This is a noodle shop located in Tsuen Wan and specialises on knife cut noodles. The chef would carry a huge dough on his shoulder and would slice pieces of noodles into the blazing hot soup. Each strands of noodles will be a different size and texture. The shop usually have a line waiting outside but the turnover of tables are quite fast and customers are required to share tables. Therefore, usually if you come as 1 to 2 person it will be fine in getting a table. I just ordered the two types of dumpling noodle soup. The dumplings are also famous here as they handmade their pork and vegetables dumplings. Soft skin and lots of filling. Very good and taste fresh. The noodles were also al dente, great to eat it with their chilli sauce and a dash of black vinegar.This time we also tried their sizzling xiao long bao with egg. This is one of their new dishes, at least for us as we saw it in a promo. The bao had some soup inside but the base is crispy to the bite. I think it’s good but it’s also oily. If you are on a diet, this may not be the dish for you. The price is not cheap also as it costs more than a bowl of noodles. 繼續閱讀

同友人響荃灣睇完戲,就搵野食lu經過依間刀削麵,就入去試下啦,入完去坐底出面就開始好多人啦我地一人一碗麵,再加兩個小食小食方面,覺得雲耳較為入味,而個口水雞味道一般,唔太突出同惹味麵方面,水餃🥟較為厚皮,自己就不太喜歡,刀削麵知道本身較厚,麵粉質地較重,易飽肚,但咬到牙軟😂湯底加辣椒油惹味點,整體只愛小食-雲耳同豆漿😂欣賞其俾蔥都較多👍🏼👍🏼 繼續閱讀

We'd always wanted to try hand pulled noodles in HK and finally got to do so.After landing in HK and staying in Tsuen Wan for a couple of days, before heading onto Jordan, we decided to pop in after researching on OpenRice.There was a tiny queue being cleared as we turned up, so we were first in line.  However, we didn't have to wait long, despite being a family of 6.Once inside the smell was amazing.  We ordered the XLB in Omelette dish, which was quickly demolished by all as an entree. But you really come here for the hand pulled noodles, and as a Gweilo family, to really see what the difference is between hand pulled and every other noodle joint in HK.We weren't disappointed.  The difference between hand pulled and machine noodles is the same as between bread from a supermarket vs an artisan bakery.  I don't mind supermarket bread, but how much better is artisan bread.  The fatter noodles were bouncy and glossy without being stodgy.  The thinner noodles sucked up all the flavour and were al dente.  The sauces were a meal in their own right.I would think that great noodles would be lost if the rest of the dish weren't of equal quality, but it was soooooo good.  Bouncy noodles in rich, meaty sauces and meals. 繼續閱讀

點咗黑目耳加豬大腸, 額外加個豬扒麵, 食完好飽好滿足。d 面好有咬口, 湯底又唔錯,加埋炸蒜同麻辣仲好味。流心蛋就有小小唔夠流心,過熟。總括而言, 街坊價同水準唔錯。 可惜有低消要求。。。 繼續閱讀

今日黎到呢間都係荃灣幾有名聲既餐廳,就係呢間都多人食既山西刀削麵,同朋友當然就試下佢既招牌刀削麵。朋友就叫左個大腸豬肚湯刀削麵,而我就叫左個豬軟骨乾拌刀削麵,再加多杯豆漿,睇見餐牌都覺得好期待,急不及待,哈哈。終於叫既麵都黎啦,賣相都幾靚,而且料都吾少,吾算呃錢,不過味道就無我想像中咁好,個大腸豬肚湯刀削麵既湯底味道過淡,而且刀削麵既麵質都吾算滑,一般般。而我既豬軟骨乾拌刀削麵既拌醬味道都吾算好食,可能我鐘意重口味,所以吾算係我杯茶,不過豬軟骨就確實吾鐘,而且大大塊,又吾會好硬,值得食既。整體來說,雖然間店好多人排隊食,但真係無我期望中咁正,吾係我杯茶,不過吾差既,食慣米線既人不妨轉下口味試試! 繼續閱讀
