Speaking of Chaozhou cuisine, one would always think of the congee and goose. And that's exactly what I had plus a couple of other stuff. So we ordered the famous chaozhou congee and tofu and most importantly --- goose intestine!!!!I am sorry if I gross you out but goose intestine is something that I would always try in different chauzhou restaurant and this is the best one Ive ever had. Some restaurant  woud cook it for too long that the intestine would shrink so much that it tastes nothing but some sort of rubbery substance. But this place - they cooked it at just about the right time and flavour. Order the boiled intestine (i.e. if you are up for intestine)  - the chewy and crunchy texture would definitely impress you. What I also like about it is, it's pretty much oil-free and is honestly a very healthy dish. While some other chaozhau dishes may be quite oily (the oyster pancake for example), this dish is really rather refreshing. 繼續閱讀

味道唔錯,服務殷勤,地方清潔....穩打穩扎嘅潮州菜,而且價錢合理,唔需要花巧嘅話,係一個唔錯嘅選擇。滷水鵝片拼鵝肝~鵝肉不鞋,有滷水香普寧炸豆腐~豆腐軟滑而且唔油膩凍烏頭~有黃油、魚香肉嫩方魚炒芥蘭~合格鹹菜胡椒豬肚湯~味道單薄、有待改善煎豪餅~香口、蠔仔新鮮,唔錯芋泥~可以這間潮州食店,不硬銷,值得試! 繼續閱讀

幾年前曾光顧這間潮州菜館,今天去開荔枝角附近,朋友話好想打冷,即時諗起呢度,所以又再去光顧,好彩早去,等了20分鐘就有枱,好喜歡此店用的雞公碗餐具,但個人覺得味道比以前稍遜了一些,但依然好味,潮州店的前菜:鹹酸菜花生。好味滷水鵝片,肉香,滷水入味,不太鹹。九肚魚烙:淡淡九肚魚香味,但不夠香脆,若然可以煎乾一點,脆一點就更加好韭菜朱紅:好好食,豬紅入味,韮菜不老,炒㷄條:潮式炒河,少少海鮮,牙菜,味道一般,早知叫蠔仔粥好過。 繼續閱讀

公司附近的一家潮州菜馆,平價抵食。12點半前抵達的話,通常都會有位。午市提供四人、六人和八人套餐。套餐中指定菜式包括两款湯任選其一,一碟鹵水拼盤。然後有20多個小菜,四人餐可點2個,六人餐可點4個,8人餐可點6個。另送粥或饭及餐飲。6人餐498元,平過茶樓。是同事工作日聚餐的不二之選。 繼續閱讀

晚餐分兩輪,6點同8點,我地7點去到,8點鐘要收枱。叫了蟹粥,很鮮甜,潮洲粥煲出黎是一粒粒米的,米粒是不會煮到完全爛化溶開,不像廣東粥。九肚魚番茄烙,其實是蚵仔煎的番茄魚版,先把魚起骨,把番薯粉煎連魚同番茄煎得香脆,味道可口,可惜有很多細骨,食得很狼狼。鹵水鵝片,夠入味,不過比之前食的鞋了少少,但仍是比坊間的好味。梅膏骨,梅膏醬是潮式醬料,主要成分是庶糖,薑,梅子,味道近似濃味的酸梅醬,但有有薑的味道。只在潮州雜貨店有售,一字排炸完加檸檬汁,梅膏醬再炒,甜甜酸酸,很開胃! 繼續閱讀
