I was waiting for my friend to get off work so we could go see a movie. While waiting, I became a bit hungry so I stopped here for a quick bite at the food court area.I ordered a noodles with squid balls and pork balls for $45. Not expensive and super fast as they just poured hot soup into a bowl of ready made noodles as soon I as I plunked down my money. But surprisingly the noodles weren't clumped together and not very soggy. Not al dente but at least not soggy. The balls were ok. The soup was just MSG but I guess expected. Fast and quick food court meal that did the job of just curing my hunger pangs. Not great but it did the job. 繼續閱讀

Was kind of tired after football and decided to grab some food.It's food court so I didn't expect the food to be high quality food but it turns out to be good food The beef rice noodles was delicious.The came as raw beef slices but after being in the soup for a while it became cooked. The taste of it was good however the soup was a little bit sour for me. It didn't take long to find a seat.A fine dining experience overall and the price was acceptable. 繼續閱讀

趴走完大帽山川龍村,蠻累的。沒甚胃口,想吃得清淡點兒。繞場一周後,決定在學記麵家來碗清淡的雲吞米$31。落單的年青人態度一般,相反,中年淥麵師傅則甚為殷勤好客。小妹取麵時,他提小妹先到旁邊取餐具,並千叮萬囑要小心拿穩托盤,以免翻倒,極為窩心!雲吞麵頗大碗的,米粉份量遠比坊間的多,小妹只吃了一半!米粉淥得恰到好處,入口爽滑富咬口。湯底清清的,帶有牛腩的清香。喝後,毫無乾涸之感。五粒雲吞體積不大,大小則均一, 再配兩條稍嫌過老的菜心。雲吞皮薄且滑,餡料以爽彈蝦肉為主,再混入少量豬肉和蝦籽,口感和味道均教人滿意。 繼續閱讀

大食代一向為人詬病的就是過份保護水吧部,所有食店都沒有飲品甚至連清水也不供應。有些日式食店就勉強有一小碗面鼓湯,無非想食客去水吧部另講飲品。今日凍冰冰想食點暖胃的,就來了食粥。意想不到,跟餐加 $6有餐飲,可知道水吧部的飲品要杯蔗汁都要 $18,當然要試下。 要了一個艇仔粥 + 糉餐 ($41) ,加 $6要熱咖啡。先在粥店付款拿發票,再用發票到對面水吧部 cashier落 order,然後再去旁邊水吧等表演。落完 order才有一位師傅睡眼惺忪地走出來,很認真選了一隻咖啡杯,加了少許奶,再檢查一下咖啡壺的熱度。然後,忽然從高處把咖啡射入杯中。之後,他還用熱壺加了點水?原來杯下是一板熱的金屬板,些許咖啡溢出落在金屬板上產生出咖啡色的蒸氣。師傅就在蒸氣中把咖啡雙手遞給我。表演可謂非常流暢而且可觀度極高。 至於粥,廣東粥的重點是「綿」。要綿一定要夠時間,把米煮爛,水和米無法分開。現在沒有多少粥店做到了。這裡的艇仔粥明顯是客人下單後加入配料然後把粥底倒入窩內。食時各有各的味道。唯一的亮點是夠「滾」,吃了十五分鐘窩還是熱的。在凍冰冰的日子這是唯一可取的。再吃糉,不過不失,內裡有大大舊肥肉,保暖甚佳,不過非常油膩。 那咖啡,味道別提了,$6是看表演的,不包味道。幸好粥吃完沒有口乾。下次還是付款買蔗汁吧。  繼續閱讀
