因為旅行、因為政局,已經一段日子沒吃自助餐;然而上週四妹妹生日前夕,一家人也趁著 Hungry Tuesday 優惠,到港麗酒店 Garden Cafe 吃了一趟海鮮主題自助餐,最開心的,當然是為食兩兄妹!雖然稱為 Hungry Tuesday,但優惠並不限於週二,內容也每個月不同;8月優惠大概是週一至四到訪,可享65折優惠兼有果汁汽水任飲(週一至四原價成人$658 / 小童 $398,有折實在非常抵);喜歡杯中物的,又可加$180暢飲多款紅白美酒及氣泡酒,所以就成了酒鬼老公的目標。惠顧 Beverage Package (walk-in 則要加$80) 的食客除可任飲場內三款果汁,也可選 Fresh Lime Soda、Homemade Lemonade、Citrus Dream、Lychee Refresher、Berry Iced Tea;而加 $180 的 Wine buffet 就可由6pm開始暢飲合共8款紅白美酒及氣泡酒至10pm,其實計來也不貴!繼飲品後,海鮮當然也是悶熱夏天的主打,而場內就提供了原隻開邊龍蝦、鮮甜蟹腳、海螺、熟蝦等選擇;其中龍蝦雖是急凍貨色,但肉質也算鮮甜又爆多膏,味道挺不錯的~場內寫時「Summer Time 不時不食」,而這裡的沙律也非常適切盛夏的胃口:添加大量無花果的地中海海鮮沙律、加入清爽西瓜的芝士沙律,還有藜麥豬肉沙律、意粉沙律、鴨胸沙律、五香牛腱、羅勒番茄配水牛芝士沙律等,全都很引人食慾。轉角還有引入衛生水耕菜的沙律吧,適合追求健康的人士;而場內多款凍肉、火腿,還有稍後時間推出的芝士併盤,都是送酒一流的美食。反正自助餐6pm就開始,早到的朋友大可以先自製一場 Happy Hour,然後才慢慢嘆海鮮主題晚餐。除了海鮮,刺身也是不可或缺的一環;場內提供即點即切的蟹棒、希靈魚、鯛魚、吞拿魚、油甘魚及三文魚刺身,再加上多款手握壽司及卷物,喜歡壽司的兩兄妹非常開心!另一邊還有切件西瓜、蜜瓜、菠蘿、哈蜜瓜,以及原個蘋果、柑桔、布冧的水果,喜愛水果的兩口子也吃了很多很多來打底!每天場內都有不同主題的美食,當晚是章魚小丸子,可以自由添加紫菜及木魚絲,自然更得小孩歡心;另外由於天氣不穩,原本屬於戶外的燒烤美食也一併搬了進來,包括有燒羊架、漢堡包、脆皮豬腩肉、烤豬肋骨以及燒雞等,後來更推出美味牛仔骨,食肉獸包保滿足~旅行過來滿想念中菜的,所以接著這個 Asian Station 也很得我心:美味烤鴨、充滿港式風味的油雞及叉燒,還配上薑蓉及酸梅醬,要大大加分;另外大大尾的薑蔥蒸石斑,也是嚐鮮者必選美食~除此之外,場內也有豉油皇炒米粉、上海浸時蔬、炸蓮藕餅、時菜炒鮮魷、芥蘭炒牛肉、辣酒煮螺,再加上印度咖哩雞及印度飯,非常能夠滿足我對亞洲美食的渴求!   除了五大訴求,自助餐界缺一不可的還有燒牛肉。當晚酒店提供弓澳洲肉眼,配以薯條及扒雜菜,另一邊還有超鮮甜、爆多汁的鑽石蜆,兩口子都不知追加了多少回,必試啊!此外場內也有我永遠吃不下,但囝囝卻無比鍾愛的粉麵檔,蟹棒、魚糕、獅子狗、野菜等多款配料,加上拉麵/烏冬並配以豬骨湯/味噌湯/雞湯,胃納夠大的就去幫襯吧。最後還有西式的白酒煮青口、燒鴨胸配燒汁、蜜糖燴南瓜、傳統肉醬千層麵、邪惡的黃金芝士薯角,加上番茄忌廉湯,以及超好喝、連喝兩碗的栗子排骨湯,食物大致介紹完畢。咦,不對,差點忘了餅店那邊也化身成甜品吧,供應著多款精緻蛋糕、甜品、熱甜品以及三款 Movenpick 雪糕。除此之外,晚上 7:15pm、7:30pm、7:45pm 及 8:15pm 都有不同的美食登場,包括即切刺身、每位花掌花菇鵝掌、松露意大利飯,以及火焰甜品!好不容易將食物介紹了一遍後,是時間開餐啦!這晚鮮甜的海鮮固然是主打,但各式水果、沙律、刺身及燒烤美食也非常吸引,我們決定全部拿回來,來張開心大合照後然後就開動。我們不客氣囉!時間很快來到7:15pm,在入口開始了鮮宰平政魚的表演,由於要帶妹妹去洗手間,只來得及拍魚身解體後分魚片的一刻;拿回魚片後不久,人人有份(小孩也不例外)的養顏花掌花菇鵝掌也登場了,為了補充連場旅行對皮膚造成的傷害,當然要吃個清光啦! 囝囝 真的超愛澱粉質,除了喜歡湯麵,也非常欣賞新鮮即製的松露意大利飯,也是多得他,已經很飽的甜魔媽媽也可以輕輕分一杯羹,真好~ 去到火焰甜品環節,我們一家都已經很飽要跳過,因為還要留肚給生日蛋糕!是的,我們提早了三天為妹妹慶生,希望她能夠繼續健康、快樂、自由地成長下去~  來到9月,Hungry Tuesday 的優惠改了去午市,連同果汁/汽水任飲的午餐成人$311 /小童$207;此外也有$1,580 供一大一小享用國際自助晚餐+親子薄餅製作體驗+享用戶外恆溫泳池兩小時的優惠,大家可有心動? 繼續閱讀

當人多聚會時,要配合各人喜好和口味實在不易。這個時候,自助餐和放題就是最佳選擇,多元化食物種類發揮作用,可以迎合各人所愛,各取所需。 這次聚會是為預祝母親節,所以選擇環境較為舒適又不會限時限刻的酒店自助餐。  因為有成員是HILTON DINNING會員,選擇港麗咖啡園有75折,同時咖啡園自助晚餐有開魚表演及甜品示範,適合喜愛新事物的婆婆。為慶祝母親節,成員用贈劵換了6杯香檳給各位母親,令各人興高采烈,cheers!今次比較特別的是有和牛和即燒鰻魚,食物質素高,味道整體不錯。今晚的開魚示範主角是平正魚,師傅手起刀落很快便把魚解體,眾食客魚貫排隊領取新鮮割切的平正魚刺身,我們也不例外,鮮味無窮。相隔不足一小時又有甜品示範,火焰雪糕真不錯。自助晚餐食物種類繁多,中西日式為主,冷海鮮盤、沙律、冷盤、熱葷,各式其式,不能盡錄。 冷盤:煙三文魚、煙鴨胸、燻蹄、莎槳美腸、各式沙律;冷海鮮盤:龍蝦、麵包蟹、雪場蟹腳、青口、蝦;西式燒烤:燒牛肋骨、英國燒豬架、香煎側膜橫肌和牛、多款醬汁;日式食物:壽司、冷麵、魚生、刺身(帶子、希靈魚、赤身、油甘魚、劍魚腩、三文魚)、燒鰻魚、日式照燒三文魚;燒烤吧:倉魚、腸仔、牛肋條、帆立貝、羊扒、串燒雞、蝦、牛仔骨;炸物:炸生蠔、炸蝦、炸豬扒;熱葷:薑蔥蒸石斑、薑蔥炒蟹、燴羊肉、黑椒牛仔骨、上湯浸時蔬、泰式豬頸肉、紅燒豆腐、蕃薯、甘筍;燒味:燒鴨、叉燒、燒肉;麵食:雜菜千層闊麵、燴伊麵;湯類:大蒜薯蓉湯、青紅蘿蔔肉湯;芝士:Emmental, Brie, Blue Stilton;沙律菜吧、水果、薄餅、各式麵包、各式甜品、雪糕。 繼續閱讀

This restaurant is located in Conrad Hong Kong, offering both buffet dinner as well as international a la carte cuisine. Arriving on the night we found that the restaurant is fairly popular, and even at early evening there is a good number of diners already seated.The setting is decent, but the tables are quite close to each other so it is not a place for private or business dinner. However, for casual and informal gatherings it is fairly comfortable. Our table is just on the side of the buffet area so we get a good view of the food on offer. I decided to go for the Buffet Dinner ($658) while my wife had the Traditional Fish and Chips ($215). On the seafood bar there are lobster, jade whelk, prawns, mussels and crab legs. I tried the lobster and whelk, and both are so-so but could not be called tasty.Then going for the salad, along with some cold cuts and cheese. While the choices are fairly wide, again all of them are just mediocre, without anything that really jump out in terms of flavors. The only thing I like is that you can make your own Caesar salad with the salad bowl. Next I went for the sushi section. Sampling a number of them, they are ok in terms of quality, and my favorite would be the squid sushi. I did not get much of the sashimi apart from the crab sticks and octopus. The octopus was so salty that I could barely finish the slices. A disappointment.Switching to the cooked food, I went outside to the BBQ area. The chef had already grilled different types of meat and I got a piece of lamb, a chicken skewer and a piece of spare rib. The lamb is decent and fairly juicy, but the chicken has all dried up. The spare rib got a nice sauce on top but was not marinated enough in my opinion. Coming back inside I tried the other cooked food. Nothing worth mentioning except the pork chop which is rather tasty, and the gravy is also rich and flavorful. Unfortunately that is the only food throughout the night that I could recommend.Suddenly the chef came out with a cart and on it there was a whole fish, and the waiter advised us that the Hiramasa sashimi is available. Surprisingly they are not as good as I would expect, and I suspect the fish has not been properly defrosted and not served at the right temperature which affected the taste. The waiter then came and provided us with a foie gras. Even that was a let down, with the foie gras have not been seared enough to bring the nice signature aromas.Going for the noodle, I had the udon with some fish roll. The udon had been cooked for too long and became too soft, as the chef had to take care of cutting the meat at the adjacent station. It is not her fault but sadly this made even this simple dish disappointing in the end. For dessert I decided to just had some ice-cream and fruit. The passion fruit ice-cream was good, with the proper sourness to balance well the sweetness and is quite delicious.The fruit is, well, nothing special.The service overall was decent, as would be expected from a 5-star hotel. But the food quality is certainly a big disappointment.The cost overall was $845, after a credit card discount. I am not a fan of buffet, and this again prove to me I made the wrong decision. 大約有2年無去港麗嘅咖啡園食自助餐,因為今年有張2-10人嘅半價優惠劵,所以生日同屋企人再次嚟呢度慶祝。環境依然,無咩變化。習慣早早入坐,可以慢慢嘆,自助餐優點就係可以食住等,選擇種類多,照顧各人口味。趁人不多,兜個圈睇吓有咩食先,有熱辣辣嘅蒸海鮮時令新鮮白露筍第一次見喎......薄餅多種熱食落雨關係,戶外燒烤檔仔暫停,改由廚房烤完,再擺出來供應。海南雞飯都有壽司、刺身唔少得,湯粉麵一樣有......依然沒有生蠔冷盤海鮮最重要其他冷盤新鮮水果各種沙律菜及配菜、果仁,更有軟芝士、藍芝士甜品櫃有各式糕、餅、慕絲、雪糕,最特別係有雞蛋仔每位客人有一份煎鵝肝,甘香豐腴,入口即溶,美味今次無食凍龍蝦、蟹腳,反而食熱嘢多啲,蒜蓉蒸龍蝦幾彈牙,有鮮味,蝦頭好多膏,不過就細隻啲。蒸螺都唔錯,好食過凍食。最驚喜係有新鮮白露筍,以牛油忌廉煮得腍滑,據說係鬼佬主廚指示,話咁樣至好食,又幾好味,個人就喜歡唔好咁腍嘞。即切魚生劍魚、希靈魚都OK。沙律菜有苜蓿芽、鮮磨菇,新鮮好味烤豬架就柴皮咗啲烤魚OK啦甜品以焦糖燉蛋最好食中間放咗粒紅莓,中和咗甜味,斑蘭蛋糕夠鬆軟每晚都有劏魚表演,今晚係黃鰭吞拿魚,雖然放响度好大條,師傅話佢係條BB嚟,所以腩位無拖羅嘅油脂。整體食物都幾好,服務都殷勤嘅,如果以正價的話,可以有其他選擇。唔知係咪落雨關係戶外植物滋生蚊蟲呢,雖然在室內,都有蚊和小昆蟲飛舞。 繼續閱讀

Compared to Cafe Too, which is next store, this buffet is much smaller in scale. Nonetheless enough to fill your stomach. The seafood section had lobsters, crab legs, mussels and shrimps. The lobsters and crab legs tasted quite sweet and the meat was quite tender. Meat entrees included rib eye roast, pork roast and wagyu skirt steak. I only went for the skirt steak and it was perfectly seared to medium. The sliced steak was juicy and pack with intense flavor! I ended up with multiple servings-> most memorable buffet item. Didn’t have room for the noodles or other hot dishes. So can’t comment on them. They looked average to me. As for desserts, limited choices and they were average and nothing to write home about.
