只賣叻沙香港好多地方有叻沙食,但要好食就唔係度度有. 愛好所有湯麵但又不喜排隊的我, 等到今時今日先去跑馬地~店舖地方細,但我一開門就去, 第一臺客, 但陸陸續續都有客人來買咖啡或外賣. 以前聽d星洲馬來拉朋友講,佢哋會米粉同麵溝埋食,當時大鄉里覺得怪, 之後食食下只覺得自己怪不接受新事物~講返碗叻沙, 靈魂之湯有好多蝦米~好鹹香~飲晒食晒都無口渴,一定無味精. 配料不多,芽菜,一隻中size 蝦, 半隻蛋, 魚片同可以索飽湯汁的豆卜, 多d豆卜就好lu~最後叫杯少甜咖啡,中和叻沙湯的辣勁. 下次會試南洋咖啡. 店舖細,應該只有老闆負責所有工序. 堂食用即棄餐具相信係要節省時間同成本. 希望有一日可以做生意同環保兩者間取得平衡. 繼續閱讀

Pestle & Mortar is a small shop in Happy Valley. I walk by it every day on my way home and I am curious. They only serve three items: laksa and two different coffee. On odd days they have an occasional other item. They are also only open from 12 - 3 PM and rest on Thursdays. Or they take breaks and not open at all. But yet, they have been here for a year now, in a residential area where rent is not cheap and things close very quickly. People I know who ate here said it was really good. And I was curious. Was it that good that they only work short hours and offer only one food item?I decided one day to order take away.The shop is very tiny and they mostly do take aways. But they do have  a slim counter on the sides with chairs for you to dine in if you wish.Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge even if you dine in. But they will still serve it to you in take away containers. If you do take away, they will have the soup and noodles in separate containers.As they only have one food item, I ordered the laksa. You can request for not spicy but just to let you know .. it's still spicy but just not burning. They just do not include the sabah sauce. That, apparently, is amazing and yes ... super spicy.  They have two types of noodles: thick oil noodles or rice vermicelli. But when I arrived at 1 PM, they had run out of the thick noodles so could only get rice vermicelli.It looked beautiful and smelled wonderful when I took it home. There was a decent portion of noodles and plenty of toppings. Two peeled prawn, half an egg, three tofu puffs, one fish egg, a handful of beansprouts and two fish cakes.  The fish cake was really excellent. Firm with a good taste of fish. The fish ball was good as well. The egg was not over cooked, the yolk still soft enough in the center. The prawn seemed fresh. The noodles just right.But what about the soup? As laksa is all about the soup. It was a bit saltier than other laksa I've had in Hong Kong. It was rich and thick. It was filled so many dried mini shrimp. Probably one of the best laska I've had in Hong Kong.  But also one of the most expensive as well. I didn't ask for spicy so they left out the sabah sauce, but it was still spicy. But not too spicy that I couldn't eat it.For $100 a bowl, this is perhaps the most expensive bowl of laksa I've ever had any where, let alone Hong Kong. But it's also one of the best I've had in Hong Kong. They sell out all their bowls daily, so there is obviously a following. I will be back to ask if they offer a daily special. Or even try a cup of coffee as I've heard that is pretty good as well. This place is definitely worth a trip into Happy Valley. 繼續閱讀

Authentic laksa. Two prawns are fresh ones. Invredients in laksa such as the egg and bean curd are fresh. Please see the photo for more details, that should explain itis quite yummy. Soup base is tasty, moderate thickness in texture and should be no msg. Balanced taste and not too spicy, though you can request for less spicy or more spicy.You can dine in there as there are around dine in chairs of around 6. Friendly staff (not sure if she is the boss though). Can be more environmental friendly by not using disposable utensils for dine in. 繼續閱讀

超好味正宗新加坡叻沙,湯底香味撲鼻,能味出香蝦乾味,用匙真的攪出不少蝦乾,証明真材實料。椰奶不重,不會有肥膩感覺。配料豐富新鮮,兩隻蝦鮮味十足,肯定不是急涷貨色,魚旦魚片彈牙。瀨粉爽身,軟硬適中,其實也有油麵可選擇的。小店力求質量,不求花巧,每碗都是心意佳作。咖啡也相當出色,咖啡由新加坡直接進口,原汁原味。我每次也選新加坡咖啡,店主話南洋咖啡多加一片牛油。小店坐位也得張就張就,但環境乾淨。這是我個人認為在香港的最好味叻沙。 繼續閱讀

星洲在以前給我的感覺是沈悶的變化不大,但穩實的。當然現時完全改變了精彩了很多。 今天經過養和,看到有家小店賣新加坡🇸🇬嘢。睇真個餐牌,悶死了!食—溂沙飲—咖啡新加坡式的所以唔使諗 叫得。也是說入來就係呢兩味,好管理。這是一些故事味道,中國人人比人賣豬仔的年代,走咗去做苦力。南洋一帶又濕又熱,飲品要夠熱量提神而且要快,呢杯啱哂。這家是主要做外賣,所以立食都係用外賣碗。先喝湯,非常濃的蝦味應該用上很多蝦米蝦頭做湯膽的。沒味精。麵量足,辣度剛好。魚片爽脆,豆卜有肉(交嘅我估)價錢就好似貴咗啲但拉麵🍜嘅話你又咪照比。結論:好吃😋穩健、無選擇。會回頭。 繼續閱讀
