聖誕節和家人吃飯,必然是選擇中菜,順一順長輩口味。今次選擇的北京樓中環店,環境佳位置方便,雖然是美心集團出品,但星級是名副其實,食物做得頗佳。酸辣湯、翡翠龍鳳羹、松茸牛肚菌湯三款羹湯中以翡翠龍鳳羹較佳,這味海鮮羹雖清淡但頗有鮮味,適合不愛油膩的朋友;松茸牛肚菌湯也熬得清甜,有各類菇菌,但其中有一、兩種菇菌較韌,不易吃;酸辣湯是京滬傳統湯羹之一,配料下得足但是調得過辣了。片皮鴨二食 (鴨鬆生菜包)星級食府收費當然比平常貴些,但質素也較有保證。雖片皮鴨索價五百多元,二食還要外加,美味程度也是滿意的。片皮鴨可選切法,我們選了皮肉分開,更能嚐到鴨皮之脆。除了烤得香脆,油脂更是飽滿,可能店家選用了體型較大的鴨子。要挑剔的就是鴨肉較韌,有點柴。麼麼皮不厚不薄,表面沾了些麵粉令皮之間不會黏在一起,還可以。配料齊全,青瓜蔥絲麵醬皆有。二食的炒鴨鬆較普通,混了些松子、蔥之類的。小籠包、蘿蔔絲酥卷、蔥油酥為了迎合小朋友口味,點了幾款小點心,意外地做得很好。小籠包皮薄,湯和餡調味溫和,令人吃得份外舒服;蘿蔔絲酥卷外皮酥脆,內餡的蘿蔔絲汁液豐富又有點爽口,我特別喜歡這道;蔥油酥餡料豐富,蔥香四溢,三道點心都令大家滿意。宮保蝦球個人覺得名菜之一的宮保蝦球就表現普通了些少。蝦球是紮實彈牙,但外皮粉漿質感不好,上菜時溫度不夠熱,所以要扣分。醬汁還好,帶點甜酸,辣味不重。西檸雞這一味也是點來迎合小朋友口味的,炸粉比較厚,檸檬汁酸了些,不是太推薦。撇除一兩款小菜,大多數食物也是滿意的。主要是坐得舒服,又不會太嘈吵,適合一家大小聚餐。 繼續閱讀

細細個時屋企無乜錢,所以去飲茶機會唔多,可能一個月先去一次咁大把。 仲記得第一次去尖沙咀北京樓飲茶, 是因為某些特別日子,絕對是惜得懷緬的時光。 今天和朋友來到中環歷山大廈北京樓飲茶,這裡裝潢和尖沙咀店有相當大分別。 中環分店相當有氣派,充滿中國風,所以吸引了很多的遊客光臨。上海朋友說一定要「吃蜜汁方塊」一碟四件, 平均一件要 $30。方塊即是金華火腿, 選靚火腿是重要的一環。因為如果火腿唔靓會吃到油益味。將金華火腿蒸致軟身再封蜜汁,吃時夾進蒸好的包子內,入口甜美富咸香,軟熟的包子吸收了蜜汁香, 超級好味。  「叉燒包」一寵兩個, 賣相稱不上精緻, 但包子口感相當棉密,細滑。餡料沒有加入太多的色素,叉燒肥瘦比例大約1:3 帶點蜜味,水準不俗。「XO醬炒腸粉」份量足是最後用來填肚。雖然有點油膩,但炒得相當惹味;條條腸粉上了豉汁色,閃閃令相當吸引。  繼續閱讀

I had been craving Peking duck for so long! Finally had chance to come by and try it  again in so many years. The tableware were as pretty as usual.We first ordered a barbecued Peking duck because we knew we had to wait for quite a while for this dish. We were told that we had to wait for at least 30 min.While we were waiting for the duck, we ordered steamed dumpling stuffed with pork and supreme soup. There was plenty of soup inside the dumplings. The wrap was reasonable but I think they could have been even thinner. The pork stuffings were ok. I would say they were a pass. After waiting for around 25 min, the barbecued Peking duck was served to us. We were asked whether it was ok to slice the skin and meat together.  The duck slices were served to us very soon. The presentation looked so good, although just for the first plate but not the second. The skin was really crispy though the meat itself lacked duck flavour. I would say it was a pass only given the fame and price. The wrap was way too thick which ruined the wrapped duck. The duck was better eaten on its own rather than with the wrap. It was really 食之無味!  We also ordered this second course: Sauteed minced duck meat with sliced lettuce. The portion was so tiny. We had expected more from the leftover duck. The minced duck tasted good though and the lettuces were so fresh. It was good eating them together. This dish was the best of all.Maybe my expectation of the Peking duck was just too high for it to please me again. 繼續閱讀

日前在中環歷山大廈北京樓晚膳,完全失望,不知所謂,首不說出品,光是服務就已經超級差,有位女樓面只照顧我們鄰桌的外國人,另一位部長是吧(結灰色領帶的)寫菜時黑面,寫完菜轉個面就已經用d好蔑視的態度,試問我十位用饍,先點8個冷盤,再點熱食,有什麼問題?整晚全程冇乜人主動招呼,不換碟,次次都要叫才有人換碟,跟鄰桌的熱情招呼,主動換碟簡直天淵之別,難道外國人要付錢,難道香港人就要受這樣待遇嗎!加菜又漏單,漏咗單仲反問:咁你仲要唔要吖!訂位7点半,7點多開始食飯,8点半就不停有人過來問:菜齊未?似趕客。馳名北京填鴨的薄餅,一上桌已經又硬又凍,皮原本已經好厚,又沒有熱爐跟保溫,拔絲香蕉上桌已經是水浸香蕉(但眼見鄰桌叫拨絲香蕉,廚師是即埸做及席前表演的,這是種族歧視嗎?高力豆沙,皮厚過皮球。由服務到食品出品都超級差水準,不知所謂,所以技倆只是呃鬼佬 繼續閱讀

試過尖沙咀同金鐘嘅北京樓,質素一般,都係歷山大廈呢間最好食!試過幾次即日訂位都滿座,今日平日難得訂到位,終於可以再去食!北京填鴨$500幾蚊一隻,皮脆肉嫩,物有所值!曾經係尖沙咀北京樓食過,d肉又乾又鞋。呢到應該係即叫叫烤嘅,侍應話要等得耐d。其他食物無影相,但都好好味,叫左松子黃魚、上湯莧菜、小龍包、窩貼、銀絲卷、煨麵、羊肉拉麵、高力豆沙。用AE卡有優惠,75折,5個人食,埋單$1700。席間仲有師傅表演拉麵,bb表示好好睇🤣🤣🤣 繼續閱讀
