When I saw pics of how amazing their view is, I just couldn’t resist paying them a visit! I just love a good view, especially those with fewer buildings. As you get to see how the sky stretches ahead for miles on end and the ocean in various shades of blue. There was a minor hiccup with a restaurant staff though. We were told we would be offered a window-side table once a table is available. But then he came around and claimed that there are 4 tables waiting for window-side table and insisted that we wouldn’t be getting the table. When I asked him to be more specific, such as whether he was referring to reservations by customers arriving soon or that there are other customers wishing to switch tables, which would make it totally understandable why we couldn’t move. But for some reason, he mumbled something about this being confidential information, which just made no sense. Within 5 minutes, there were 3 empty window-side tables. He then finally allowed us to move to one of them. And even by the end of our meal, one of the window-side table remained empty. So I had no idea why he was so reluctant to allow us to move. He came by afterwards to apologise though which I really appreciated. I must say, the food and view did made up for it. I would also suggest taking a taxi there as it’s quite a walk in this summer weather and the taxi ride was only like 10 minutes at most. Food-wise I was very pleased with the grilled salmon, well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, super tender with a crispy skin. Absolutely delicious. The steak was spot-on too and I loved their ketchup😂, super tomato-y! The starters were nice too, I really enjoyed the way they seasoned and mixed the salad, tasted really good even without the roasted beef and peach slices. The soup of the day was potato cream soup, very satisfying g and filling. Would love to try the scallop next time though, although it requires an additional HKD 28, you get four huge pieces! 以前係機場返工,偶爾都會落東涌行街購物兼食飯,真係見證著東涌日漸興旺,人流日多。雖說疫情下市道差,但依然有酒店落成,而東涌就有「香港東涌世茂喜來登酒店」。從東涌地鐵站信步而行,大約20分鐘腳程。可能隣近機場,附近有不少機師空姐客,所以酒店戶外中庭位,有不少外籍客人在聊天喝啤酒。就趁著天朗氣清的星期天,跟朋友來個 Sunday Brunch (成人$688/位,小童$348/位)。或者好多人認為以咁既價位,應該好多野食,但我想講一句,如果樣樣食物都係唔值租,好似深圳好多標榜兩三百款食物,但九成幾係下價貨,相信閣下都無興趣吧?Sunset Grill只在星期天提供 Sunday Brunch,地方寛敞闊落,兩邊落地玻璃,仲有超級遼闊遠景,室外可以盡情享受陽光與新鮮空氣放題,偶爾有飛機經過做點綴,絕對是一個賣點。未講Main Course有幾吸引,先講佢既海鮮吧!ICE BAR即開生蠔可以食到最後都有得供應既Fine de Claire,仲要係 No.3 size,每次開一盤,保證新鮮衛生,蠔味濃郁及Creamy,帶海水味令味道更鮮,消滅半打毫無難度。波士頓龍蝦另一重點當然係龍蝦,半開凍食,肉質爽口彈牙,又有豐腴的龍蝦膏,必食。龍蝦鉗而懶人想啖啖肉,又有龍蝦鉗。仲有鮮甜肉厚的加拿大蟹腳、大大隻又爽口的虎蝦 同埋少見的北寄貝,單是海鮮陣容,已經是回本位。MAINS (SMALL PLATES)幾個主菜各有特色,當中最令自己心動,就一定係Steak & Eggs, Dry-Aged 44 Farm Striploin Eggs, Parsley & Shallot Salad,實在超正,奉勸大家要留肚,本身肉味已經夠濃郁,每次都是現場用上備長炭及普通炭即烤,略帶焦香更是吸引,試想下,單點一塊要幾錢?何況 Sunday Brunch 是任食?Home-made Impossible Beef Sausage, Cannellini Beans, Mushroom Fricassee, Egg (v)其實好有All Day Breakfast氛圍,Beef Sausage味道濃郁,煎得微焦令香氣更盛,尤其是沾上蛋漿一齊食,真是人間美味。Crab Benedict, Hand-Picked Canadian Crab Leg, Poached Egg., Grapefruit Hollandaise輕輕剖開半熟溜心蛋,蛋漿徐徐流出,下邊是甜美的加拿大蟹腳肉,與及帶果香的荷蘭汁,口感豐腴卻又不會覺得膩,很久沒吃過如此具水準的Benedict了。Char-Grilled Prawn, Piri-Piri Sauce碩大的海蝦,烤得蝦殼脆卜卜,根本可以連殼食,用來配啤酒又是一流,加上微辣的Piri-Piri Sauce,刺激了味蕾,感覺更加惹味。ANTIPASTI COUNTER自製煙熏蘋果木鮭魚Balik Cut' Home-Smoked Applewood Salmon豐富的煙熏香氣,三文魚又滿有油香,肉質肥美。100天穀物餵飼牛肉薄片100 Day Grain Fed Beef Carpaccio肉質呈嫣紅色,質地幼嫩,配士巴馬芝士及火箭菜,口感清新豐腴。牛肉他他Signature Steak Tartare開胃菜中最受歡迎的菜色之一,牛肉質地嫩滑,放在香脆的多士上一齊食,兩種截然不同口感交雜,好正。再加上 Mushroom Bruschetta、Foie Gras Torchon、(橄欖油水煮金槍魚)Olive Oil Poached Tuna Niçoise、Grilled Octopus, Pico de Gallo、Cheese & Charcuterie 與及 Heritage Tomato Salad,用料是看得出的新鮮,而且refill的速度亦見快手。DESSERT甜品同樣是貴精不貴多,有Bailey's Cheese Cake 、 Strawberry Mille Feuille 、 Cinnamon Rolls、Passion Fruit Tart 、 Tiramisu 與及Raspberry Mousse。喜歡飲兩杯的朋友亦可以加錢$388/位,free flow 兩小時,可以任飲 Veuve Cliquot Champagne,House Wine,White Wine,Beer,Soft Drinks 及果汁。當然,亦有專業的調酒師,推著手推車來到眼前,加錢來一杯風味獨特,加入了 「Shrimp Vodka」的「Bloody Mary」。雖然今次是Sunday Brunch,但可不要忘記餐廳叫 Sunset ,相信能跟另一半欣賞日落餘暉,又是一個浪漫靚絕的好地方。說起來6月又是「父親節」的大日子,不妨考慮帶父親來Sunset Grill,享受一頓高質素的Sunday Brunch,「母親節」固然重要,但可不要忽略每天辛勞工作的父親啊! 繼續閱讀

The very first impression we got was from the courteous reception - quite akin to a warm blanket in a frigid winter, or in this case, a very cold beer in a very hot summer.Crowd was light so we were sat at a window table that overlooked the bay and airport despite our appearing without a reservation. Such a decent view to have while having lunch!Beyond our gripe with some crumbs visible on the table and chair, the rest of the visit was pretty good.The drinks were very good - especially on a hot day!Mushroom soup and the Caprese salad were also very good. We loved the pesto and tomatoes in the salad. Salmon and striploin were prepared with care. Both exhibited juiciness and flavorful balance! Even the dessert, that was not our first choice, came as a satisfying treat for us! 今日去咗sunset食brunch, 食物款式真係少之又少,但係食物同view可以.冷盤海鮮幾好食,龍蝦&北寄貝都新鮮但係生蠔有限度供應,食咗約一小時以沒有再提供😂而且沒有湯供應,食個麵包好似乾爭爭,爭咁啲🤔主菜有四款任食,crab benedict幾好食。整體嚟講都滿意,只係地點太遠,一次就夠 繼續閱讀

疫情關係,很久沒有去機場了,今日黎試下呢間餐廳,一來可以欣賞一下海景,更可遠望機場同飛機升降。餐廳望出去的環境,簡直係無敵,淨係呢個view,比呢個價錢,性價比極高。食物方面,真係值回票價。先黎個Starter先,之前都有網友介紹,Steak Tartar好好味,當蛋黃同生牛肉撈勻,再配上toast一齊食,味道非常清新,但又唔同韓式牛肉tartar。Main dish, 叫左3款唔同既食物,睇下呢度係咪得牛扒好食先。西餐廳食雞通常都好乾或鞋口,呢個雞有印尼風味,而且juicy又嫩口,真係堅好食。魚柳,個人覺得一般,太乾身加有少許魚腥味,麻麻地,加上本身唔太喜歡白汗,所以更加扣分。只係叫左普通的Rib eye,medium rare,由於係炭燒,好香,肉味濃,賣相簡單,但性價比高,340蚊有咁既質素,抵啦!如果係呢度叫Porterhouse 或 T-bone,相信烤出黎既質素會極高,下次一定試。點都要有薯條配牛扒🤣🤣🤣🤣最後都係叫多個意粉試下,都唔錯,乾身掛汁,加少少黑椒令味道更加突出。一杯咖啡做結尾,回味無窮。 繼續閱讀
