今日想食中菜,係網上搜到咗呢間餐廳,餐廳裝修非常有中國風,環境幾舒服,兩個人嗌咗三個菜,係北京填鴨和醉雞,仲有鴨鬆生菜包,填鴨係最好食的,皮薄而且好脆,油脂唔多,肉質唔會好乾,加上餅皮和配料醬汁,味道好讚,醉雞小辣幾開胃的,生菜包就一般般了。 繼續閱讀

This restaurant has been here for a little while, and I’ve been coming back here for some time over the years. Typically, I’m not the one paying (thanks dad), so it’s harder to evaluate this place on a basis of value.That said, the food here is quite good. The place is called 北京樓,so I think that the main feature of course is the Peking duck. It’s probably one of the better Peking ducks actually: the duck is well balanced in terms of fat and meat, and the taste is quite nice.However, they have some other dishes too. In particular, I think the prawns are quite nice, and are always a popular choice. One of the interesting things about this spot is that you can receive a mini performance sometimes, since the chefs sometimes make noodles in front of the guests (the whole act takes maybe only a minute), but it’s kind of interesting, and might be the kind of thing tourists like, so keep that in consideration when picking a spot. 繼續閱讀

朋友生日, 揀咗好耐未黎過嘅北京樓吃飯。冷盤叫咗素鵝同醉雞。素鵝同出面大部份走路唔痛是沒有油炸的,非常清新。醉雞中規中矩,浸得入味但酒味不重。黃金蝦味道很好不過蝦有啲霉。係全晚最失望嘅一道菜。今晚主角當然係片皮鴨。北京樓的片皮鴨未必係全香港最好,但一定係全港水準最穩定的, 從來無失手。今晚亦唔例外。肥瘦適中,薄餅每件分明唔會黐住。二食鴨肉生菜包感覺清爽,同片皮鴨形成不同嘅對比。一邊食一邊望住師傅表演拉麵,於是叫咗一碟。炒拉麵賣相麻麻,不過味道不錯。小籠包皮薄餡靚,朋友雖然夾左多次都失手跌翻落碗,小籠包皮依然冇破爛,認證左點心師傅嘅功力。甜品叫咗依家比較少見嘅拔絲香蕉。用糖漿做嘅皮冷凍後變咗香脆嘅外殼, 但裏面嘅香蕉仍然保持溫暖,係一到考廚師功夫嘅甜品。 繼續閱讀

Ordered 5 dishes in total, 3 of which were quite terrible given the brand of the restaurant. Soup in the noodles was too salty, minced meat filling was bland, frankly nothing about the mean was particularly pleasing. I’m generally not picky, but this is the first time I’ve had the urge to write a poor review for a restaurant on the basis of the food quality. Don’t think there will be a next time for me at this branch, but hope the food will be better for other customers. 繼續閱讀

首先就好鍾意個裝修同埋啲碗碟嘅設計:北京樓從名稱去到裝潢都係想突顯傳統高級中菜嘅定位,裝修係用中國紅做主調,碗碟係古代仕女嘅圖案。叫咗全隻北京片皮鴨,鴨係非常肥美嘅,食到滴晒油。稍嫌不足嘅係,包鴨既皮有啲太厚,係一般正常嘅皮嘅兩倍後左右。另外仲食咗蕃茄鍋巴、肉絲炒麵、蓮子火腿。小菜都有一定水準嘅。總括而言,食物水準都OK,個加分位主要都係喺個裝修上面,如果屋企人生慶祝生日或者大時大節都可以考慮吓依度。 繼續閱讀
