喜記發揚避風塘美食, 其中正宗避風塘炒辣蟹,椒鹽九肚魚是喜記的招牌美食。

食完晚餐不夠飽, 朋友想食辣蟹, 便到喜記一試門口貼了不少明星相....好似ok10時到達, 只有2枱食客只想食辣蟹, 什麼都不叫....但原來叫辣蟹送一小菜 (8款中選1款)待應選了肉蟹後給我們看, 大約$650....講左幾两...都唔知係唔係....都怪自己少行街市唔知市價...坐低點都要試下辣蟹可選小, 中, 大辣避風塘炒辣蟹先登場, 舖滿炸蒜, 有香氣籠罩, 蟹鉗都大隻, 蟹多肉但獲氣唔夠2人食...都食左好耐先完成.送的小菜選了炒九菜花, 味道一般, 偏咸埋單大約$720....味道一般不值這個名氣與價錢

$388 喜記2人餐 (原價$660)!今次第一次食喜記廚房,因為好少黎銅鑼灣呢條街食,而且要食貴價蟹喎兩個人食一只蟹,動輒都要$500,咁再加埋其他小菜,應該要成千蚊落樓啦!見到有團購:6道菜式*有馳名的豉椒炒蜆(都算係幾大只及鮮甜可口,最重要係無沙,只只d肉都係度,唔會話得個殼,d肉飛甩晒!而且可以當作下酒菜,啱晒d麻甩佬)*喜記正宗炒辣蟹(叫左少辣,剛剛好夠晒味,又唔會太濃烈,蓋過蟹的鮮味,火喉幾好!兩個人剛剛好夠食!)*貴妃妙齡鴿(都真係幾細只,不過皮嫩肉汁多,熱辣辣,好味!)*招牌蟹油炒麵(炒得好乾身,而且有銀芽及少少辣,好好味!)*上湯浸菜心(見到有糖心,就知道係甜菜,清湯上都好入味呢!)*合時甜品(埋左單,都沒有主動送上糖水或甜品,是否要另叫才上呢?我見到人地係有蕃薯糖水架!)伙計的動作很快,但蟹油炒麵應該後上,否則會很快凍晒呢!由入座起運,十分鐘來了一個菜,之後每五分鐘就上一個,效率幾好,但人流真的很少.最後埋單,另付了加一(原價$660的加一)茶介(鐵觀音及熱水)小食(花生一碟),一百蚊唔洗找.咁即係每人$250左右,都幾抵食!

完全不值這個名氣與價錢味道一係過咸,一係過甜,份量亦偏少...主角,好似大碟,但望真有2舊唔知做乜既大薑,薑蔥炒蟹唔應該落鼓油,現在變左超咸,肉質一般冇鮮味,冇乜獲氣!還算新鮮,但又係過咸,食左多隻都有沙!食到隔離位都聽到沙沙聲炒四季豆既肉鬆落左好多鹽,又係咸到要狂飲水,四季豆又有好多渣!!!!唯一可取係條魚,但出面普通茶樓都食到既水準~!最好笑係甜品係超甜,茶又唔熱又淡味!名過於實,我寧可去熟食中心食炒蟹好過!!!!唔會有下次

We made reservation there for our Christmas Eve gathering. Our friends were visiting from Shanghai, so thought this would be a perfect Cantonese treat for 10 people instead of traditional western dinner.Since we made reservation, we did not have to wait. This location has a private room, so was nice to hold a party of 10. Waiters were very attentive even though the restaurant was full house. We let my fiancé do the honor of ordering for everyone and he sure did a great job.We ordered the following-4 large crabs cooked two different styles. 1. Spicy Bi Feng Tang with lots of garlic and onion medium spicy2. Sautéed with egg yolks. First one was quite spicy for my taste bug, but everyone else loves the flavor. The crabs were covered by the fried garlic, and the crab was very meaty and tender.I personally like the crab with egg yolk better because you can taste more of the original crab meat flavor instead of overwhelming garlic taste.We also ordered the followings:- razor clams with black bean sauce- small clams with black bean sauce.- snails in very spicy sauce- whole fried chicken- veggies- garlic beef cubes- egg white fried rice-steam crab with sticky riceThe egg fried rice was very flavorful and rice was cooked just right. It wasn't too hard nor too soggy. The chicken was very crispy and flavorful outside and tender inside. Highly recommended if you have lots of people to feed. The beef cube was too tender and lost the texture of beef taste. So I thought it was just okay. Razor clam dish has a great sauce, but for whatever reason, we were short of one piece... I think the restaurant maybe short us one when they brought out. We did not notice it until everyone has finished. Over all our bill came out to be 4,800HKD, so each of us paid 480 which is not bad for a big meal like this. The most expensive part of the meal was the large crabs. We paid 700 per crab and we ordered four. So that's already half of the tab.

蟹細不鮮小菜又唔夠熱(食得出是番炒的......因為啲餸外熱內暖,口感好特別)炒粉多油,無乜鑊氣四個人成千幾蚊埋單.......好似無乜野落過肚子咁樣;Totally report:蟹細不鮮小菜又唔夠熱(返炒)重手多油,無鑊氣$$。
