This restaurant is located in Moko, offering some authentic Sichuan dishes but also having a range of Cantonese cuisine so even if you cannot have spicy food there are plenty of options to choose from.The interior has a modern contemporary decor, offering a nice high-end Chinese restaurant ambience. We ordered some signature dishes to start. First is Sliced Pork Belly with Mashed Garlic 蒜泥白肉 ($118). My favorite among the dishes on the night, the chili sauce is spot on in terms of spiciness and flavors, and the mashed garlic certainly delivers the kick in taste buds but overall harmonizes perfectly with the sliced pork belly. Really good and my recommendation. The other starter we had is Deep-fried Duck Blood 招牌脆皮血旺 ($108). Looks like tofu, inside the thin crispy skin is in fact a cube of duck blood, with a good crunchy bite. With a bit of spicy salt tossed together, the dish is a good dish to pair with icy cold beer. Worrying that the dish can be very spicy, we asked for a less spicy version of Stewed Mandarin Fish with Pickled Chili 酸菜煮桂花魚 ($398). Suitable for our palate, the fish fillet is tender and the pickled chili offers a nice mix of sour and spicy note. If you do not want the Sichuan style chili with the numbing effect, I suggest ordering this instead. There are also plenty of mushroom in the broth too. A delicious dish. The other main dish we had is Smoked Duck in Sichuan Style 樟茶鴨 ($288). The duck has been smoked with a camphor wood to give a nice scent, and it is great that the flesh is not too dry. While the fat under skin is a bit overwhelming, it is quite tasty. Service overall is fair, and with the bill at $1,110 it is decent too on the price-tag. Not a bad choice if you want to have some Sichuan dishes, and you also got other Cantonese dishes to pick otherwise. 繼續閱讀

這間餐廳座位寬敞,食品精緻。而且仲可以用OpenRice訂座, 十分方便。這間餐廳的食品上海餐廳嘅食品種類款式差不多,但味道不錯,而且製作得比較精緻。擔擔面跟一般的上海麵味道有點不同,首先麵質較扁闊,湯底亦有濃厚嘅香草味(應該是九層塔之煩),而湯底嘅味道都濃。個人比較欣賞蒜泥白肉,蒜泥冇得好幼滑,再配入青瓜一起吃,可汁同蒜既濃烈味道,抵銷埋肥膩感。而蘿蔔糕外皮香脆,細細粒方便進食。整體而言,想食得舒服一啲,精美一啲,這間餐廳是一個不錯的選擇。 繼續閱讀

今天來了這家高檔的念川居吃午餐,我利用OPENRICE預先訂座。很久之前試過下午茶一次,感覺不錯。今次再來感覺不同,不及第一次。我們一行四人,入座後獲安排一張頗大的六人枱,由於4人一枱關係,感覺張枱很大,我見隔離要用轉盤。環境比較昏暗,這是這個集團餐廳和食市的特色吧,但個人不太喜歡在陰陰暗暗的環境下進餐。我們點了些點心,包括:紅菜頭海鮮棵:眼見有點紅色應該是紅菜頭,但內裡的餡料可能太碎,吃不出有什麼海鮮。蝦餃:賣相可以,但也是吃不出有什蝦的味道,餡料太碎。蝦腸:有六件,每件有原隻蝦,沒有特別。蘋果叉燒酥:這個是差,豬油味太重,難吃!刴椒斑片餃:和其他蒸餃或棵類差不多,饀料太碎,又沒有刴椒味,奇怪這不是辣的。荔茸海鮮角:海鮮饀料太碎,只能吃到荔茸。叉燒包:普通沒有特別芝麻卷:這個出色,芝麻味濃,甜度適中,算是驚喜。其實今次主要試食點心,價錢屬高檔次,但總括不知道吃了什麼海鮮饀料入口。 繼續閱讀

order左個蜜桃梳打水,個阿姐拎左枝玻璃樽有啲透明液體嘅東西過嚟,好無禮貌咁問我媽依枝係咪佢要個枝。order個陣我哋expect係一杯有啲生果配啲梳打水個種,個阿姐咁問真係呆左。我見到枝嘢我都醒覺可能我哋誤會左,只係枝裝蜜桃味嘅梳打水,唔係我哋諗個種,都會接受,但係佢啲態度有啲差,同埋你作為職員,唔係清楚過我哋咩,就算唔識,都唔係問我哋啦。咁我都要clarify係咪誤會架,我話我哋唔清楚,話係menu見到就order,唔清楚杯嘢係咪就係咁樣。佢聲都唔聲大叫問個高級啲嘅,話就係依枝,個阿姐對返我哋講 「佢話係依枝喎」,個一刻我覺得佢越嚟越無禮貌,然後佢再補多句「x,唔記得開添」我知你個下唔係 x我,但係邊有人係個客面前咁xx聲架,我個個moment都想x你囉。搞到我啲屋企人勁唔鍾意,幾好食都無用啦,況且又唔係真係非常好食,仲要唔平囉 ,但係換嚟咁嘅服務質素 🤷🏻‍♀️ 繼續閱讀
