💮終於又輪到熊妹一年一度嘅大日子,樹熊深知熊妹喜好英式下午茶,一早預訂左全香港最高級最著名嘅《半島酒店》經典下午茶,實在驚喜萬分。🥰📌實不相瞞,作為high tea發燒友嘅熊妹竟然係未試過《半島》下午茶,都有啲慚愧,所以今次係好期待嚟到《半島酒店》朝聖一下。🤩📌華麗高貴嘅裝潢,帶出古典優雅嘅味道,熊妹頓時搖身一變,變成公主出巡。👰🏻📌樹熊一早預訂好嘅窗口位🖼,滲透着柔和嘅光線💡,唔會刺眼又有陽光氣息。窗台擺放着畫功精緻嘅大花瓶,插滿紫紅色嘅繡球花同黃菊花💐,顯得格外清幽,份外賞心悅目。👀📌《半島》下午茶供應時間為下午兩時至六時,$748兩位加一,包含多款三文治、鬆餅、甜點同兩款飲品,有各類傳統半島茶、花茶、烏龍茶等供應,真係花多眼亂。📌《半島》經典下午茶秉承英式三層下午茶嘅傳統,用上銀器製嘅三層架,擺放着一層甜點層🍩,一層鹹點層🌮,一層鬆餅層🥠,再配上一大壺花茶🍵,係咁雍容華麗嘅環境下慢慢細味各款茶點嘅美味,再與友伴把茶聊天,實在係人生一大樂事。☺️甜點層四款精緻嘅甜點,有蜜瓜忌廉撻,紅莓蛋糕,芒果馬卡龍同埋奶茶蛋糕。味道都唔算好甜,本身應有嘅味道都好出,蜜瓜味香濃,紅莓味酸酸,芒果味偏甜,奶茶重奶味。其中熊妹就覺得蜜瓜忌廉撻最好味,本身蜜瓜配奶已經好夾,牛油撻皮又好鬆化,成件事係非常引人入口嘅甜撻🥧。鹹點層四款鹹點配返四款甜點,主要係三款三文治🥪同埋一款三文魚鹹忌廉杯。三文治嘅麵包非常軟熟,饀料配搭有雞肉,芝士,青瓜等等,飽肚之餘又唔會好膩濟,少少一件已經好夠喉。而另一款鹹點三文魚鹹忌廉杯,熊妹同樹熊就唔係好識欣賞啦,三文魚都幾爽口嘅,但托底嘅鹹忌廉比較鹹咗啲,同埋就咁食有點膩,熊妹認為如果可以撈相麵包會容易入口啲。英式鬆餅又到熊妹最喜愛嘅英式下午茶茶點啦,一如既往,熊妹認為好味嘅英式鬆餅一定要帶出淡淡的牛油香味同鬆化嘅鬆餅質感,《半島酒店》嘅英式鬆餅當然都唔會令熊妹失望喇。超開心嘅係四件鬆餅都係熊妹最愛嘅提子鬆餅,因為我覺得加上提子乾嘅甜可以提升牛油鬆餅嘅口感同味道,再搽埋跟上嘅士多啤梨果醬同cream butter,簡直完美配搭。果醬唔會太甜,熊妹最怕太假嘅甜;Cream butter質感滑滑的,淡淡的牛油忌廉香,真係鬆餅嘅最佳拍檔。香味茶:花香-熱情果、芙蓉花、萬壽菊花瓣《半島》下午茶咁多款茶揀,熊妹梗係要試一款花茶啦。非常高貴嘅銀器茶具,仲有茶篩隔雜茶葉,充滿高級西洋風。紫紅嘅茶從銀茶壺倒出,本身熊妹都好驚果茶會好甜,結果又唔係喎,少甜之餘花香味都好重,店員仲會好勤力咁不斷加水,就算飲到後期嘅茶都唔會覺得太淡味,果然值得一試。凍檸茶樹熊都係飲唔慣高級酒店嘅西洋茶葉,決定都係揀返地道風味嘅凍檸茶🍹,始終一口酸甜嘅冰茶先啱樹熊嘅口味,鹹魚青菜,各有所愛。📌淡淡牛油鬆化嘅英式鬆餅處於《半島酒店》嘅優雅氛圍下,呢個就係經典下午茶嘅靈魂。📌多謝樹熊的細心安排,熊妹終於圓夢。💕 繼續閱讀
This restaurant is located in the lobby of The Peninsula, most famous for the afternoon tea and everyday one would see long queues and a full-house of people enjoying snacks and a cup of nice coffee or tea. We came tonight for dinner though. Dinner is much more quiet than the afternoon session, and seated at a table in the middle of the lobby allows us to savor the grand decor of the hotel, with its high ceiling, columns with sculptures, and plenty of palm trees creating a relaxing, grand yet friendly atmosphere. We ordered a Caesar Salad ($235) to share as starter. Prepared with the traditional recipe, the Roman lettuce is mixed with bacon, egg, anchovy and crouton. The sauce is very delicious, with the right balance of acidity from lemon juice and savory from the anchovy. The crouton added a nice crunchy bite too. For the main my wife had the Boston Lobster Spaghetti ($718) while I opted for Australian Lamb Chops ($498). Grilled to medium rare as per my request, the lamb is tender, with the right amount of fat but not excessively so. Paired with a grilled garlic, red wine sauce and mashed potato, the seasoning is appropriate. Overall it is a decent offering but if compared with a good steakhouse it is a bit lackluster. On dessert I had a Baked Cheese Cake ($185) while my wife had chosen the Rose Tea Cake ($178). The cheese cake is rich, with the cream cheese balanced well with lemon juice to give the right sweetness, pleasing on the palate. There is also a scoop of lime sorbet which has mouthwatering acidity to complement. Together with a cup of Double Espresso ($80) it is a good finish to my dinner.Service is good, though it seems to me many of the staff is fairly new, as they are a bit hesitant on their works and not exactly handle things too smoothly. But it does not affect the overall experience. The bill was $2,279 which is a bit expensive considering the food we had. Personally if coming to The Peninsula for dinner, choosing their other restaurants might seem a better choice. 繼續閱讀

10 月份會見到好多品牌都有粉紅色絲帶,半島都唔例外個日我地叫左一個2人tea set同一份三文治上一次黎都好似4年前,個次之後應承帶呀姨去的,一等就咁耐喇lol都好喔,起碼最後我都做得到喔yeah~半島tea如果冇入住的話係冇得book的,要慢慢排隊。14:00開始但個日13:20左右到已經有9-10pair人等緊lol我地14:03可以入座,算好好彩呢可以坐到離隊伍很遠的另一邊lobby範圍,如果好似我第1次個陣坐近隊個邊呢,就會好尷尬喔同等緊的人你眼望我眼咁仲要都想像到排隊係唔好受的麻,但食tea係享受的麻,這種兩極的情緒聚埋一齊就怪啦,食個個都唔知應唔應該表現到好relax lol所以, 早d去排隊, 做第一輪入座的係最明智的,因為大家一坐就2個鐘起跳,等緊的人都唔知等幾耐嫁喇仲只供應到18:00, 個日我地16:xx走都仲有成堆人都係ge, 人地醒目排定聽日的唔通又話你知咩媽咪同呀姨唔明點解咁高級的地方要人排, 唔比人攞籌等我嘗試解釋下:1. 呢度唔高級2. 呢度食物黎講tea最cheap 所以要排, 有階級觀念是絕對的 哈哈3. 香港除左排隊本身唔洗排外, 有咩唔洗排/等? 印象中下面兩層係同以前一樣的, 菜單冇大改變, 一樣係由超難食鬆糕墊底~最特別係最上面呢層, 轉哂粉紅色去響應乳癌意識推廣月好靚喔,最鍾意粉紅色我仲著左粉紅色襯番嫁呢個macaron好新鮮,皮還鬆化的 入面有士多啤梨醬,又酸又甜我唔中意~呢個唔知咩,餅夾住d餡咁啦都係,甜咁囉所有野幾靚經我貼地的形容都會變得冇哂品味~中間個粒咬開係咁的,爆醬 呢個又酸又甜又有朱古力味的感覺講真真係好唔夾下完全唔知整個個諗緊咩~ 仲要爆醬, 雞皮都起埋呢個其實幾好味, 白桃味的唔知咩配餅仲閃閃地幾靚其餘下兩層的野都係ok的, 可以啦, 你明啦, 當然啦黎呢度食的就叫食下環境姐,如果出面另一d cafe賣呢個質素一係就要好平, 一係就等執粒嫁喇反而另一個單點的三文治好好味入面滿口係餸超好味附三文治上的薯條係極度好味當然啦,三文治同薯條要好味有幾難, 好基本啦, 但係呢度預左唔係食食物的地方食到基本好味的野好安慰件事仲突然變得化算lol最後有兩粒朱古力hea你印象中第一次已經知係唔好味的,但今次又比上次好味左lol 繼續閱讀
