Wan.
