琴晚係男朋友生日,book左呢間bookmark左好耐嘅hugo’s嚟試試佢😋上網睇先知原來hugo’s歷史好悠久,1969年已經開業,可以屹立不倒咁多年必定有佢嘅原因waitress安排左我地坐round table, 坐得好舒服好闊落,成個環境氣氛都好高級唔記得左影低個menu, 我地都有想食嘅菜式,所以就叫左a la carte啲人話食西餐,一開頭嘅麵包已經會睇得出餐廳嘅水準,而呢個bread basket就真係好出色。入面有baguette, garlic bread, croissant,而我最中意個蒜蓉包,好香口同埋焗得好脆我地叫左6隻田螺share食,餐廳都好貼心,會直接幫我哋分開兩碟上。田螺就不過不失,調味唔算多,會食到田螺原味多啲,冇喺法國食個啲咁咸香煎鴨肝配上蘋果醬同多士,classic嘅配搭一定唔會出錯。個多士(冇影到)都好酥脆,成道菜每個細節都做得好好如果大家叫呢個龍蝦湯,主廚會喺你面前煮,呢個experience都幾值得一試👍🏻主菜我地叫左prime rib, 喺openrice見到大家食評都話份量好多(450g),所以我地都係兩個人share一份。主廚會喺我地面前切,仲好貼心問我地想要薄啲一大塊定係厚切每人半塊,我地就揀左厚切,份量真係好多🙀肉質軟熟,油脂同肉比例平均,好重肉味👍🏻我地仲加左兩個side dishes, 分別係薯蓉同忌廉菠菜,都好好味最後叫左個蘋果撻做甜品,唯一美中不足係我喺openrice booking request左要寫happy birthday, 但最後個甜品係冇寫嘅🥺最後仲送左個好fancy嘅chocolate vanilla ice cream ball,都不錯-總結:openrice book枱a la carte有8折,最後連加一兩個人食左$1900,以呢個食物質素同餐廳氣氛,我覺得係非常之抵👍🏻我地兩個人都食到好飽,細食嘅朋友我諗叫少一至兩個appetizer/dessert都夠食 繼續閱讀

Hugo recently has a promotion where every Tuesday, they will serve there unlimited steak and wine menu on Tuesday.They will introduce the cuts they have that night(which they will serve in the order of tenderloin, ribeye and sirloin). Their house wine was also quite good given that it is unlimited.Despite I wanted to save my stomach, the warm and buttery onion rolls and garlic bread were too hard to resist.Hugo Salad and Fries were also unlimited but I only had one serving as I was looking forward for the steak.It was such a nice oppurtunity to try all 3 cuts. First came my favorite, the tenderloin, which was almost melting in my mouth.Next came the rib eye which was the most aromatic out of the 3.Sirloin I would say is the middle of them both, retaining most of the tenderness while still having a hearty flavor.I definitely loved their tenderloin and tried one more before dessert.The creme brule was really large and the ratio of the caramelised topping and custard ratio was just right without being too sweet. 繼續閱讀

幾年前好友移民,臨行前跟她來了一次午餐小聚,當年的用餐體驗,至今念念不忘,今天重臨,昔日光景,彷如歷歷在目。 門前佇立的武士,簡撲的裝潢,沉穩的色調,予人想靜靜用餐的感覺。 午間以套餐餐供應為主,希戈餐廳午餐每位$588。 先是自選頭盤又或即煮龍蝦湯。 餐廳的頭盤手推車一向有名,由凍蝦到紅菜頭沙律共有十多款,客人大可隨意挑選當中的三四款,悉隨專便。 客人又可以選擇濃稠的龍蝦湯,正所謂有圖有真相,龍蝦湯只放了不到一分鐘,表面便呈視一層薄膜,便可想而知,而且真係有龍蝦肉,配麵包一流。 主菜方面,有(意瓜茴香脆餅、甘筍蓉、番茜松露沙律)香煎鱸魚柳、(茄子、時令蔬菜、香茅牛油汁)烤羊柳配油封羊髀、(迷迭香燒汁、千層薯仔、青豆蓉、烤青蔥)原隻大西洋波士頓龍蝦拼盤酥皮盒及扒龍蝦(另加$40)、燒美國頂級牛肋骨肉(另加$40)(席前銀車切片)以及本月特選,廚師精選澳洲MB6和牛牛扒(另加$40)(炸薯條、黑椒汁)。 幾位朋友各有所好,我是食肉獸,當然二話不說選了Prime Rib。 由銀車推至餐桌前切,充滿了儀式感,肉質鬆軟有嚼口,滲著血絲,肉味濃郁,澆上了肉汁更是美味滿分,配上的Yorkshire Pudding,沾上了肉汁,又是一個加分位,side dish的薯角吃得令人心花怒放,簡單的兩個字~滿足。 意猶未盡的話,大可另加$100來份自選甜品。 又是餐車出現的時間,客人可在甜品車中挑選三款甜品,我就選了鮮果杯、朱古力慕絲及無花果撻,其他更有即炙Crème brûlée、開心果撻及Tiramisu,總有一款啱妳的。   繼續閱讀

睇咗唔少食評都話呢間餐廳氣氛好食物又唔錯,終於搵到機會嚟啦,其中特別想試嘅呢就係佢哋嘅美國牛肋骨肉。頭盤叫咗田螺,同埋焗金文畢芝士。田螺嘅話印象中無咩特別。焗金文畢芝士就配上無花果醬,第一啖食係幾好味,但係食咗兩啖就覺得有啲膩啦,個人認為如果想主打食牛肋骨嘅話就唔使嗌呢個啦。之後就到咗好期待嘅龍蝦湯啦(因為我太鍾意飲龍蝦湯🤣)。職員即場咁樣去烹製呢個龍蝦湯,不過我就覺得表演性質比較重啦。湯嘅話味道係OK嘅,不過呢如果可以做得濃稠啲呢咁就更加好啦。主菜叫咗慢煮鱈魚,係全餐最好食嗰樣嘢。份量望落去比較精緻,但其實食落因為魚嘅油分都比較重,所以其實啱啱好。最後終於到咗嘅期待已久美國牛肋骨,嫩滑嘅部份真係非常嫩滑,可惜有一啲位有筋,咬咗好耐都係要放棄吐返出黎。同餐廳職員傾咗幾句,其實聽得出佢哋對佢哋呢個招牌菜好有信心,不過可能我唔識食啦,又或者咁啱切出嚟呢一舊係比較差少少,我就覺得比較一般。值得留意嘅係叫一份嘅份量都非常之大,落單嘅時候真係要好好考慮食量唔好浪費食物!最後疏乎厘收尾,味道就正常啦。整體嚟講其實食物我就覺得比較一般啦,餐廳有好多菜式都會即場咁樣烹製,個人認為表演性質真係比較重,如果可以將心思放返喺食物本身嗰度,我相信餐廳可以做得更加好。不過值得一讚餐廳嘅裝修同埋環境真係非常唔錯。如果鍾意有情調嘅餐廳,相信呢度符合到你要求! 繼續閱讀

閒日去尖沙咀嘅Hugo西餐廳食Lunch,一入門口見到餐廳放咗拎獎嘅相架出嚟!網上都有唔少Comment話幾好食,未食之前已經對佢地啲嘢食抱有期望呢!<餐前麵包>🥖上菜之前有一份餐前麵包(法包同酥皮包),但麵包質地太煙靭,亦冇麵包個種香味. 我就只係每款咬左一啖😿☕️每個Lunch Set會包一杯野飲,不過Staff唔會特別講,想飲野飲要主動提出呢!試左Hot Latte 同Cold Mocha☕️. Latte咖啡味重啲,但Macha可以用淡到同水一樣.🥹<2-Course Lunch Set 🍽️> 💰588 per person 1st Course試左自選頭盤同龍蝦湯.自選頭盤有超過20款嘅嘢食可以自己揀,侍應會推餐車出嚟,逐一層去問你有咩嘢鍾意食!因為我唔鍾意食salad,所以幫大家試唔到啲菜新唔新鮮.🤣但個人覺得南瓜、三文魚、蝦、Palmer ham配哈密瓜都唔錯!其他冇特別講嘅嘢食就好普通. 我建議真係唔好揀太多嘢食,因為全部生冷野食,食食吓會好滯😖之後食2nd course就會有啲辛苦🥹<龍蝦湯>🦞龍蝦湯一飲落去有啲苦苦哋,餐廳用咗龍蝦膏去煮,所以苦都係正常!不過龍蝦湯都係一般般,冇話特別好飲~<燒美國頂級牛肋骨肉>🥩🥔牛肉好冧,煮得啱啱好,不過唔重牛肉味.牛肉係配磨菇Sauce嚟食,但係調味好淡,要加Mustard食夾啲🥹Side Dish係配焗薯同Sour Cream👈🏻冇乜特別、酥皮盒👈🏻亦都唔重牛油味,好普通😖🦞🥔<原隻大西洋波士頓龍蝦拼盤酥皮盒及扒龍蝦> 龍蝦肉質鮮甜,連Side Dish嘅酥皮盒同薯蓉都好食過牛肉個個!呢個酥皮盒係用左龍蝦嘅汁嚟整,薯蓉亦好香忌廉味~ 繼續閱讀
