Working in Wan Chai is just so blissful! 😍 Long-time followers know that I've eaten at this Encore restaurant countless times!! Now the new store's offers are just too good to resist 😤. Post a photo on Xiaohongshu when you dine in and you can get a complimentary snack ✅. Working day lunches are even more affordable at over 40+!! Does the boss really make money? 😭 The dishes I ordered today were all so delicious! The fresh stir-fried yellow beef was truly freshly cut and stir-fried 🥩. The chef stir-fried it over high heat, making the beef super tender and smooth. The spicy and fragrant flavor typical of Hunan cuisine was very authentic. One bite and it was just like the taste of home 😋. It was nothing like the soft and mushy texture of pre-prepared dishes! Stir-fried local pork with chili is a classic Hunan dish. Each dish is cooked in a separate pot to retain the wok hei, which is simply amazing. It goes perfectly with rice and you just can't stop eating. The meat is very fragrant and chewy. The difference between freshly made and pre-prepared is really obvious. The dry pot sauerkraut and pig intestines really impressed me. The aroma from the vigorous stir-frying over high heat was overwhelming. It was tangy and spicy, very appetizing and the portion was generous. There was no fishy smell at all, and it was handled very cleanly. 👏 It's obvious that the fresh ingredients were cooked right away! I ordered the spicy and sour shredded potatoes and it was so crispy and refreshing, not greasy at all. The potatoes were freshly cut and stir-fried to maintain their crispness and tenderness. The portion was generous and quite large. 👍 The chopped chili and small taro was so tender and pink, a real delicacy. The taro was freshly steamed and made on the spot. No one could resist it! The restaurant still hangs precious photos 📸 of "Going Home to Hunan" representing Hunan cuisine entering the United Nations and the Great Hall of the People. It's really interesting to eat while looking at them. It feels like enjoying Hunan cuisine with a rich cultural background ✨. It's so fortunate to be able to taste this in Hong Kong too 😭. They insist on not using pre-prepared dishes. Every dish is freshly cooked by the chef on the spot, with a rich aroma from the wok! 本留子在香港吃得坠频繁的湘菜了!!属于是量大实惠 性价比高的食堂级别!!馋嘴牛蛙在香港真的很馋这口好吃的牛蛙 !健美蛙非常鲜美 肉质入口即化!鲜鲜辣辣的汤汁 完全是米饭杀手!!外婆炒蛋有这个菜我真的能吃两碗大米饭Q!!大片的鸡蛋搭配油香的辣椒真的很绝!!擂辣椒皮蛋很惊喜很好吃的一个凉菜!!辣椒的清爽和黏糊的皮蛋太绝配了!!人均150+(午市套餐48+打工人心头爱!!在香港别再说找不到好吃的湘菜了固!!!! 繼續閱讀

.呢間叫「回家湘」的湖南菜餐廳新開張,好少見到係做快餐形式嫁湖南小炒,即刻引起我興趣,今次午市就專登嚟試試佢地嘅風味。我哋三個人各自點咗唔同嘅午市套餐,分別係小炒肉、香酥肉同炒四季豆。每個套餐都包咗白飯任裝,仲有一支紙包果汁或者罐裝汽水,價錢合理,份量都算足。.三款入面,香酥肉最出色,炸得外脆內嫩,仲帶少少鹹香味,好送飯。小炒肉辣味適中,青椒夠香;四季豆炒得夠鑊氣,加咗肉碎提味,幾有家常菜嘅味道,整體水準唔錯。不過要提一提服務方面:我當日叫咗三位服務員,有兩位係講普通話,可能對唔慣講普通話嘅香港人會有啲唔方便。另外,雖然餐廳入邊寫住全部菜式都係自己煮,但門口見到有手推車放住一袋袋食材,好似有啲係預製或者加工食材,例如酸辣脆豆角。不過味道上都算交足功課,午餐時間過嚟食係幾方便又飽肚。 繼續閱讀
